Jack White and model/singer wife Karen Elson have been married 6 years so they’re celebrating their anniversary by getting a divorce. “Karen Elson and Jack White announce today that they are getting divorced,” the two say in a joint statement released by their rep. “We remain dear and trusted friends and co-parents to our wonderful children ...]]>

“ and announce today that they are getting divorced,” the two say in a joint statement released by their rep. “We remain dear and trusted friends and co-parents to our wonderful children Scarlett and Henry Lee. We feel so fortunate for the time we have shared and the time we will continue to spend both separately and together watching our children grow.”

The two of them are throwing a divorce party tonight in Nashville on the night of their anniversary to commemorate their breakup.

“In honor of that time shared, we are throwing a divorce party,” the two say in their statement. “An evening together in Nashville to re-affirm our friendship and celebrate the past and future with close friends and family.”

Hopefully the party will have some real cool games like “bang ’s ex-wife while sips on a glass of Brandy in the other room and becomes increasingly angry.”

A few days ago, a Coke Zero commercial featuring ’s theme song to the new James Bond film aired and Jack got all huffy about his music premiering on an ad. Today he might be a little happier because the full song complete with lyrics sung by White and was played on the radio.
