On the anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death (April 5), Jared Leto released a video of him dressing up and playing the Nirvana front man. The short was made when Jared heard they were making a Kurt Cobain biopic. Jared wanted to “explore creative possibilities.”

I heard today was the day Kurt passed away 17 years ago. Can’t believe it’s been that long. So grateful for his contribution and inspiration. Not sure I’d be doing this if it weren’t for him. He gave us all permission to create no matter what our skill set and reminded me that dreams are possible. Thanks for that. This made me recall a short piece of film I shot when I heard they were making a film celebrating his life. I made it to explore the character and explore creative possibilities. I never sent it to the studio or to anyone but thought I’d share it now…

Meanwhile, Courtney Love celebrated Kurt Cobain’s anniversary by not shorting his ashes and getting into a fight with Kelly Osbourne. Osbourne jokingly called Love a crackhead to which Courtney responded: “This girl I know, Kelly Osbourne, I’ve saved her life twice,” ranted Love. “I’ve done CPR, I’ve put things in her boobs. [She was on] Oxycontin, cocaine, foaming at the mouth.” At least we know that quote is authentic. No one can incoherently ramble quite like Courtney Love.

Jared Leto posted this picture of himself topless on his website with the caption “real men wear skirts.” A far departure from when he looked like this but nonetheless a transparent ploy to show off his lean, cut, muscular, glistening… aw, crap. I almost got lost in his eyes for a second. I’m on to you, Jared Leto. This is like when I write on my puppy picture website “real men wear pink” and post a picture of me in a pink polo shirt twirling my 24 inch penis around like a cane.

Just because you attend the Dior fashion show in Paris doesn’t give you carte blanche to dress like this. Slapping a bunch of random clothes on yourself and styling your hair 10 feet in the air isn’t fashion. Jared Leto looks like a cockatoo incognito.

Remember that story about fans rushing to get a piece of Jared Leto only to break his nose? Turns out it might be false. The alternate version is even better. According to Page Six, the broken nose resulted from a failed stage dive.

Jared Leto suffered a broken nose and other injuries Thursday in El Paso, TX at a 30 Seconds to Mars show. When Leto ran into the crowd as his band played The Kill, legions of fans overpowered security and rushed towards him. Leto suffered a broken nose, a foot injury and superficial injuries to his face and body. After he finished his set and declared it to be one of their best of the tour, the makeup wearing musician checked into the hospital.

The first campaign of the We Hate Jared Leto and the Offspring of His Attention Starved Mind Club was a huge success. It was marred only by the “unintentional” angle reporters took. Believe me, three months of planning is not unintentional. Give WHJLOHASMC the credit they deserve. On an unrelated note, rearranging the club acronym gives you AHOCWHMLSJ. Amazed? We are!

Jared Leto was being an ass at Sundance on Saturday. He reportedly tried to pick fights with photographers and clubgoers in Tao at Harry O’s.

When a photographer from WireImage attempted to snap Leto’s picture, the eyeliner- clad cad shouted, “No! No more, bro!” Leto walked out – but not before a “big guy” yanked at his long tresses. Leto “whipped off his hat with earflaps on and stepped up to the guy,” said a spy. “They were yelling at each other.” But no punches were thrown. And though Leto left, he came back a couple hours later to look for the guy.

The only reason Leto didn’t throw down was because he didn’t want to mess up his pretty boy face. It probably took him an hour to get his mascara just right. Either that or he’s just a big pussy. It’s just as well because if anyone filmed Leto slap fighting with another guy his hardcore image would be ruined. Then he’d have to go all emo and cut his wrists or something.
