For a guy who has a meme about how big of a badass he is, Chuck Norris sure comes off as a wimp in real life. A report by the Polish paper Gazeta says Chuck wouldn’t agree to Expendables 2 unless the vulgar dialogue was toned down.

“In ‘Expendables 2,’ there was a lot of vulgar dialogue in the screenplay. For this reason, many young people wouldn’t be able to watch this. But I don’t play in movies like this,” Norris explained. “Due to that I said I won’t be a part of that if the hardcore language is not erased. Producers accepted my conditions and the movie will be classified in the category of PG-13.”First Showing

So Chuck Norris can punch a guy in the throat and  maybe shoot him in the face but he can’t say “f**k” while he does it. Makes sense. You wouldn’t want kids to get the wrong impression. You can’t just go around swearing at everybody you kill. That would be rude.

Chuck Norris penned an article for World Net Daily implying he’s tired of all the pro-gayness going on in public schools and says these schools have turned into progressive indoctrination camps. He’s tired of hippies being hired to teach our kids tolerance and political correctness. Tell us more, cantankerous old man.

On Dec. 27, 1820, Thomas Jefferson wrote about his vision for the University of Virginia (chartered in 1819), “This institution will be based on the illimitable freedom of the human mind. For here we are not afraid to follow the truth wherever it may lead, nor to tolerate any error as long as reason is left free to combat it.”

But what should happen 200 years later when our public schools and universities avoid the testing of truths? Or suppress alternate opinions because they are unpopular or politically incorrect? Or no longer tolerate opinions now considered errors or obsolete by the elite? What happens when sociopolitical agendas or scientific paradigms dominate academic views to the exclusion of a minority even being mentioned?

What happens when the political and public educational pendulum swings from concern for the tyranny of sectarianism in Jefferson’s day to secularism in ours? What happens when U.S. public schools become progressive indoctrination camps?

Dr. Jim Nelson Black, founder and senior policy analyst of the Sentinel Research Associates in Washington, D.C., wrote an excellent book, “Freefall of the American University.” In it, he documents the clear biases pervading our public academic settings. Among that lopsidedness is the intentional training of students to disdain America, freely experiment sexually, forcefully defend issues like abortion and homosexuality, as well as become cultural advocates for political correctness, relativism, globalization, green agendas and tolerance for all.

One of the primary ways these educative platforms are spread is by recruiting and retaining faculty members who reflect and teach them. For example, citing from the polling firm of Luntz Research, Dr. Black notes that the 57 percent of faculty members represented in our most esteemed universities are Democrats (only 3 percent Republican) and 64 percent identify themselves as liberal (only 6 percent conservative). Moreover, 71 percent of them disagree that “news coverage of political and social issues reflects a liberal bias in the news media.” And the No. 1 answer they gave to the question, “Who has been the best president in the past 40 years?” was Bill Clinton (only 4 percent said Ronald Reagan).

Chuck must long for the days when kids could call other kids “faggots” whether they were or weren’t without being expelled and sent to tolerance class. What happened to the days when you could publicly humiliate your classmate who happens to be a little bit different without everyone getting on your back? How will our children become popular and well-liked now? These schools deserve a roundhouse kick to the face apparently. Chuck might as well have titled this commentary, “The Pussification of the American School System Written By Chuck ‘Change is Frightening’ Norris.”

Unhappy about being described as the manliest man ever, Chuck Norris has sued book publisher, Penguin Group, for a book titled, “400 Facts About the World’s Greatest Human,” which lists mythical facts about the now cult actor. Also named in the suit is Ian Spector who both authored the book and created two websites dedicated to making fun of Chuck’s tough guy persona.

“Some of the ‘facts’ in the book are racist, lewd or portray Mr. Norris as engaged in illegal activities,” the lawsuit alleges.

“Defendants have misappropriated and exploited Mr. Norris’s name and likeness without authorization for their own commercial profit,” said the lawsuit.

The suit, filed in Manhattan federal court, seeks unspecified monetary damages for trademark infringement, unjust enrichment and privacy rights.
