Nation Turns to It’s Most Trusted Advisor – Jennifer Lawrence

Half the country was appalled by the outcome of the election, but we were slightly more sad that our wisest citizen had not yet weighed in. Finally, Jennifer Lawrence has ended her silence.

In Broadly, Jennifer posted an essay encouraging people to stay positive in the face of negative news, though everybody has the right to be mad.

“We’re all allowed to be sad that the present isn’t what we thought it was. But we mustn’t be defeated,” Lawrence writes. “We will keep educating ourselves and working twice as hard as the man next to us because we know now that it is not fair.”

Basically, Jennifer is saying the exact same thing all of your liberal Facebook friends have been saying for 48 hours. We should try to be happy, but it’s okay that we’re sad, but stay angry, but not too angry to riot, but keep making change and girls rule.

We can now all sleep easy knowing our emotions are approved by the great J-Law.

The Democratic Party was united against Trump. 4. The Republican Party was fractured in their support for Trump because he was… Read more »
