Joely Richardson has quit one of my favorite shows. And being one of my favorite shows, I had no idea Julia McNamara’s real name was Joely Richardson. Go figure.

However Miss Richardson has now stunned producers of the show by telling them she is quitting to return to the UK to care for her daughter.

She has revealed for the first time that Daisy has a rare medical condition which she was diagnosed with shortly after her first birthday.

The teenageer is due to undergo a series of operations on her legs after gradually developing circulation problems in her veins over the years.

Which is kind of a sad irony when you realize she gave birth to a handicapped baby on the show. Joely says she doesn’t know if she’s ever going to return to Hollywood, but producer Ryan Murphy doesn’t want to be without her for next season.

I learned something disturbing from this article. Joely used to date her co-star who plays Matt, her son on the show. The guy who looked a lot like Michael Jackson before he shaved his head. Now he just kind of looks like Michael. I’d be pretty skeeved to even sit next to the guy much less let him put his penis in me. Er, assuming I was a girl.
