Nicki Minaj Wants Drake, but His Eyes Are On Vanessa Hudgens

Drake, may have started from the bottom, but now he’s a multiple award-winning artist looking for some lasting love (or at least a love that lasts longer than his relationship with Jennifer Lopez). The rapper scored the most ever Billboard Music Awards won in one single year, scoring 13 trophies, and beating the record formally held by Adele. He must have felt like the prom king that night because he took the opportunity to hit on former High School Musical star, Vanessa Hudgens.

Taking some time out of his shout-out filled acceptance speech he said:

“We’re all here on Earth for a limited amount of time, and we got to show love while we’re here. So tonight I want to say that Vanessa Hudgens, you look incredible tonight.”

Nicki Minaj was none too happy about this, and was seen asking Lil Wayne, “But what about me?” Her thirst went unquenched until Drake also gave her some love too, and you could see her light up. The “Bang Bang” and “Super Bass” singer was clearly upset whenever his attention was on anyone but her. Minaj smiled, but her eyes told everyone that she was deadly serious.

The Drake/Minaj love connection has been rumored for some time, fueled by the pair of them filming a video together, and by their obvious resemblance to other famous couples of the past.  No word yet on how territorial Minaj is about the former Degrassi star, but I don’t envy Vanessa Hudgens in that fight. All of the special effects in Sucker Punch won’t save her from Minaj’s anaconda. But if Rihanna decides to get involved?  Then we are looking at something like a fair fight.
