Daniel Radcliffe arrived at the BBC Radio Studios to promote his new film Woman in Black. Although, I’m not sure if he’s happy about doing it or not. If I had to describe his expression here, it’d have to be “strained enthusiasm.”

In the new issue of British GQ, Daniel Radcliffe admits to developing a drinking problem during the filming of Harry Potter to cope with his early success.

Radcliffe started drinking whiskey during production of 2009′s Half Blood Prince but managed to avoid any incriminating paparazzi shots.

“I became reliant on [alcohol] to enjoy stuff … There were a few years there when I was just so enamored with the idea of living some sort of famous person’s lifestyle that really isn’t suited to me.”

“I really got away with that because there were so many instances when a paparazzi shot like that could have been taken,” he told the magazine. [EW]

He quit once he realized not everyone could be like Charlie Sheen.

“There’s no shame in enjoying a quiet life,” he said. “And that’s been the realization of the past few years for me … As much as I would love to be a person that goes to parties and has a couple of drinks and has a nice time, that doesn’t work for me. I’d just rather sit at home and read, or go out to dinner with someone, or talk to someone I love, or talk to somebody that makes me laugh.”

A celebrity enjoying a life of quiet dignity? Does. Not. Compute. Guaranteed if Paris Hilton read this, she’d burst out laughing while rubbing her bald vagina over a reporter’s head.

Asked about the make-out session he had with Emma Watson in the new Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows film opening Friday, Daniel Radcliffe said it was not as he expected, saying Emma kissed “like an animal.”

“I thought it was going to be like a soft, sensual sort of moment, and it was this very vigorous kissing scene,” said Radcliffe.

“It was very awkward,” Watson said on the red carpet. “[Radcliffe] was a gentleman about the whole thing. We were both very nervous. ”

Rupert Grint didn’t get to see the actual kiss on set because he was too distracting to Watson since he couldn’t stop laughing.

“Emma sent me out,” Grint said. “It was quite animalistic, really, when you see it on screen.”

Sounds like Emma learned how to kiss by watching Jessica Simpson eat a pie.

Eager to shed his good boy image, Daniel Radcliffe is considering a tattoo. Daniel says him, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint all want to get inked to commemorate finally ending the Harry Potter series.

“I don’t know what our tattoo would be. I definitely do want to get some tattoos, but I don’t know if I would rush out to get something Harry Potter-related.”

He laughed: “Let’s face it, I’m going to have this for the rest of my life anyway as it is. I want something I can grow into over the years.”

May I suggest a kickass owl with a few random Chinese characters? All the cool kids are doing it and it would make you look like a real badass because owls are badass. They can turn their heads 180 degrees and poop fur. If that’s not reason enough, then I have failed tricking you into putting permanent regret on your body.

Daniel Radcliffe is preparing for the musical ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’ and says now that he’s single, he just wants to bang a lot of Broadway dancers. A commendable goal. Daniel tells Dazed & Confused:

“I’ve been in relationships from the age of 14 and now I’m single. I said to a friend the other day, ‘Dude, I’m doing a show with dancers. I’ve got to be single.’

“He was like, ‘Don’t sleep with anyone in your own show. That’s a mistake.’ It’s good advice. But I’m not sure I’ll stick to it.”

Is there any reason to be in a Broadway musical other than to hookup with the dancers? Unless you want to make new friends to crimp your hair while you complain about your boyfriend and to tell you those ass-less chaps don’t make you look fat as you prance around the room like a fairy, then no, I don’t think so.

In startling news today, Daniel Radcliffe revealed Justin Bieber isn’t a woman. Wait, you mean she’s he’s not? I always thought Bieber was famous because of his Chaz Bono-esque life story. Please. Explain.

Which leads us into some unfamiliar territory, as Dan might be the last person on US soil who only just heard of Justin Beiber. “I only heard Justin Beiber like for the first time like two weeks ago. I genuinely thought it was a woman singing. I’d never heard it before,” he admitted with a laugh.

Daniel Radcliffe, star of the Harry Potter films, turns 18 today and in addition to being able to gamble, drink in bars and see R-rated movies, he will now also have access to his $40 million. Despite sitting on a massive fortune, Radcliffe insists he won’t be wasting it on booze and cars.

“I don’t plan to be one of those people who, as soon as they turn 18, suddenly buy themselves a massive sports car collection or something similar,” he told an Australian interviewer earlier this month. “I don’t think I’ll be particularly extravagant. “The things I like buying are things that cost about 10 pounds — books and CDs and DVDs.”

This dude is weak. He’s got $40 million stashed somewhere. The least he could do is set aside $1 million and use that on strippers and blow. Then take $5 million to invest and hopefully make up that $1 million he wasted. Instead, he’ll spend it on CDs and DVDs. Whatever kid. You haven’t lived until you’ve pushed a naked stripper near death out of your car in front of a hospital and sped away.
