Last Sunday saw Sean Penn win for Best Lead Actor in Milk, Heath Ledger win for Best Supporting Actor in Dark Knight, Kate Winslet for Best Lead Actress in The Reader, Penelope Cruz for Best Supporting Actress in Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Slumdog Millionaire win for pretty much everything else.

We also found out that acting is the most important profession in America today. The level of skill required to read lines off a script is on par with being a rocket scientist.

Also discovered was that Angelina Jolie is still doesn’t look too bad. It’s like every night she sucks the youth out of Jennifer Aniston. You’d probably find closets full of shriveled up Aniston effigies if you ever looked through her house.

On June 3, Hayden Panettiere won Best Newcomer at the Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year Awards. In post-award bliss, Hayden must have forgotten about the dress she was wearing and the dozen or so paparazzi swarming about with their cameras primed and ready for a money shot. They almost had it, but not quite. They were once again foiled by their arch nemesis: flowy dresses and modesty.

Lily Allen wasn’t the only one to attend Glamour’s Woman of the Year Awards. Although, she was the only one to get completely trashed and carried out. Kate Beckinsale also showed up. She might have won something or other, but that really doesn’t concern me. What does concern me is Kate was trying to find me for 10 minutes on the red carpet to no avail. Little did she know I was already at her home disabling her alarm and lying in her bed naked, waiting for her. Just call me Romeo or restraining order #940280. Whichever works.

Lily Allen attended Glamour magazine’s Women of the Year Awards last night with pink hair wearing a fancy dress adorned with images of a decapitated Bambi. She won the Editor’s Special Award and went on to get hammered until she could no longer walk. Lily had to be carried to her car by security at the end of the night. She was still clutching her award too. What a trooper. As is common among celebrities these days, she blogged about her experience in the hopes that her embarrassing moment will show impressionable young people that drinking until you pass out is bad.

“Oh dear. Last time I wrote here, I was defending my honour and dignity, explaining my innocence and also outrage at the press for insinuating my behaviour was embarrassing.

“This time I’m putting my hands up. I got very drunk last night, too drunk. It’s not cool getting that drunk. I feel awful and I have to thank my little brother Alf for getting me home safely.”

She added: “Kids, drink responsibly or you’ll end up looking like this – not pretty!

“Was quite fun though, from what I can remember. Need fry up now.”

I love how she tells the kids not to get completely wasted like her, but immediately follows that up with what an incredibly awesome and fun night she had. Way to send mixed messages. Next, she should warn them about marijuana and then describe how cool it is to be high and tell them pot got her laid. You know, put the fear of God into those kids.

K-Fed received the distinct honor of being named father of the year by Prive in Las Vegas. The club will award Kevin a shiny medal or plaque during a party he is booked to host on June 13.

Runners-up, Satan and the creepy guy who hangs around elementary schools, are disappointed they didn’t win, but are happy for Kevin. The creepy guy who hangs around elementary schools even said he would very much like to meet his kids to congratulate them.
