Gossip Girl’s Ed Westwick seems like a really nice guy. He and some friends were drinking tequila shots at Zinc Bar in Chelsea where he engaged in pleasantries with a fan. Well, not so much pleasantries as it was telling her to get lost and then laughing at her. Hm, I guess if you put it that way, he seems like sort of an asshole. Per Page Six,

When a blond fan approached the crew, Westwick, who plays bad boy Chuck Bass on the CW show, snapped “Get out of here!” His friend then ushered her out of the way, one source said, adding, “They all started laughing. It was really mean.”

Westwick and friends then moved to Westside Tavern where he turned into a meaner drunk.

“He unplugged the bar’s iPod without asking, plugged in his own, but didn’t press play,” the witness said. “We yelled to turn the music on. He screamed back, ‘Who the [bleep] are you?’ We told him to chill, and he said ‘No, no, no. Who the [bleep] are you?’ “

In Ed’s defense, maybe he really wanted to know who the guy was and it just came out harsh because he was really excited to make new friends.

Or maybe not because soon after, he insulted a brunette who asked him to leave. Her boyfriend didn’t like that and yelled, “What the [bleep] did you just say?” The two took it outside where they shoved each other for a while and then left. “They were shoving each other. No punches were thrown. My friend’s husband pushed them a little bit and then they just took off.”

Wow. That confrontation just fizzled out. I’ve seen more exciting stand-offs at a Dungeons and Dragons tournament.

No one really knows who Ed Westwick from Gossip Girl is except for him and his big ego. At Los Feliz, some guy was taking pictures at his own table when Westwick threw a hissy fit because he thought the camera was pointed at him. Ed’s reps have denied these claims saying he dined there without any trouble.

“Ed came over and was like, ‘Stop taking my picture!’” says the snapper, who insists he initially didn’t even know who “Chuck Bass” was and was simply trying to capture memories of his own evening.

“He started shouting obscenities at me and getting in my face. He was all bitter and s—. I thought it was a joke.”

But it most certainly wasn’t: The amateur cameraman soon realized just how angry Westwick was (“He walked off in a cloud of disgust,” he says), but decided he wasn’t going to take the insult sitting down.

“I went over to him and asked him who he thought he was, and he dissolved into a fit of rage,” says the man, who continued taking pictures of his party.

Soon after, he says he was approached by the manager of the restaurant, who told him he had to leave at Ed’s request.

“Ed was snickering in the corner, because the people he was with had told the staff that I was paparazzi,” says the man. “So I paid my bill, and I left.”

I like to do this when I eat out too. It’s a good way to get a comped meal. Although it does get a little weird when they ask “Who do you think you are?” and I answer with, “Do you know who I am?” and we just keep going back and forth until one us gets fed up and leaves.

That headline basically says it all. TMZ says this “striptease went down at Ed’s girlfriend’s and fellow cast mate Jessic Szohr’s friend’s wedding reception in Milwaukee recently.” Uh huh…you’re sure there’s nothing you want to tell us? Nice way of shooting down those rumors, Ed.

He must be trying to prove something by stripping barechested at a party and letting some guy lick his nipple like a tootsie roll. No, really, he’s not gay. If you want even more proof, he’s then going to let some guy kiss him “down there”. Now, would a gay guy do that? I think not. Oh hello Chace. Didn’t see you down there.

Ed Westwick of Gossip Girl got two poorly chosen tattoos. One of a feather stuck in his shoulder. The other of a topless pinup girl on his right arm. The girls should be falling all over in no time.

As long as he’s into getting tattoos he’s going to regret, he should also get one of a penguin wearing a soldier’s helmet and firing a machine gun. That seems pretty cool right now, in your head, but definitely not in hindsight. It would fit his motif perfectly. [ONTD]

I’m not a big “Gossip Girl” fan (I am a big Leighton Meester fan, but the two can be mutually exclusive, I assure you). But from what I’ve seen, Ed Westwick’s character Chuck plays some pretty-boy foppish preppie who apparently gets to bang a ridiculous amount of rich-girl ass. It also turns out he may not be all that gender specific in his desires. Oh, heaven forfend! Let the not-at-all manufactured controversy begin:

Westwick’s “romantic” interest is up-and-comer Neal Bledsoe (CSI: NY, Guiding Light), who’s guest-starring in episode 6 as Josh Ellis, NYU’s head of freshman affairs. Since Josh is tasked with selecting an incoming student for the honor of delivering the freshman speech, he’s, shall we say, a person of interest to Blair. In fact, she’s so determined to snag the slot that she goes so far as to pimp out her boyfriend to the gay guy in charge.

I realize that “Gossip Girl” is written for teenagers who aren’t bright enough to keep up with the intricacies of “Twilight,” but c’mon. Is this boy-on-boy snogging still a big deal? Or maybe it’s some crass attempt to exploit the whispers that Westwick himself is gay?

The actor has repeatedly been forced to deny allegations he’s homosexual amid claims he’s secretly dating his TV co-star, Chace Crawford.

But the 21-year-old is adamant his affection for Crawford is only brotherly – and they have bonded over their shared love of women.

He tells Rolling Stone magazine, “It’s funny because I love this f**king dude dearly.

“I would die for this f**king dude. He’s my brother. But, by God, we are so into our f**king women it’s ridiculous.”

Dude. You’re 21, rich and famous. I get it. Girls dig you. Great, enjoy it. But, you know, maybe tone down the overcompensation a bit. St. Peter denied Christ with less gusto, and he was facing crucifixion at the hands of the Romans. You wuss.

A sad day for fans of Gossip Girl. The honeymoon is over for Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick. Chace is moving out of his apartment that he shares with costar Ed. They’ve lived together ever since they were cast together, but Chace is tired of Westwick always using his product and leaving pieces of bacon in it. Time to move on.

Chace has rented a penthouse in the luxe Dwell 95 building in NYC’s Financial District where he’ll no longer have to suffer the indignity of stepping on week old pizza and will be able to wax his chest in peace.

Ed Westwick, Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl, is getting fat. In Touch (via MSNBC) says this portly bitch has been partying too much and it’s beginning to show. His costumes don’t even fit and I assume that whenever there’s a sex scene the girl under him always complains about not being able to breathe. Come to think of it, maybe that’s why they never put him on top of anyone anymore.

“Ed has been gaining a lot of weight — not just around the waist, but throughout his whole body,” said an on-set source. “First, the costume department had to buy him new, bigger pants. Then, his shirts and jackets got way too snug. The costumers even requested that producers talk to Ed — they don’t want Chuck to be fat!”

They need to record that conversation. It’ll just be Ed getting his makeup done while munching on a bearclaw and a producer going up to him to shove a Slim Fast in his face. That or some intern, unsure how to tell Ed he needs  to lose weight, pokes his belly and says, “Giggle for me, Doughboy.” And if that doesn’t work, relentless humiliation by his peers should do the trick.

“This should put to rest those pesky gay rumors,” Ed told himself as he sashayed across the runway in a plaid man skirt.

Gossip Girl‘s Ed Westwick has been forever battling rumors that he’s gay and has been teased that he is gay for his co-star Chace Crawford.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Westwick said that making out with Drew Barrymore hasn’t helped dispel those rumors and he suggests that he might have to have sex in public to prove he’s straight. “That one’s still on the list. Still haven’t ticked that one off. Well, I have, but they haven’t seen me. Not George Michael public.”

And Ed then went on to profess his love for Chace Crawford.

“It’s funny because I love this fucking dude dearly.

“I would die for this fucking dude. He’s my brother. But, by God, we are so into our women it’s ridiculous.

“But what are you going to do about it? Get pissed off and stay home and cry about it?”

Maybe everyone thinks he’s gay because he says stuff like this. Most men only acknowledge their friendships with other men by recounting stories of them kicking their asses or publicly humiliating them. If Ed would have said something like, “Chace was talking to this girl one time and I asked him if that 12-year-old he has chained up in his basement was hungry,” that would have probably been better. For him, not Chace.

Drew Barrymore and Ed Westwick (Chuck Bass from Gossip Girl) were seen making out at Webster Hall during the Kings of Leon performance. Earlier reports claimed Drew was with Ed’s co-star Chace Crawford. That, however, was all a smokescreen to cover up the real relationship.

Following last night’s show, Westwick, wearing leather pants and pointed shoes, accompanied Barrymore to the after-party at Bowery Electric where the pair continued their PDA. Barrymore even straddled Bass — um, we mean Westwick — in a move not dissimilar to that time Serena did it with Nate on the bar. To be honest, the whole thing kind of hurt our eyes a bit, not least because at 33, Drew is definitely the Catharine to 21-year-old Westwick’s Marcus. Needless to say, he could barely conceal his smug satisfaction all night — and left wearing the same half-smile Chuck did after he bagged Blair that fateful night in season one.

What does this mean for you normal people? Nothing really. Just that Drew Barrymore likes them young. Drew probably brags to all her friends that it was the tightest ass she’s ever had. Granted, I have no idea what that means and neither do Drew’s friends.
