David Lynch took a lawn chair, a poster of Laura Dern and a real live cow to the streets of LA yesterday to promote his new film Inland Empire. Next to Lynch was another poster with the sentence, “Without cheese, there would be no Inland Empire.” When asked about the cryptic text, Lynch responded with “Cheese is made from milk. Cheese is made from milk.” Ok then. That’s completely normal. But so is taking a magic cube out of your pocket and trying to capture my soul with it. If Borat ever interviews David Lynch, it would be the most surreal experience of all time.
