Kristen Bell is just like us!
Appearing on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast (via PEOPLE), Bell revealed that she likes to smoke weed.
“I like my vape pen quite a bit. I smoke around my husband and it doesn’t seem to bother him. Weed rules. Weed is my drug of choice, for sure. Like once a week if I’m exhausted and we’re about to sit down and watch 60 minutes, why not?””
Her husband, Dax Shepard, has been sober 14 years. It’s probably not great manners to be doing drugs in front of a former addict, but who is going to tell Kristen Bell, no? And really, weed isn’t a drug. It’s nothing more than enhanced Advil. If you were to tell me that Dax smokes up as well, I wouldn’t say, “Man, sucks that he fell off the wagon.” I would continue to be insanely jealous that he’s spending his days smoking weed and nights sleeping with Kristen Bell.
Can’t wait for 60 Minutes to run a piece on whether or not weed makes viewing their show better. Hint: it does.
While Bell is a big fan of the marijuana, she wants to experiment with something a bit more lucid.
(Dax believes) you shouldn’t leave earth without trying ecstasy or mushrooms. He wants to have… everyone get an overnight babysitter that we trust, put all the kids together, then come to our house, check your keys… and then just give us all really good ecstasy and have us all braid each other’s hair or something.”
