While Mischa Barton was being popped for DUI on December 27, her 19-year-old sister, Hania, tried to commit suicide. A bodyguard found her overdosed and rushed her to Cedars Sinai. The overdose was so bad, she reportedly suffered convulsions.

A source told the National Enquirer tabloid, “The family bodyguard found her obviously overdosed on drugs, called her mother, and then rushed Hania to the emergency room. The Enquirer also claims mini Barton confessed to overdosing on the muscle relaxer Soma; was treated for six hours before insisting on being discharged.

There’s not much to kill yourself over when you’re 19. Your life pretty much begins around that time. Sure, you’re not as famous, attractive or rich as your older sister, but, oh… I see.

Fun fact: SOMA overdoses are characterized by death, coma, respiratory depression, hypotension, seizures, delirium, hallucinations, dystonic reactions, nystagmus, blurred vision, mydriasis, euphoria, muscular incoordination, rigidity, and/or headache. All of which can be felt while watching an episode of The O.C.
