The 2010 Emmy nominations have been announced and Glee and Modern Family are among the favorites. Leading the pack is the HBO WWII miniseries, The Pacific. Which I’ve heard nothing about. Glee had 19 nominations while Mad Men had 17. For whatever reason, 30 Rock was also nominated. People must have been hitting the random vote button because that show is not funny. Oh, look at Tina Fey say random stuff. Teehee.

More importantly, The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien earned its first Emmy nomination. He’ll go up against The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, Real Time with Bill Maher and SNL in the Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series category. The Tonight Show With Jay Leno was not nominated because everyone hates that asshole. Popeater says NBC submitted Leno while O’Brien’s own people submitted his.

The Emmys were yesterday, but I didn’t even know so it’d be a safe to assume I didn’t watch them. I don’t even know who was nominated for what because I’m so out of touch with reality. Who am I? What is this? Why am I typing into this little box?

Regardless, looking through pictures today, I found out Blake Lively was there. God knows why, though. The day Gossip Girl gets nominated for anything is the day I eat my hat and I don’t even wear hats! So, it’ll have to be someone elses hat. What I’m trying to say is, god damn, forget about Blake Lively’s alien-like head, check out her breasts. They’re amazing. If she came out of a spaceship and told me she was going to kill me, I would get real excited and ask, “Is it going to be a sexy death?”

The Emmy Awards were boring. The only funny part was Conan O’Brien and this TV theme song montage sung by Josh Groban. His South Park and Will Smith impressions were spot on. I almost believed he was a fat, angry cartoon character and a young, hip black man. Plus, he looked like a complete dork flailing around and making awkward expressions while singing. So, it’s not so much that I was awestruck by Josh’s performance, it’s that I had a fantastic time making fun of him.

The 58th Annual Emmy Awards was on last night. As you may have guessed, I didn’t watch it. I know Lost didn’t get any nominations, so 24 won for outsanding drama, lead actor in a drama and director for drama. I had hoped I would get around to watching people watch other people win awards, but sadly I was putting a plastic bag over my head. Hey, maybe next year. For now, here are some pictures.

Some highlights include Lisa Kudrow’s wrinkly neck, Bai Ling looking like she was awaken from the dead, Katherine Heigl winning my award for biggest breasts at the Emmys, Tony Parker looking like a serial killer, Hugh Laurie looking like someone from the Adams Family. There were also some Bai Ling nipple silps in her retina burning dress, but I thought I’d spare myself from having to look at that.
