You know her from Baywatch but probably best from that poster you had hanging over your bed in college. Recently, she’s restarted her music career. Here she tells us a little bit about her new track and punching sharks in the nose.

You’ve been in the entertainment industry for a while. How’s it feel to last this long?
Persistence is the key to longevity. If you want something bad enough you will work hard until you get it. Plus I have the best fans ever and it’s their support that helps me keep pushing!

You’ve done TV, movies, modeling and now music. Which has been your favorite?
I can’t choose one over the other. I feel music is your own expression, in movies you’re playing a role and modeling is sort of like painting a picture.

If a child was drowning, could you use your Baywatch knowledge to save them?
I did learn CPR on the show. If anyone was in danger, I would try to help, especially if it was a child. But lets face it – truth is my lifeguard skills aren’t great so I may try to save someones life and end up drowning in the process.

What if they were about to be attacked by a shark? Would you punch it in the nose? The shark, not the child.
As a huge fan of shark week, I have learned that you are supposed to hit them in the nose (the shark, not the child!), but I would probably grab a real lifeguard to do the dirty work!

You’re restarting your music career. How did that come about?
It all started with a handful of people who believed in me and were constantly saying “you love music, this is what you want, just do it!” so I decided to give it a shot in a very low-key home studio. There was no pressure, we were just having fun. It didn’t truly set in until I was booked for my first performances of “I Like It Loud,” in NYC.

What kind of music do you listen to? What’s your favorite genre?
It depends on my mood. Sometimes hiphop, dance music, rock or heavy metal. Different music motivates me in different ways – its whatever I’m feeling at the time.

You have a follow-up song to I Like it Loud called Bigger Dick. Did you do extensive research on this?
HAHAHA!! No. Maybe you have the wrong idea about the song!

What’s the message of the song? I mean, no one likes a braggart.
This has nothing to do with bragging, I am so not that kind of person. Its saying I’m not going to be passive anymore, so if someone is mistreating you, get the courage to do something about it and stand up for yourself.

So when can we expect your album to drop?
Currently in the studio recording!

Out of all the celebrity competition shows (DWTS, Splash, The Apprentice, etc) which would you most rather do and how do you think you’d fare?
I would be more interested in shooting a reality show than being on a competition show. I was entered into dance competitions from the ages of 5 to 17 so it feels more exciting to try something different!

Say you were told you had 24 hours to live, what would be the last thing you’d do and what would be the last thing you’d eat?
I would have a raging party with all my friends and family and I would eat lots of sweets and go out celebrating life! I would definitely go out with a bang!

Any future projects, besides music, coming up?
I just finished shooting 2 movies, “The Book of Fire,” and “Monica,” and I am about to head to Vienna to perform in the Life Ball.

Hey, guys. If you couldn’t tell by the title or the little tags that say “interview,” I interviewed my future girlfriend Lucy Pinder. Of course, she doesn’t know it yet but we’ll get there. Oh, we will.

If you don’t know who Lucy Pinder is, you should be ashamed. Ashamed, I say. Luckily, I’m here to educate you.

Lucy Pinder is one of the most well-known UK Glamour models and who’s appeared both topless (check out a NSFW gallery here) and not-topless in The Sun, The Daily Star, Nuts, FHM, Maxim, et al. She’s also been in tv, commercials, videos and even has an advice column. According to CoEd, she’s the 3rd most popular glamour model in the UK. You can currently see her running through my dreams in the middle of the night.

Here, Lucy takes a few moments to answer some questions we shot over. She’s very effusive.

You’re my favorite glamour model and I’ve always wondered, has anyone ever told you you have an amazing pair of… eyes?
I bet you say that to all the girls ;D You are too kind, I do get quite a few comments about my….. Eyes……

Going back to the beginning. You were discovered on a beach. How did that go? Did a guy just come up to you and say, “Hey, your breasts look fantastic. Would you let me take pictures of them?”
Not quite! I was approached by a professional photographer Lee Earl and his female assistant who was freelancing taking general pictures of people on the beach enjoying the 2003 heat wave we had in the UK. He was very professional and showed me examples of his work in the paper and asked if I would mind being photographed.

I was really reluctant but my best friend Harriet egged me on! He took some snaps of me in the sea, with my bikini on, and said he thought I might do well in the glamour industry and that he’d be in touch if the newspaper liked my pictures. So nothing sleazy. It all sounds a bit odd but he was a genuine guy.

Why did it take you so many years to finally show your breasts in 2007? That seems like a gigantic tease.
Honestly, I never had plans to pursue a career in modeling before I was discovered, so when I started, the idea of topless modeling was quite overwhelming. I remember The Sun newspaper inviting me to come and do a topless shoot for Page 3 but I didn’t feel ready and The Daily Star newspaper wanted to contract me for non topless lingerie modeling so I chose not to do topless in the early stages, which then garnered unexpected attention.

My decision to do topless was purely financial, if I’m being honest, and by then I’d been in the industry for 3 years and thought it felt right to become a fully fledged Page 3 girl, nipples and all!

You run an advice column. What’s the weirdest question you’ve ever gotten? What was your answer?
I remember one where a guy said he had licked a girls cheek on a date in the cinema and wondered why she didn’t want to see him again! I really hope it was a made up one!

Do men hit on you all the time when you’re out or do they just stand there staring and hyperventilating into a bag?
Ha! I don’t get chatted up really, but I think that might have something to do with the fact I’m not really one for attracting attention. More a quiet night-in sort of girl.

That being said, what’s the fastest way to your heart?
Someone who has quiet confidence if that makes sense! A man who is comfortable and sure about who he is is far more attractive than someone trying to be flash or be something that they’re not. Rugged good looks help too, lol!

From the outside, you seem pretty perfect. Tell me why should I date you?
I think I’m the perfect girlfriend….. No joke….. Ha!

I know absolutely nothing about the UK. Is the night life there the same as in, say, LA?
No, it varies massively from town to town. I think from my experience, Americans are far more welcoming. The atmosphere seems more fun and relaxed.

[ed. note: Well, who wouldn't be welcoming to Lucy Pinder. Amirite?]

Over here we have certain foods that everyone gets after the bars/clubs like ghetto dogs or carne asada fries? Is it the same over there? Is there one thing you look forward to eating after a night out?
My hangover prevention is tea and buttered toast when I get in from a night out. That and lots of water.

You’re in tons of magazines, videos, commercials, sometimes shows. Have you done most of what you’ve wanted to do? Is there something you want to do professionally that you haven’t done?
Gosh, there are loads of things but I’m quite relaxed and realistic about my work so I’m just happy to take it as it comes.

You’re going out with your girlfriends. How long does it take you to get ready? Does the night end with a topless pillow fight? Can you describe it in great detail?
Every girls night ends in a pillow fight …… Right?! I take about 1 hour on hair and make if I’m getting dolled up. I think the reality of us girls getting together to get ready is every man’s nightmare!

[ed. note: I think the the rule is for every girl in the group, add an extra 15 minutes]

How do you stay in shape? Do you have to pamper your breasts? Like, do they get their own spa days where people put cucumbers on your nipples?
Haha! No! Maybe I should try that! I try to stay in shape going to the gym. The gym and doing yoga a couple of times a week. I also recently discovered Jillian Michaels DVDs. They are great for a quick tone up for us girls.

What do you like to do when you’re not modeling?
I’m currently obsessed with baking. My cakes are very good! My family put baking bans on me because I take them homemade cakes so much they’re fearing for their waistlines! I love yoga too.

Have you ever been bullied? If so, are you involved in any anti-bully causes?
I’ve never experienced bad bullying. I think pretty much everyone growing up had people who upset them or teased them. Children can be very cruel to each other, but I never had anything too severe. Modeling as a career we do get a lot of abuse on social media but it doesn’t get to me, it’s best to ignore it. I always think it says more about the sort of people doing it anyway. I don’t think anyone should let the opinions of anyone you don’t respect upset you.

Do you have any upcoming projects you want people to know about?
Lots of exciting things coming up in 2013. Follow my Twitter & website to keep up to date x

When UFC became more mainstream, Arianny ended up being the most well-known ring girl in sports. Some may even call her iconic while others aren’t allowed to call her at all because of those pesky restraining orders. Aside from strutting along the side of the cage at a UFC event, you can see her in the pages of Maxim, FHM, Sports Illustrated and more.

Luckily, Arianny found time to answer a few questions. I realize the questions are a little schizophrenic, but in my defense, all the blood was rushing out of my head.

How did you first get into this UFC ring girl thing?
I was paying my way through college modeling on the side and got the call to audition to be a UFC octagon girl. From there it just took off and I’ve been enjoying the ride ever since!

Sure there was Rachelle Leah, but I sort of see you as the MMA ring girl pioneer. Have you ever felt like Lewis and Clark leading other ring girls to glory?
Yes, I do. I feel like I’ve turned a fun job into a career. I’m very business savvy . I have my mom to thank for that. She took care of me the first 3 years of my life all alone balancing a 9-5 and nursing school. She is my hero.

When Brittney Palmer came over from WEC and joined you, the UFC felt complete. Like when Voltron forms. Did you feel the same way?
Yes, it’s the perfect combo – brunette/blonde.

When you first started out, did you ever get nervous that you would trip and fall off the octagon? Has that ever come close to happening?
I was so nervous that Dana White actually came octagon side and told me to slow down and relax. I’m a naturally shy person so I was completely out of my element.

If you were a MMA fighter, what would your nickname be? Arianny “The Kitten Smasher” Celeste sounds like it would instill a lot of fear in people.
The Silent Killer because I wait for perfect moment to kill. ;)

Has blood ever splattered on you while sitting cage side?
It’s gotten close and I have gotten grossed out so many times!!

Sort of related: Did you see Jon Jones’ toe?
Yeah, it was insane! But not as crazy as when Frank Mir broke Nogueiras arm.

You’ve seen tons of fights. Which fight stood out to you as a classic?
Forest Griffin vs Stephan Bonner. It was one of the bloodiest classic fights ever. The list goes on!

Knees to the head of a downed opponent. Should we be lobbying for this rule change?
No, there’s rules and regulations for a reason and UFC has to keep the guys safe.

True or false: Pride never die?
True. (ed. note: Swoon)

You’ve been in Maxim, FHM, SI, etc, but what made you decide to go full nude for Playboy?
I was at a very liberating time in my life. I was becoming a woman and I felt completely comfortable in my own skin for the first time. I love my feature and think it’s very classy. Plus I got the blessing from my mom. :)

You obviously need to be in good shape for your job but do you ever get a chance to pig out? Like, do you ever just go to the buffet and try and stuff as many crab legs and prime rib into your mouth as you can?
I definitely pig out! I’m not a big dieter, but I believe in making healthy food choices and moderation. One of my favorite cheat meals is PIZZA!!

This is my favorite gif of you. That wasn’t a question, but feel free to respond.
Haha yes. It’s awesome!

Do guys go up to you all the time and talk MMA or do they just stand in the distance gawking?
I get both! I like chatting about MMA!

On that note, how can a guy get your attention? I’d confess my love to you over a bullhorn while throwing little confetti hearts at you. Would that work?
No cheesy pick-up lines and no fan boys. Treat me like a lady and make me laugh!

Besides the UFC thing, photo shoots and your strip trivia web series, what else are you up to?
Recreating the Jaco Athletic Wear Women’s Fitness/Lifestyle clothing line (http://www.jacoclothing.com/), and creating my own bikini line. I’m also hosting an “Ask Arianny” series for Maxim.com. Little do people know, I also hold a degree in Nutrition and Fitness. I’ve been exploring the fitness side of the business more and more and have really been enjoying that.

How can fans keep in touch with you?
My website it the best way! I’m always updating ariannyceleste.com or at Twitter.

I decided to change things up a little for this interview. Today’s Model at 10 is Isis Taylor. She isn’t as much known for being a model as she is known for being a porn star. You’ve probably heard her name back when Charlie Sheen was at the height of winning. He opened up auditions for interns and Isis made it in. That’s over now though.

Isis is also married to Ethan Hunt who she coincidentally did her first scene with. They met on MySpace. When Ethan Hunt asked if she had a fat pussy. Yea, this interview is slightly NSFW.

You’ve been in 130 movies, maybe more. Do you remember all of them? Would you say you have a… pornographic memory?
Most of the movies I have released are re-released movies so most are just compilations. Best movie to date that I feel like I’ve done is FILTHY CHIXXX (Filthy Rich Entertainment)

Do you have a favorite movie?
Hot Tub Time Machine is hilarious as is Fired Up!

How did you get started in porn?
It was completely by accident. A girl I knew kept speaking so highly of this one guy, Ethan Hunt, so i had to see for myself. In hindsight it was one of my most amazing scenes, so raw yah know?

Why did you get started in porn?
No particular reason. It was available to do I have a ton of friends prior to doing adult. I live life. Like it, a bunch of it, seemed like a good idea stringed together.

Was your first audition just straight up sex?
No audition. Ethan Hunt just asked me via Myspace if I had a phat pussy (obviously i did).

Does your family know what you do?
Of course my family knows what I do. How can you hide something like that forever? You just embrace your decisions in life and be the first to tell them.

Who writes the script for pornos? Do you think people need a scene set up for them? I’d imagine most people fast forward to somewhere near the end.
I’m not much behind the scenes so I have no idea. I personally think they are silly.

Important question: Are you faking it?
Most of the time yes. You can’t have that kinda connection with everyone.

You married another performer in the industry. Is there any jealousy when one or the other gets really into a scene?
Never jealous. There are boundaries just like any relationship.

Seen any porn accidents lately?
No, you hear about any?

Big dicks: Yes, please or overrated?
Overrated.

Better title for a porn based on old cartoons for kids: Pound Puppies, The Angry Beavers or Rocko’s Modern Life?
There should be no pornos based on any of those. It’s just silly.

Favorite position?
Depends with the partner.

You have to pick 6 performers to join The Avengers of porn. You need 4 women, 2 men. Who would you choose out of active porn stars?
Daisy Marie, Ethan Hunt, me, Breanne Benson, Brooke Banner, Shay Laren.

Who has the hottest celebrity sex tape?
They all suck have you seen them?

What was it like working for Charlie Sheen? How many bricks of coke did you have to smuggle for him?
I WON’T TALK ABOUT THIS.

How can fans keep in touch with you?

More recently, you may have seen her in CSI: Las Vegas. She plays Elisabetta, David Hodges fiancee. She was actually just featured in the last episode titled Fearless taking a mud bath.

Anyway, she took the time to answer a few of my questions because no woman can resist my charm. Especially when their hands are tied behind their backs. Er, uh, figuratively. Heh heh.

How did you first get into modeling?
I was recruited on the street while heading back home from track&field practice. Then the guy was desperate to speak with my parents since I showed no interest.

What was the experience like when you first started? Was it difficult to book jobs? How did it eventually all come together?
It was all new for me. I can’t say it was hard because it kind of came naturally for me. I really enjoyed it. I signed with a big agency in Bucharest and after that jobs kept coming.

What’s been your favorite modeling gig?
I really enjoyed the video commercials I did, especially the one for FIAT. But also I loved working on campaigns for Armani, David Yurman, True Religion and Sports Illustrated.

What’s the line you won’t cross for a shoot?
Representing sexual actions. I posed nude before and everything was very artistic, but I would never pose for a magazine for adults.

Is there fierce competition between models? Have you ever seen a model do something terrible to another model?
Always. You won’t see a bigger competition elsewhere. There’s always a battle for who is the prettiest. I’ve seen girls doing unorthodox things (even to each other) that blew me away.

I read you were raised on a farm in Romania. Was this a full-blown farm with cows and chickens? Did you have to kill any chickens?
Haha, not quite. I lived in the city, but spent a lot of time at my grandma’s house in the suburbs. She has many chickens indeed. I only had to chase and catch them, then she did the rest of the job.

Would you kill a chicken for me?
You’ll have to call my grandma for that..no way

Best place to live: Romania, Milan or New York?
New York City

Do you spend a lot of time at the gym or do you follow my diet plan of just not eating?
I never have time to go to the gym, but I do watch what I eat. I’m lucky because I can eat whatever I want and I hardly gain any weight.

Describe the perfect guy.
The perfect guy for me is one that is not perfect. Perfection is boring anyway. If you can make me laugh till my cheeks hurt and be spontaneous enough to keep up with me then you are my cup of tea.

That’s me! Now convince me why I should date you.
Why wouldn’t you? :)

Being a model, do you find it hard to meet guys or regular people for that matter? Especially when they’ve seen you in a magazine?
Yes and no. Depends what kind of people I hang out with. Not everybody reads the fashion column. I like those with whom I can have a conversation that is not modeling related, you know?

On that note, are there any publications that you haven’t shot with that you want to shoot with?
I pretty much shot for them all. But a cover for Harper’s Bazzar or Vogue in the US would be wonderful.

You’ve already been in a few tv shows. Any desire to do more? Which ones would you love to do?
Yes, I am also an actress now. I really enjoyed working with the CSI: Las Vegas team. We shall see what the future holds from now on. I would love to shoot for a movie like Cat Woman or The Avengers where I could use my athletic skills.

How can fans keep in touch with you?
I post all my work and future projects on my Facebook page Catrinel Marlon. That’s how I keep in touch with my fans also and I respond to them as often as my time allows me to.

The show is a spinoff of Girlfriends and was actually canceled by the CW in 2009 but was picked up again by BET in 2010.

Originally a PA on the show Girlfriends, Barry Floyd was asked to stand in during rehearsal and was noticed by a casting director which is how he ended up on The Game.

This is exactly why I stand around on studio sets. One day, I’m going to be asked to stand in instead of being escorted out. It’s gonna be my big break just like it was with Barry.

For people not familiar with The Game and your character on the show, can you describe both in two sentences or less?
The Game is a sitcom/dramedy that explores the lives and relationships of football players as they deal with the game they play on the field as well as the game of life. My character Tee Tee is the best friend of the team’s quarterback, Malik Wright.

How did you end up on The Game? Did you just fall into it?
I was a production assistant on the show Girlfriends which was created by Mara Brock Akil who also created The Game. I was asked to stand in during a rehearsal for one of the actors who wasn’t there. The casting director of The Game saw me in rehearsal, thought I was funny and asked if I would be interested in auditioning for the part of Tee Tee.

What’s it like for black actors in Hollywood or any minority actors for that matter?
Acting is a tough, competitive business for everyone involved, regardless of race or gender. There are way more actors in Hollywood than there are jobs to go around and more actors come to town every day. It requires a thick skin and a lot of patience.

Does the same hold true for non-acting jobs in the industry? Writers, producers, etc.
Yes.

Is there a casting couch for men?
Probably. But I don’t know anything about it.

Do you attribute any of what you’ve accomplished to a little bit of luck combined with a lot of hard work?
Yes but mostly hard work. You’re setting yourself up for failure in this business (and most others) if you are relying primarily on luck.

Did you always want to act? What did you study at Temple University?
No I never wanted to act before. I got a degree in Film and Media Arts from Temple and moved to LA to be a screenwriter. I kind of fell in to acting and discovered that I had a passion for it.

You also write for a sketch comedy webseries called Purple Stuff TV. Which do you like more? Acting or writing?
Most people know me as an actor because of The Game but I am able to both act and write on Purple Stuff TV. I love both but, if you put a gun to my head, I guess I would have to say writing since that was my original reason for moving to LA.

Is comedy something you’ve always wanted to do?
No. I’ve just always wanted to write. I never thought to focus on any single category.

Tell us your favorite joke. No pressure. Just kidding. It better be good.
A priest, a rabbi and a Buddhist monk walk in to a bar. The bartender looks at them and says, “What is this a joke?”

Have you ever used the line, “Do you know who I am?”
No. If you have to ask they either don’t know or they know and they don’t care.

You have a choice to work with three actors: Tina Fey, Arnold Schwarzenegger or Michael Shannon. Who do you choose?
All of them! I’m not a big enough star yet to turn down a job.

Favorite movie as a kid? Go!
Rocky. The ultimate underdog story.

Bronies (reference). Cool or weirdos?
To each his own. I don’t judge. It’s not for me though.

Do you have anything on your plate apart from The Game and Purple Stuff? Any upcoming projects?
I’ve been doing a lot of voice over work lately. Mostly commercials right now but I’m working my way up to cartoons and video games. Also I’m always auditioning for the next acting job. It never stops and you can’t afford to get too comfortable.

How can fans keep in touch with you?
Erika is also a Monster Energy spokesmodel. Here she answers a few questions about her past, present and future and even a few hypotheticals. One of which includes me magically appearing next to her. She doesn’t admit it, but there was a real connection there.

Were you discovered or did you have to go around auditioning?
I have been wanting to be a model and actress since I was 4 years old. A friend dared me to submit some shots to FHM magazine and that’s how I got my start. Shortly after, I landed my first tv role on the Disney Channel.

You’re a Monster Energy Drink spokesmodel. Do they just send you cases and cases of energy drinks?
Monster is one of the best companies to work with and they take good care of their girls. Let’s just say I am never lacking energy. Plus, they always lace me up with some sick Monster gear.

You’ve been in a few music videos. Who’s been your favorite artist to work with and why?
Justin Timberlake. He is so talented and charismatic. Such a great artist

You’ve also had a lot of guest spots on a few series. What’s been your favorite?
I always have fun when I am on set. My most memorable would have to be filming How I Met Your Mother. The entire cast was amazing to work with and you can tell they have fun working with one another. It’s like they’re a family.

Is the Hollywood casting couch real or a myth?
To be honest, I had no idea what that was until I looked it up. I didn’t know there was a term for it. Fortunately, I have not been put in that situation. But if it were to happen, I know that I am better than that. I would walk away and move on to the next audition. I would not have to succumb to those actions in order to get a part. My talent is enough

What’s the dating scene like for you? Go on any terrible dates lately?
I am pretty much married to my job. But I still go out when I get the chance to.

I want to ask a few hypotheticals. First one. Visualize yourself at the beach. Now see me next to you. You feel what?
Ummmm… Awkward

Next one. You are auditioning for a supporting role in a movie by a well known director with a fetish. He asks to suck on your toes. What do you do?
Simple, I get up, tell him to have a good day and walk out the door

Finally, a guy takes you out on the most romantic date you’ve ever been on and will ever be on but at the end of the night he goes to the bathroom and never comes back leaving you with the dinner bill. Is there a second date?
Sorry, I simply cannot see that happening to me, lol! The guy would be a complete moron not to come back.

You’ve posed for a lot of magazines. Is there a holy grail magazine for you?
Harper’s BAZAAR. I love high fashion shoots and their covers are pretty killer

Is there something you wouldn’t do for a shoot? A line you wouldn’t cross?
I absolutely love doing photo shoots and I am most happy when I am in front of the camera. I wouldn’t do anything that would upset my parents. They raised me well enough to uphold my morals and values, while still enjoying being a girl.

Do models get along or is there always tension in the air?
I am pretty easy to get along with. I know a lot of girls in this business and I am happy whenever they accomplish something new. This business is tough enough for us to be tearing each other down. I believe the energy you put out is the energy you get back

Were you ever bullied growing up?
Kids will always find a reason to bully and pick on other kids. When I was little, I always got picked on for having big eyes, which is ironic considering that my eyes are one of my favorite features and I get compliments on them now that I am older. Unfortunately in this day in age, it is a more serious issue and kids need to be more aware of what they say to their peers.

Do you have any projects coming up in the near future?
I’m always up to something. I like to keep busy. Keep up with me and stay tuned for more!

Here’s the red band trailer in case you missed it.

Emilia, a Canadian, takes some time to talk to us about her life, how she got onto the new series and everything in between. She also betrays her own country by picking carne asada fries over poutine. For shame.

Do you like scary movies?

I do! I love a good scary movie at a sleepover that makes everyone jump!

What’s your favorite scary movie? You have to have a favorite? (Sorry, I’ve always wanted to put in a Scream reference)

I love The Blair Witch Project because of its realistic aspect to it, which is really important in a horror movie or else it’s not believable and ruins the whole purpose of a horror movie. I recently, also loved Cabin in the Woods for its comic relief aspect. I thought it was super creative and brought uniqueness to it, which Hemlock Grove also does with mine and my twin’s character.

Is Hemlock Grove more along the lines of Supernatural or is it more graphic like True Blood?

Hemlock Grove is definitely graphic and out there. I’ve actually heard it described as Harry Potter meets 50 Shades of Grey. But honestly, it’s nothing like anything else in its genre. Hemlock Grove is unique and a new take on something we’ve seen a lot of in other shows.

How did you end up cast as Alyssa Sworn in the show?

I was called to audition in Toronto for Eli Roth, the director. After that, I was called in for a chemistry test to find my fraternal twin!

What was the experience like?

It was an amazing experience! It was my first time doing anything in this genre and it was so fun! I definitely would love to continue doing productions of this type!

We have werewolves, vampires, warlocks, etc. What’s your favorite out of all the supernatural beings? Why?

I’m going to have to say werewolves; got to stick to the Hemlock Grove roots. Plus, who doesn’t like a hunky guy who turns into a wolf??

Do you have a Netflix subscription?

Of course I do! Everyone better have one by Friday! ;)

Have you watched House of Cards? What did you think?

I have! Kevin Spacey is incredible! He brings such a unique vibe to the show. He reminds me so much of my high school drama teacher; it’s like watching him act on my computer screen; it’s weird, in a good way.

There seems to be more actors coming from Canada these days. Why? Is there something in the water over there?

That’s simple; Canadians are the bomb. We’re just too nice.

Are you planning on acting full time or are you going to go to university? What do you want to study?

I do plan on going to university. Obviously, looking into studying performance acting or film studies. I’m thinking Ryerson University in Toronto or NYU. It has to be in a big city; I like to party.

Cooler job: Actor or professional hot dog eater?

HOT DOG EATER. Obviously.

Better late night snack. Poutine or carne asada fries (french fries, carne asada, guacamole, sour cream and cheese dish)?

I’m going to go with the carne asada fries; get in touch my Latina side.

Five words or less: Why should we watch Hemlock Grove?

Emilia McCarthy is in it.

What’s next for Emilia McCarthy?

I’m hoping to continue with this crazy and amazing career! I have a YTV web-series coming out called Unlikely Heroes and another web-series, that’s still in pre-production called Kid’s Town. They’re both quite different than Hemlock Grove; they’re more of light, fun, family type shows. I’m also very excited about those!

If you want to keep in touch with Emilia, you can follow her on Twitter.

Here she takes a moment to answer a few questions. Sure, she may have gotten some of the answers totally wrong (perfect guy, favorite after hours food) but I’m willing to give her pass on those.

How did you first get into modeling?

I started off doing bikini competitions in Toronto and I was the girl Next Door in The Shaggy Video, It Wasn’t Me. I won a pageant for Toronto for Venus Swimwear and went down to Florida to compete in the nationals.

What was the experience like when you first started? Was it difficult to book jobs? How did it eventaully all come together?

No I was booking a lot of music videos in Canada and was getting flown to other destinations to shoot music videos. When you are competing in swimsuit competitions and you lose, it’s hard on the ego, but you get back up and keep going. I just kept on pursing my dream and realized that I could only go so far in the industry in Canada.

If you were to compare yourself to any model, who would it be?

I’m more of an Enigma. I really can’t compare myself. Which is a good thing. I am Producing/Hosting/Acting. My journey has been like no other. That’s what my lawyer said oh and my MOM :) he he

Who has been your favorite artist to work with?

I would have to say Russel Brand. He is so funny and down to earth. He creates his own scenes and to see someone that free is great. He doesn’t think. He performs and is present.

What’s been your favorite shoot since you’ve started modeling?

Location wise I would have to say Jamaica. We stayed at four different resorts. We had chefs flown in, MMA Fighters so forth. Was def. a dream. In terms of magazines, I would have to say J’adore Magazine. They depict ethnic women in a positive light and I’m very proud of them for that. We definitely need more of that in today’s society.

How about your worst modeling gig?

Ummm.. Trying to get me to jump out of a cake for a kids Bar Mitzvah… really!?! lol

Are you willing to try anything in terms of modeling? Say a photographer wanted to shoot a real bear chasing you but the bear was real friendly and de-clawed but still had its teeth.

Sure. I like big furry creatures. Anything for modeling. Never done nudity and now I will only shoot for magazines that are classy yet sexy.

How do you keep in shape? A regular workout or do you like to mix it up?

I worked out at the wonderful Equinox Century City. Love my gym. I take a million different classes from Yoga to Boxing to Pilates.. I also like to run on the beach.

Do you even lift? (For reference)

I love that video. That was so funny. It’s interesting how some people handled such a negative comment and turned it into a challenge/positive – rather than wanting to start a fight.

Yes I lift a little but I like having chicken arms. I’m a girl!

What’s the fastest way to your heart? Is it food? Can it be food?

YES I LOVE FOOD. I am in a school called EATZLA where I get to make 7 different gourmet dishes a night and drink as well. Hehe. I love Morton’s of Chicago, Koi, Osteria Mozza and Hooters! Yes, for the chicken wings!!

If a guy were to ask you out, how should he do it? Please let it be “act real awkward.”

I love surprises. I love a guy that is romantic and yes I love a guy that is a bit awkward or nervous the cute shy type.

Speaking of guys, do you have a typical guy you’re attracted to or can even, I’m just throwing this out there, the palest blogger living in his mom’s basement have a chance as long as he’s extremely charming?

Nope the palest blogger living at moms’ doesn’t have a chance not going to lie. I want someone that I can learn from. Someone that I feel amazing with and want to spend every moment with. Ambitious, sexy, driven, successful, confident. I like a guy that shows me a lot of attention and wants to give US his all.

Worst/most awkward date?

The date started off with a Groupon Coupon, then he said, “Whoever runs to the meter first doesn’t have to pay for parking.” Then the movies where he tried to steal a bag of empty popcorn so he could get a free refill. And no I”m not kidding.

Favorite after hours food: Poutine, Danger Dogs or Carne Asada Fries?

POUTINE… I’M CANADIAN!

Do you have any projects coming up in the near future?

A series I co-produced/hosted is being edited as we speak. It is called, “SuperModelShowdown, The Beauty Within 2013.” It is a 8 episode series that is produced in Congo Bongo Costa Rica. It’s America’s Next FHM Model meets Survivor. I am the host/co-producer. I am also creating another series entitled, “Cooking with Celebs,” at EATZ LA Culinary School. It’s about fans teaming up with their fav celeb, drinking, cooking and creating some amazing dishes and challenges. The proceeds go to a charity of their choice. I will be on the Cover of a New Magazine entitled, “SEXEE.” It is dedicated to positive, successful, classy women in the industry. I’m also attached to play roles in Soul Eater and Crimson and Saints.

He now stars in the return of One Life to Live on Hulu. Here he talks life before OLTL, during OLTL and after OLTL.

How is it transitioning from Disney to Broadway to One Life to Live?

I’ve always wanted to tackle all facets of the performing arts in my career. I’ve been able to work in modeling, commercials, film, television, music, touring, and Broadway. Being able to work on One Life to Live is a great opportunity to learn another form. I’m happy to be able to be a part of such a veteran show and put my stamp on a piece of television history.

I read you took ballet as a kid. Have your ballet classes ever come in handy either on set or in the streets. Like, have you ever needed to defend yourself using only the power of dance?

Just as a pianist traditionally starts learning finger exorcises by playing classical music, a dancer of any genre should have a solid classical background. I’ve learned that ballet is the foundation of strength and discipline needed to dance hip-hop, ballroom or any more contemporary styles. I’ve studied with Debbie Allen along with many other various incredible teachers at her Academy. Those skills have absolutely come in handy over the years of working in theatre or musical projects like High School Musical. I would even say it comes in handy in my personal life just dancing for fun at clubs or doing one of my favorite hobbies, salsa dancing!

One Life to Live streams on Hulu Plus. What do you think of companies like Hulu and Netflix producing their own shows? Is this the future of distribution?

There’s definitely more leeway given to distributing projects online to make them edgier and sexier. And especially since the majority of my generation feeds on their information and entertainment via phone, tablet, or computer, companies like Hulu and Netflix will most likely be able to thrive. As for the original OLTL fans, as long as they can adapt to the switch, now they will be able to watch their show wherever they want, whenever they want!

Can you tell us anything about your re-occurring role on OLTL?

I play Jeffrey King. He’s an entirely new character to One Life to Live, which I’m excited about since I get to create him from scratch. There are two major circles where Jeffrey’s storyline comes to play. One is with the young crew comprised of Matthew, Dani, and Destiny. Matthew and Dani are his roomies and it has a very fun and humorous sit-com vibe. The three of them are always jabbing at each other and getting into trouble together. Then there is the storyline of Jeffrey’s work. He takes up a freelance gig at The Banner (Viki Buchanan’s Newspaper). Viki hires him as an advisor in bringing The Banner into the digital age. This is where you see who Jeffrey really is. Smart, quick, and eager. He has a very strong personality when it comes to his work and is one of the only people who isn’t afraid to tell Viki what she truly needs. It’s a great dynamic that the show has never really seen before and the two of them have a mutual respect for one another. I’m honored to be working with Erika Slezak who has become one of my favorite people ever! Not only am I working with a talented, hard-working veteran who has been on the show for 40 plus years, she is one of the sweetest most thoughtful people I’ve ever met in my 22 years of being in the industry.

Is filming OLTL pretty much the same as filming a network show? Is the atmosphere more relaxed or the opposite?

The pace and amount of shots per day is a challenge that I’m enjoying. We can shoot up to 100 pages a day as opposed to the usual 6-10 done in a film environment. I’m memorizing anywhere between 20-50 pages a day! I feel like I’m getting a great mind workout.

You starred alongside Kristen Stewart in Catch That Kid when you were both teens. She had just been in Panic Room and Cold Creek Manor. What was that like? Did you exchange any tips?

I had my 14th birthday on that set! Did we exchange tips? Not so much. At that age there is still such a sense of play. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve always taken my job seriously, even at that age, but there is a freedom in the acting that isn’t so much methodical as much as young kids playing pretend. It’s a state I feel we are always striving to return to. The best actors are the ones who can find that spirit again coupled with the perspective adult life.

You were also in Galaxy Quest, which is amazingly funny. You were probably 10 or 11 when that came out. What did you think of the movie at the time?

Yet again, I was very young when I worked on that project. I was working with some big names: Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Allen Rickman, Tony Shalhoub… I may have seen movies that they starred in but I didn’t really understand the caliber of people I was working with. All I knew was I was having a blast! What 10-year-old boy wouldn’t want to play pilot in a life-size spaceship!

You’ve released two albums. Are you working on a third? What artists have inspired your music?

I’m not currently working on any music. I’ve been focusing on film and television right now. But I have a great love for music, and even more so performing live. When the right time comes I will most likely get back into it again. Michael Jackson, Lenny Kravitz and Prince have always been on the top of the list as far as my favorites. I’m a big classic rock fan, Led Zeppelin and Queen are my shiz! When I’m alone I listen to opera and classical, sort of my guilty pleasure, Pavarotti can be heard blasting from the kitchen when I cook. That’s my Italian roots shining through. I show love for my Jamaican heritage as well, love jamming to Bob Marley when the sun is shining. As I mentioned before I love salsa dancing, so Latin music is a big part of my life. And recently I’ve been bitten by the Dubstep bug!

Any other future projects we should know about? What are your plans going forward?

There are a few film projects, several of which are Horror! Nurse 3D and Monkey’s Paw. Actually just released another horror film that my production company was a part of called Scary or Die. Two more films to keep looking out for Sugar and Renee. And right now we are gearing up to start a campaign on Kickstarter for an anti-bullying film currently entitled The Day I Died. I’m really passionate about this project. It’s a subject that you see in the news way too often with serious repercussions for kids. Would love to put a spotlight on it in the film world.
