If you didn’t know, Chronicle is different from your everyday superhero movie. Sure, three kids get superpowers but unlike Clark Kent or Peter Parker, they don’t get all “I’m going to save the world about it.” Instead, they use it for what any high school kid would use it for. Causing havoc. Anyway, it’s releasing on DVD and BluRay May 15 and now’s your chance to win a copy.

First, some background on the film if you don’t know.

Take an extraordinary journey with three teens who uncover a power greater than anything they’ve ever imagined. Up-and-coming actors Dane DeHaan (“True Blood”), Alex Russell (Almost Kings) and Michael B. Three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to their developing uncanny telekinetic powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control as their darker sides begin to take over. What starts out as fun and games quickly becomes dangerous and they must face the inevitable question of whether they can handle the responsibility that comes with their remarkable powers.

I know you stopped reading at Stephen Dorff and did a double take. That’s right. This movie has f**king Stephen Dorff. Actually, Dorff, aside, this movie was actually enjoyable. Plus, Freida Pinto looks pretty hot throughout.

After moving to San Francisco, the middle-aged New Yorker, Harvey Milk, became a Gay Rights activist and city politician. On his third attempt, he was elected to San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors in 1977, making him the first openly gay man to be elected to public office in the USA. The following year, both he and the city’s mayor, George Moscone, were shot to death by former city supervisor, Dan White, who blamed his former colleagues for denying White’s attempt to rescind his resignation from the board.

Mr. Milk had been the subject of several books and the Academy Award-winning documentary feature, The Times of Harvey Milk (1984); but Milk (2008) is the first fictional feature to explore private aspects of the man’s personal life and career.

Milk was filmed on location in San Francisco. Many of Mr Milk’s real-life surviving friends and former associates participated in the making of this film, several appearing on camera.

The Duplass brothers have a new movie called Baghead opening and you can probably guess what it’s about. A guy with a bag over his head. Actually, the description says:
