The father of John Graziano, who you’ll remember as the guy who Nick Hogan turned into a vegetable, was today arrested for attempting to solicit a hit man to kill his estranged wife. Graziano tried to pay for part of the job with a $13.06 gift card. TMZ reports:

According to police, Graziano told an undercover officer posing as a “go-between” to a hit man that he wanted to have his wife Debra killed. Perhaps most troubling — cops say Graziano wanted her killed in an automobile accident.

Graziano allegedly paid for the hit with $1,100 cash, a $1,000 personal check and a $13.06 gift card to Westshore Pizza.

Yet another thing you can’t use a gift card for. First you find out they have an expiration date, then you find out your drug dealer doesn’t accept it and now you can’t even use it to pay off a hit man. Why even buy one?

I couldn’t find a good photo of his dad, so I searched for John Graziano and put up the first one I could find that wasn’t absolutely terrifying.

Hulk Hogan went on Larry King live yesterday to talk about his son, Nick’s, jail sentence and those recently released conversations he had where he called John Graziano a negative person. Hulk said the tapes were taken out of context and the media is obviously putting a negative spin on it. Hulk claimed Nick “wasn’t into drag racing, he’s into precision driving.” About the tapes where he believed John Graziano must have done something bad for God to punish him, Hulk said:

“I was trying to explain to him that it’s in God’s hands, in God’s will.”

“Did I say things wrong? Yes. I said them incorrectly.” He blamed it on being distraught and a lack of sleep and said he was “trying to give Nick some relief.”

People can only speculate on what John did wrong to deserve this. Nick was frequently pulled over for speeding, possibly endangering the lives of others and he made it out alright. John must have done something horrible for God to turn him into a vegetable. Like jaywalking or “sampling” a gummi bear at the grocery store. You know, crazy, danger-to-society type stuff.

Update: The Judge said this was no “accident” and sentenced Nick Hogan to eight months in Penellas County Jail starting right now. In addition, his driver’s license has been revoked for three years and he’s not allowed to drink, but that shouldn’t be a problem since he’s only 17, right? I’d feel sorry for Nick, but you’ll be surprised to learn I’m really against dumbass drunks who race their cars down the highway and paralyze people.

Nick and the rest of the Hogan clan arrived at Pinellas County courtroom where Nick plead no contest for reckless driving involving serious bodily injury. The Grazianos want Nick to spend a year in jail and Nick’s lawyer is considering it with 5 years probation. TMZ has a live stream going on and are live blogging it. Highlights include:

• The State wants Nick to admit that this wasn’t an accident. Moreover, the prosecution — through the family — wants him to do 5 years of probation and 500 hours of community service,
• And Ed Graziano continues, saying that he spends 10 hours a day at the hospital with John, and that John will spend the rest of his life with mental and physical disabilities. Hulk is peering over at the Graziano family. Ed says that when Nick went to the hospital to see John, he looked totally bored, and even shot dart guns and skateboarded around the hospital! OMG!
• Ashley says that Nick’s license plate COEHSP stands for “Capable of Eluding High Speed Pursuit.” Not anymore.
• The Hulk — Terry Bollea’s his real name — steps up: He repeats that John G. was “like a son” and that they went on family trips. Hulk says they sent John PowerBars to Iraq.
• Hulk busts his own show: “People think it’s reality, but it’s scripted!”
