As expected, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato both showed up to Fox’s upfront presentation to be introduced as the 3rd and 4th X Factor judges.

“Britney was a no brainer,” Cowell said. “We’d spoken a few times, and I’d heard that she wanted to make one of these kinds of shows – but never thought she would agree to it. We got on so well on the phone, it went very smooth in the end.” Spears was rumored to be in negotiations for a few months, finally settling on a deal worth around $15 million.

“Demi, I’ve been a big fan of for a long time and always had a gut feeling she’d be great on one of these shows,” Cowell added. “Again, when we spoke we got on really well…and she’s troubled! SeattlePi

Who knows how smoothly this will go. Especially when every 10 minutes someone needs to calm Demi down after a contestant disagrees with her and she threatens, “What? I swear to god, I’ll cut myself,” and then punches one of the judges in the face.

Demi Lovato has officially become the 4th judge for X Factor. She’ll be joining Britney Spears and original judges L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell. Both Lovato and Britney will be in New York today to be announced at Fox’s upfront presentation.

Where Britney represents the old guard, Demi will represent the new. At least that’s what I think they’re trying to do. It could also be they need to keep a couple backup dancers in check.

While Britney Spears and X Factor are hashing out details for her $15 million contract which has yet to close, producers are still searching for a fourth judge. Reports indicate Demi Lovato is the front-runner for the seat but hasn’t given an offer. However, also in the running, is Miley Cyrus who has been in talks with the show.

Avril Lavigne, LeAnn Rimes and Fergie are three others being considered for the position as well. Obviously Lovato and Cyrus are the two biggest names on that list and probably the top picks. Why? Avril Lavigne is hot but she’d get annoying in about five seconds, LeAnn Rimes is only good if you’re a Brandi Glanville fan and want to see if your voodoo doll actually works and Fergie will never be camera ready.

Demi Lovato says before she went to rehab for cocaine, cutting, bulimia and punching a backup dancer, promoters would plow her with as many drugs as they could so she’d come back to the club to be seen there.

‘Promoters gave me drugs and alcohol in restaurants or clubs. They wanted me to come back so I would be seen there. They were basically kissing my ass.

”I thought they were my friends. I thought I was having fun. Being a celebrity can be dangerous. Nobody says ‘no’. That’s why so many end up overdosing and dying. It could definitely have happened to me.” Contact Music

That’s where Demi Lovato made her mistake. People who give you drugs are called dealers, not friends.

Demi Lovato was a guest on NYC’s Z1000 radio station on Thursday and revealed the most “rock and roll” thing she’s ever done.

“I break things. I’ve trashed dressing rooms just for the hell of it,” Lovato admitted, adding that she once threw lunch meat on the ceiling just “for fun.”

“I like to throw things when I’m bored,” she explained. “I was trying to catch the deli meat on the ceiling. . . it ended up turning into kind of a food fight!”

She must have been so proud of herself when she said that. I practically put my hand over my mouth and gasped in shock. Did she later put a frog in her teacher’s drawer and when asked, “What are you rebelling against?,” did she say, “What’ve you got?” *Sighs*

Lovato also talked about how she’s doing since rehab saying it hasn’t been easy.

“I felt like a Kardashian. I wasn’t used to having cameras around all the time,” Lovato admitted. “It was out of comfort zone, but it was definitely an experience. It was for the better.”

“I cannot tell you that I have not thrown up since treatment,” Lovato said. “I can not tell you that I have not cut myself since treatment. I’m not perfect. This is a daily battle that I will face the rest of my life.”

Well, did she at least hook-up with Chris Brown to learn how to throw a proper punch? Because that would seem like a useful skill to have. Especially if one of her backup dancers gets uppity again.

Breaking news coming out of Demi Lovato’s camp. Sources confirm that Demi has definitely changed her hair color to blonde. Needless to say, we will keep you informed as this story develops.

And here are the rest of the stars at the People’s Choice Awards last night. Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Greene, Demi Lovato and Nina Dobrev were all there. I especially liked Kat Dennings. She really knows how to work a phallic trophy.

Demi Lovato is almost 20-years-old which is like 60 to Wilmer Valderrama. Hence, he dumped her. Lovato hinted at the breakup by tweeting a Marilyn Monroe quote. “A wise girl kisses but doesn’t love, listens but doesn’t believe, and leaves before she is left.” Minutes later she tweeted, “The smartest thing a woman can ever learn, is to never need a man.”

Wilmer couldn’t be reached for comment because he was busy waiting outside the Disney approved rehab center for another screwed up teen to bang.

Apparently one of the side-effects or rehab is losing your sense of humor because Demi Lovato took offense to an innocuous joke the Disney Channel aired on “Shake It Up” which went, “I could just eat you up… well if I ate.”

Demi, who left the Disney show “Sonny With a Chance” to battle her own food disorders/anger issues, went on Twitter to write, “I could just eat you up, well if I ate” – Disney Chanel’s Shake It Up…. What are we promoting here? #notfunnyATALL” and “I find it really funny how a company can lose one of their actress’ from the pressures of an EATING DISORDER and yet still make joke about that very disease….. #nice.” Demi also added, “Dear Disney Channel, EATING DISORDERS ARE NOT SOMETHING TO JOKE ABOUT.” The tweets can basically be summed up as “me! me! me! everything is about me!”

The PR department at Disney rolled their eyes, let out a loud sigh and farted out the apology, “We hear you & are pulling both episodes as quickly as possible & reevaluating them … It’s NEVER our intention to make light of eating disorders!”

Aw, calm down, tubs. First of all, this joke has been around in some form since the dawn of television. It’s actually one of the least offensive jokes out there. That is until an oversensitive celebrity twists it around to fit her own agenda and gets all uppity about it. Second of all, how do you know she had an eating disorder? Maybe she was on a diet and was prone to hyperbole?

Now, if in the scene the girl punched one of her backup dancers, cut herself, gained 20 pounds and THEN made the joke, that would be a different story.

I completely forgot there was a Latin Grammy Awards. Probably because every Spanish station I accidentally turn to blasts mariachi music at me all day. I just figured the closest thing Latin America had to music was Pitbull. But apparently Demi Lovato too. Who looked great braless in her plunging v-neck dress at the 12th Annual Grammy Awards at Mandalay Bay in Vegas on Thursday by the way.

Hold on, Latin Awards in Vegas? I guess it’s more about latinos/latinas who make music rather than music from Latin America. Whew. That’s a relief. My stereotype of Mexican music being terrible will not be shattered today.

Demi Lovato is a reddish-orange-head now. She tweeted a couple pictures of her new look and it’s not half bad. She looks way better actually. She’s set to go on tour to promote her latest album Unbroken so expect to see better pictures. Hopefully ones that don’t make her look bloated like an aspiring Kirstie Alley.

In other news, Demi wants to make sweet music with Selena Gomez. But won’t Justin Bieber be jealous? Probably not. He likes to watch. Demi recently said, “I would love to collaborate with Selena Gomez because I love her and she’s one of my best friends. It would be really cool to collaborate again.” Wait, we’re still talking about sex, right?

Remember how Stella got her groove back? Well I wish Demi Lovato got her eating disorder back. Wait, is that mean? Okay, then I wish Demi Lovato wouldn’t follow the same “I don’t give a f**k” diet plan Chrstina Aguilera has been following.

And if you’re wondering what that fat girl up top has to do with what I just said, it’s because that’s the new Demi Lovato grabbing water and gas in Sherman Oaks. That’s right. From this to that. This is like the exact opposite of every ugly duckling teen movie from the 90′s. Ugh. Look what you’ve done therapists. Teaching women to be comfortable with their bodies and stuff.

The problem with seeking treatment for body image issues is there’s a good chance you’ll end up working through them and start feeling comfortable with yourself. That’s when you start getting fat. In unrelated news, hey, it looks like Demi Lovato worked through her eating disorder!

At the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night when Demi presented an award, a bunch of people started using the hash tag #demilovato and called her fat. Demi decided to respond, ‘I’ve gained weight. Get over it. That’s what happens when you get out of treatment for AN EATING DISORDER.’

She later deleted tweet and wrote, ‘Guess what, I’m healthy and happy, and if you’re hating on my weight you obviously aren’t.’

Of course, nothing she said gave her haters pause because all they heard was, “oink oink oink oink squeeee!”
