Hello So Amazing,Rather than bodybuilding (hypertrophy), I think you shluod work on the explosiveness and endurance of your muscles. In MMA you have to be fast, and you have to be fast round after round. So if you want to bodybuild a muscle, I suggest you bodybuild the HEART as your primary muscle. You will see time and again good strong fighters running out of gas. Many times you will hear fighters saying they wished they spent more time conditioning rather than muscle building.Nevertheless, I think you are headed in the right direction by increasing the muscle size of your traps and neck. The muscles in this area will help you to absorb punches better, you will hold up your arms for a longer time, and you wonb4t be afraid of breaking your neck while being slammed to the floor! (remember how Fedor got slammed by Kevin Randleman and nothing happened to him?)By the way, deadlifting is a great exercise for MMA because it works your posterior chain, and it helps you to develop strength throughout your body.Best of luck!Dan C
