You probably shouldn’t be applauding that title because Joe Son aka Joseph Hyungmin Son aka Random Task from Austin Powers aka the guy who got punched in the balls over and over and over again by Keith Hackney at UFC 4 is serving life in prison without parole for raping a woman with a gun in 1990.

First, a quick back story. DNA evidence from an unrelated case in 2008 brought Joe Son to justice for the Christmas Eve rape case gone cold. He plead guilty in January to kidnapping, sodomy, rape, forcible oral copulation and forcible rape with a sentencing enhancement for committing rape while armed with a firearm.

Prosecutors in the torture case said the woman was walking back to her apartment alone with her dog after going to look at Christmas lights with a relative and friend and was stopped by Son about 12:30 a.m. on Christmas Eve 1990.

Son asked her for directions and then, with another man, dragged her to a car, threw her in the back and drove away.

Son and the other man told her they were driving to Compton, pistol-whipped her and repeatedly threatened to kill her.

Son’s cohort, Santiago Lopez Gaitan, 40, of San Antonio, raped the woman, prosecutors said.

Afterward, Son threatened to kill the victim and counted the bullets in the gun out loud as she pleaded for her life.

Son and Gaitan finally allowed the woman, identified only as Jane Doe, to leave, naked and with her pants tied around her eyes. The woman went to a nearby Huntington Beach home, where the residents called police. LA Times

He’s now the primary suspect in the death of his 50-year-old cellmate who was a parole violator sentenced to two years in prison for failing to register as a sex offender. Joe was the only other person in their cell at the time.

Not sure what this guy’s alibi could be as everything points to him killing his cell mate. His best bet is to point to something behind the police questioning him and run the opposite direction.

Joe Son, known to many as Random Task from Austin Powers and to others as a MMA veteran who had his balls repeatedly punched during UFC 4, has been charged in connection with a gang rape that took place in 1990. Joe Son plead guilty to felony vandalism back in May which required him to give a DNA sample. Investigators ran it and linked it to the unsolved crime. He now faces 275 years if convicted. TMZ says:

Son has been charged with five felony counts of rape, two felony counts of forcible sodomy, two felony counts of sodomy in concert by force, seven felony counts of forcible oral copulation, and one felony count of sexual penetration by foreign object by force.

Son, along with a second suspect, is accused of dragging the victim into the back of a car, pistol whipping her, threatening her life at gun point while he counted the bullets in his gun, and raping, sodomizing, and forcing her to orally copulate him repeatedly, according to a release from the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. Son is also accused of sexually penetrating the victim with his firearm before she was released naked with her pants tied around her eyes.

If anyone remembers, Joe Son made psycho entrances to the cage where he dragged a big cross on his back. He also invented his own martial arts system called “JoeSonDo”. It’s unclear whether gang rape with a pistol was part of his groundbreaking system. I’ve included a highlight of him up above. Enjoy.
