As you may have heard, MCA died last week but much like Tupac, that won’t stop the Beastie Boys from releasing new stuff. New to us anyway. As you may have heard, MCA died last week but much like Tupac, that won’t stop the from releasing new stuff. New to us anyway.

Chappelle’s Show co-creator Neal Brennan uploaded the Beastie Boys in 2004 performing on a boat in the East River in NYC which was supposed to be part of the third season of Chappelle’s Show. That season never happened and the footage was never made public.

This footage is all well and good but what everyone is really waiting for is the announcement of a world tour by the inevitable MCA hologram.

The one-disc set (is one disc really a set?) features 3 lost episodes and an hour’s worth of bonus material from the third season. No word yet on the pricing, but I can give you a hint. It starts with “over” and ends with “priced”.
