Two embarrassing Hugh Jackman stories in one day? It must be Christmas.

Hugh Jackman talked to Rachael Ray about the first show he ever did, Beauty and the Beast, and it turned out to be the first but maybe not the last time he urinated on himself in front of a live audience.

“The first show I ever did, singing and dancing, was Beauty and the Beast. I was playing Gaston,” Jackman, 42, tells Rachael Ray in an interview airing Friday. “Gaston has red tights, knee high boots, and it’s very physical. I had headaches everyday for two months. I went to an astropath [psychic] and he said ‘Well, you’re dehydrated.’ So of course [following his advice] I had four liters of water,” says Jackman of his 1996 theater days in Melbourne, Australia.

“I go down to the stage, getting ready for my first number…and I’m like I really need to go again. [The routine is] the most cardiovascular song I’ve ever done: literally I’m picking up Belle and as I pick her up, I stopped singing and right in that moment I realized the muscles you need to release in order to sing are the ones you do not want to release if you need to go,” the actor tells Ray.

“I’m carrying her [over one shoulder] not singing, and she’s going ‘What’s going on? What’s going on?’ So finally, it’s embarrassing at this point,” he tells Ray. “I’ve not sung an entire verse.” Us Weekly

This is why I wear adult diapers under my tights while doing physically demanding song and dance numbers and regularly do my kegel exercises. So I don’t embarrass myself like Hugh Jackman did. Bet he wishes he was wearing a fancy diaper that day, huh? *Scoffs, pulls up Depends, pirouettes*

Promoting Real Steel, Hugh Jackman talked about the time him, director Baz Luhrmann and Twilight’s Robert Pattinson karaoked together in a bar in Tokyo. The only thing is is Robert Pattinson didn’t want to dress up like a Japanese school girl with Hugh while doing karaoke. What’s up with that, Robert Pattinson?!

“I actually did karaoke with Rob. That’s random, isn’t it?” he said. “We were on our way to Japan, and he was promoting ['Twilight'] and I didn’t talk to him at all on the flight, because he’s this really tall guy with a hood over his head literally, and every time I’d go to the bathroom, I’d be like, ‘Man, that guy takes some serious sleeping pills,’ because this was him [slumps over] the whole time.”

But the twosome quickly went from strangers on a plane to friends at a bar. “When he got out, I was like, ‘Hey, man,’ and Baz Luhrmann was also on the flight because we were promoting ‘Australia.’ So we went out to this Japanese karaoke bar, and we invited Rob, and he came,” he said. “And it was so much fun. Man, he’s got a voice. Really soulful.”

Jackman expanded a bit on the night’s debauchery, revealing what really goes on at a Japanese karaoke bar, for the uninitiated.

“The first thing you do is you get inside this room, the doors are closed, and there’s, like, eight of you,” Jackman explained. “So it feels a little weird. And then all of a sudden, they open, and they bring in these boxes, which are basically [full of] dress-up [clothes], and it’s all girls’ clothes. I was a schoolgirl, Baz got dressed up, and Rob did not. He was too cool for school.” MTV News

I wonder if these bars are designed specifically for famous celebrities like Hugh Jackman. First they dress up like Japanese schoolgirls for an innocent night of crooning and the next thing you know, a video of them ends up in an obscure fetish shop in the Red Light District. It’s like the new tentacle rape.

Hey, Hugh Jackman. No one wants to see your chiseled abs, sculpted chest, broad shoulders and bulging biceps. Put your shirt on. You’re embarrassing yourself. Am I right, ladies? Ladies? Oh, okay. I’ll just wait until you pick your jaws up off the floor for confirmation then.

Hugh Jackman seems like an all-around nice guy. But looks can be deceiving. You may not know this but he uses his Adonis-like body for evil.

Look at him in these series of telling photos. First he jump kicks his own son (top), then drags his lifeless body to shore and finally celebrates with jazz hands. What a monster!

Hugh Jackman tells Hero Complex via Popeater that Darren Aronofsky, who’s directing the next Wolverine, said Hugh looked like a skinny dork and asked him to bulk up to be the short, stocky, powerful looking Wolverine everyone knew and loved. So that’s what Hugh’s doing by taking in 6,000 (!) calories a day. That’s almost 4 times the recommended daily intake. Jackman says he’s going for the Mike Tyson look.

“Right now, I’m at 210 [pounds],” Jackman said. “I was at 190 … and [Aronofsky] said with the last one, ‘Hey you looked great, but you’re so tall that in those long shots you looked kind of like Clint Eastwood, and that’s not Wolverine.’”

“[Aronofsky] said that Wolverine, in the comics, is powerful, stocky, you know, he’s short and thick. So he said, ‘I want you to go there, get bigger,’” Jackman said, adding that his new diet isn’t easy. “It’s 6,000 calories a day, it’s rough.”

“Sometimes [Tyson] was a full foot shorter than his opponents and bent over [with this] massive build … There’s real power,” he said, joking that this role may not be best for his health. “If I have a massive heart attack first, well, you tell everyone what I was going for.”

This is dedication. Tyler Perry or Martin Lawrence would have taken the easy way out and put on a muscle suit they had their assistants pick out from a costume shop.

Hugh Jackman has had a rough December. Two weeks ago, he almost lost his eye during a zip-line stunt on Oprah. Now, over the weekend, cricket player Shane Warne, Elizabeth Hurley’s then side piece now public piece, pitched a ball right into Hugh’s nut sack. I’m sure a bunch of chicks offered to nurse it back to health like a wounded bird.

Interestingly enough, this may be the first time I’ve seen a guy hit in the nuts on TV without either Bob Sagat narrating or a deep voice telling me this was “coming soon to a theater near you.” So, there’s that, Hugh Jackman.

True story. Before the show, Hugh Jackman told Oprah, “I would die for you, brother,” and Oprah said, “Okay, prove it.” Hence, this.

Oprah held her show at the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday with guest Hugh Jackman. Hugh was zip-lining in from the top sail of the Opera House but hit the brakes too late and injured his eye after running into a lighting rig. Medics rushed in but the injury was minor so they gave everyone the go-ahead to laugh at him.

Jackman made it clear that it was his fault and not the stunt team’s as he became distracted by the crowd. “I came down waving to everyone, looking over Sydney Harbor, saw my dad, the kids and you, went to pull the brake and then boing,” he explained to Winfrey. “Totally my bad.”

Who hasn’t become lost in the crowd as they zip-lined down at 15mph from the roof of the Sydney Opera House and forgotten to hit the brakes? Happens all the time. Coughidiotcough.

It’s a sad day for Tracy Morgan when he has to take his crazy cues from Hugh Jackman’s 4-year-old daughter Ava. Here’s Tracy at the premiere of Cop Out jacking Ava’s move and making it less awesome. Why can’t he be more original? Maybe a few awkward fist pumps will do the trick. Everyone loves laughing at a 41-year-old’s misguided attempt at looking cool.

If Hugh Jackman thinks he can sneak the title of World’s Sexiest Man out from under me with these beach workouts, he’s got another thing coming. I’m not going down without a fight. I’m already putting on my Speedos as we speak. This is war. I’ll be down there in five minutes and we can have a yoga-off. That’s right. Look at this. Who’s the sexy one now?! Guys? Hello?

Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig were in the middle of performing their Broadway play A Steady Rain when a cell phone went off and kept going off. Hugh stopped and told them to silence it. When it wasn’t silenced, Craig chimed in and told them to pick it up saying they’ll wait.

This isn’t as exciting as I’d thought it’d be. They told them to turn off their phone and they waited until they did. Boooring. The least Craig and Jackman could do is crack a few skulls with their chairs. “You gonna let them disrespect you guys like that?,” is what I would have said to instigate something. Then I’d start a “Jerry, Jerry,” chant.

If the chance arose, I’d probably offer myself to Hugh Jackman (no homo). He’s a manly man, with a caring compassionate side. Case in point.

Jackman, star of Wolverine opening today, spent $4,308.87 on 800 Arizona fans who camped outside a theater waiting for Wolverine to premiere the next day. That chunk of change bought 67 breakfast trays of bagels and muffins and 80 gallons of coffee.

What the hell? No orange juice, scrambled eggs, bacon and pancakes? I take back everything I said. You are dead to me, Hugh Jackman.

Hugh Jackman is “heartbroken” by the leak of a work print of his upcoming movie Wolverine. The same work print that Roger Friedman of Fox 411 downloaded, partially reviewed and was terminated for. The FBI and the MPAA have vowed to apprehend whoever made it available online, but as of yet, have made no progress despite the identifiers inserted into the film.

Hugh says this is akin to a Ferrari without a paint job, but doesn’t think this will affect actual attendance. He said this after being lowered from a helicopter on an aerial wire.

Whatever. If Gore Verbinski has taught me anything, it’s that you can’t catch a pirate. Even if you are given three chances. Plus, the MPAA doesn’t even understand what a computer is. To them, it’s a magical box that steals their money. If you asked them how one works, they’ll tell you that about 30 gnomes cast under a spell are stuffed inside to do whatever you command them to do. They’re still cursing at the mailman because he hasn’t delivered the e-mail reply his son said he sent him last week.
