The Rock Landed a Superhero Role
The superhero flick about a teen who can transform himself into a superhero by saying “Shazam!” has been turned into two movies. Because of course. Didn’t even finish making the damn thing and Hollywood is already milking two parts and a line of Hot Topic T-shirts out of it already.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is starring in Black Adam, the film’s complex antihero, originally an obscure DC villain from the 40s, and will now be getting his own flick. Considering he’s one of the most bankable stars on earth: no duh.
Listen, this upcoming franchise doesn’t even have a lead actor yet and they are already splitting it into two films. Is anyone else already bored of this?
