Janet Jackson partnered with Blackglama to sell a luxury mink pelt collection of 15 items including coats and gloves which will be sold at high-end stores. Suffice to say, fat chance of finding the collection at Walmart.

“The art of fashion is one of my great passions. I’ve worked for years to bring a collection into the world. Partnering with Blackglama is very exciting,” she said.

“When we began preparation for the second Blackglama campaign, Janet became very involved in the design process. The result was an amazing collection of Blackglama garments and accessories that reflect Janet’s tremendous sense of style and fashion,” said Mike McCrea, VP of Marketing for Blackglama.

However, this announcement has one dork in a tizzy. A long time fan was so disgusted by the news that he’s now decided to get a life. Sean Oltersdorf of Michigan was so upset that he’s eBay-ing his entire 25-year-plus collection of Janet items which include posters, magazines, photos and vinyl.

“I am a long-time Janet Jackson fan — or, I should say, I used to be. I am disgusted and have decided I want to auction off my entire 25 years-plus of Janet items and donate the proceeds to PETA,” said Oltersdorf.

Asked if he’s going to sell his Janet Jackson hair-doll he made out of strands of Janet’s hair he collected after sneaking into her dressing room during her concerts, he clutched Ms. Jackson to his chest and hissed.

Good news. Janet Jackson was at the pool in Italy the other day so if you were wondering whether or not she was alive, she is. Relatively speaking.

Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri broke up. Rumors of the relationship’s demise began swirling when Jermaine was noticeably absent from Michael Jackson’s memorial.

“You shouldn’t mix business with pleasure,” a mutual pal explains. (Dupri produced several tracks on her last two CDs.) “Janet felt their lives were too crossed and they should have kept things sepa­rate.”

Promoter, Kyodo Yokohama, blamed the recession for the cancellation of the Japanese leg of Janet Jackson’s Rock Witchu tour. The concerts will be rescheduled later in the year when the market to picks back up. Earlier, Janet had to cancel a few dates in the US due to “vertigo”.

Of course, the other, much bigger, reason is that concerts are decidedly less fun when the words from your favorite songs are replaced by loud wheezing and requests for more cupcakes.

Remember how Janet Jackson had to cancel a string of tour dates after checking into the hospital for migraines that caused vertigo? FOX speculates Janet may have been using her illness to distract from poor ticket sales.

But Jackson watchers speculated that she’d picked up an old trick from brother Michael. When ticket sales are off, or you just feel blue, claim illness. Michael has made more unnecessary hospital visits than any other celebrity besides his own mentor, Liz Taylor.

Even with Janet back on the road, her biggest problems are not resolved.

For one thing, she’s left her record label, Island Def Jam, after one release, the disappointing “Discipline,” which followed two flops in a row: “Damita Jo” and “20 YO.” Her departure from Island/DefJam could cause a problem in her personal life since longtime fiancée Jermaine Dupri heads up the R&B part of the label and was responsible for Discipline being so, well, undisciplined.

Janet’s problem is no one wants to listen to her music. Did she release a single this year? I don’t even know yet I’d still rather listen to deaf kids sing Christmas carols than watch Janet in concert. The biggest things to happen to her in the past five years was slipping a nipple at the Super Bowl and eating 500 cupcakes in one sitting. Which I suppose was an amazing feat, but people really don’t go to concerts for that

The affliction that caused Janet Jackson to call off a bunch of concerts after checking into a hospital has been revealed. The singer was treated for vestibular migraines which causes a sensation of vertigo.

“[Janet is] a world-class entertainer and needs to be at the top of her game to give her fans the show they expect,” manager Kenneth Crear said in the statement. “She’s feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again.”

Whatever. It sounds made up. They probably opened a medical book, flipped to the migraines chapter and picked a random, non-life threatening one. It is now my mission to find out the real reason she didn’t want to perform. Mark my words Janet. You’ll regret cancelling on me. I mean, your fans.

2 hours after checking into the Royal Victoria Hospital for a mysterious illness, Janet Jackson checked out. No word on what she had, but tomorrow night’s concert in Boston has also been cancelled. A rep for the hospital simply said she was treated and released. Could it have something to do with Jermain Dupri puking in her lap? Or just the fact that her boyfriend is Jermaine Dupri? Because that’s gross.

According to PEOPLE, Janet Jackson “got suddenly ill during the sound check” before her concert in Montreal. She was rushed to the hospital and is being monitored. The show has been rescheduled.

Sudden sickness? I think it’s lupus, but Dr. Gregory House insists, “IT’S NOT LUPUS!” Whatever Mr. Smarty Pants. We’ll see. How many times have you been right anyway?

Us Magazine says Janet Jackson checked into Cedars-Sinai for the flu. Janet’s rep denies she was hospitalized and tells PEOPLE “she’s fine” and “she’s just battling this crazy flu like everyone else.” Whatever. I’m sure poor Janet can survive. The simple fact is you don’t need to stay in a hospital for the flu. Jack in the Box gave me the gift of E. Coli from their hamburgers when I was a kid and the only thing the doctor did for me was inspect my vomit. Apparently, the best treatment at the time for E. Coli was to send me home to die.

What the hell happened. One month ago Janet Jackson was still fit. Now she’s a walking advertisement against diabetes and heart disease. I don’t even think Anna Nicole Smith suffered this drastic of a change. I might as well have put up a picture of a manatee. Not like you could tell the difference. And if you’re looking for a new hobby, try Janet Jackson tipping. I hear she screams funny.

The 2006 Billboard Music Awards happened yesterday. As you can tell by Fergie’s performance in the video, it sucked as much as you thought it would. She lacks both charisma and looks and decided to get drunk beforehand. When I listen to the lyrics I want to vomit. Boys just come and go like seasons? Conceited much? You usually find girls like this working in libraries or answering to some guy named Sugar Bear. Girls like this are also required by law to keep a bag for their head on the nightstand at all times. Janet also admitted Justin tried to reach out to her, but she has not contacted him. That’s just as well since you’ll never know when Janet’s roid rage would take over. I’m impressed she hasn’t sprouted a penis and mustache yet. Although she does have a nice set of abs and impressive muscles. Jermaine Dupri must be in heaven.
