Earlier this month, Billy Bob Thornton had an awkward interview with CBC show Q. Thornton sat there being difficult when the host, interviewing him about his band, introduced him as an actor, something Billy asked him not to do.

Billy Bob went on Jimmy Kimmel last night and talked about it. For him, it was surprising that it was news. He said he does that all the time when hosts don’t adhere to his requests. One time he told a host that he had a metal plate in his head and received signals from Venus. He also joked that the interview “gave humpbacked geeks all over the world something to do for a couple of days.” Kimmel, of course, gave Thornton a verbal handjob, giggling over everything he said.

Hey, remember when Jimmy Kimmel was on The Man Show? Back when he used to be fun? Now he pretends he’s just like the stars he interviews. He’s like that geeky kid on the playground that agrees with the cool kids just to fit in. Brad Pitt could call him a raging sycophant on live television and Jimmy would laugh and say, “I am aren’t I? You are the man, Brad!”

After the awkward interview he did with the CBC’s “Q”, Canadian fans booed him when he and his band opened up for Willie Nelson on Thursday. Audience members took exception to the fact that Billy called Canadians “mashed potatoes without the gravy” in regards to their lack of enthusiasm at shows.

Billy tried to explain the comment was directed at the shows host, but fans didn’t buy it. Consequently, Billy’s Boxmasters have announced that they’re cancelling the Canadian leg of their tour.

A sad announcement for Canadian fans. Now they’ll never have a chance to pelt Billy with shoes, water bottles or any other heavy, blunt object. Who are they going to throw their loose change at now?

“Music historian” Billy Bob Thornton did an interview with CBC for his band The Boxmasters and it all went to hell in the first two minutes.

Host Jian Ghomeshi began the interview by introducing Billy Bob as an actor and screenwriter which made Billy pissy because he requested not to mention anything about acting as Jian would later find out. The first couple of questions Billy just said he didn’t understand the host’s questions.

Later on when he’s asked about his musical influences, the stick gets wedged further into Billy’s ass and he goes into a story about plastic monsters and entering some contest.

Finally, he tells Jian he’s pissed that he mentioned his acting career when he told producers not to talk about it. And just for that, Billy took his metaphorical ball home by not playing with the band and denying everyone his cosmic cowboy singing.

This proves once again celebrities are spoiled little princesses. If they don’t get their way, they just sit there huffing. Five minutes into it, it looked like Billy was going to kick the host’s shins and call him a meanie. Their fragile egos can’t handle anything. If someone told him his music lacked substance, he’d get all defensive and say “No, YOU lack substance,” and then slam his door so he could cry into his stuffed animals.

Late yesterday, PEOPLE reported that Tea Leoni and David Duchovny were divorcing and “have in fact been separated for several months,” which makes this coupley photo taken of them at the Czech Street Festival a lie. Knowing that David Duchovny recently went to rehab for sex addiction, one may think he is to blame. Turns out that’s not true. Thornton, a musician with his own band, has been seen with Téa at his gigs.
