Zayn Malik Regrets Doing ’50 Shades Darker’ Duet With Taylor Swift

Bet he doesn’t regret that paycheck tho.

According to RadarOnline.com, Zayn Malik never wanted to do the track “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” with Taylor Swift in the first place, only did it because he was forced to, and totally hates it. He initially wanted it as a solo track for himself and was pissed off when the bosses changed their minds, according to a source:

“Zayn loved the song and wanted it for himself; he was desperate to record it as a solo track and thought it would be a real career boost.”

And appearing with Taylor Swift isn’t one?

“It has all of the high notes he can reach and was perfect, but movie bosses said it had to be a collaboration and wanted him to work with Taylor.”

Of course he gave in, because Taylor Swift is one of the biggest pop stars on the planet and also happens to be best friends with his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid.

Apparently this wasn’t a great idea, as neither of their fanbases really liked the song anyway.
