After the debate yesterday, Barack Obama went to shake John McCain’s hand. McCain wanted none of it and pushed his wife on Obama. Burn! Shortly thereafter, McCain joked, “Here’s the sound of Barack Obama’s wife’s car when it won’t start,” followed by a loud screeching sound. Double burn!

John McCain canceled a scheduled appearance on the David Letterman show last night claiming he was suspending his campaign to solve our economic crisis. McCain told Dave he was on his way to the airport for a plane bound straight to Washington.

However, in the middle of David’s interview with Keith Olbermann, footage of McCain preparing for an interview with Katie Couric in the next studio over was shown. Awkward, but let’s be reasonable. It was obviously a McCain bot being interviewed by Katie, sent to do his bidding by the government while the real McCain was heading back to Washington to single-handedly solve our economic crisis. So not only is McCain a war hero, he’s my hero. *Swoon*

Earlier today, Heidi Montag gave her full support for Republican presidential nominee John McCain. Pratt told her to be careful on who she endorses, but in a moment of clarity, Heidi explained, “I don’t think anyone cares who Heidi Montag votes for.”

Seizing the opportunity to connect with America’s young voters (bwahhaha), McCain took time out of his busy schedule to thank Heidi for her support and says that he watches The Hills every week.

“I’m honored to have Heidi’s support and I want to assure her that I never miss an episode of The Hills, especially since the new season started,” McCain told Time.com’s Swampland blog in Pensacola, FL.

Whatever John. You’re sadly mistaken if you think pandering to Heidi is going to give you the chance to sleep with her. She’s not even going to let you touch her boobs. Does she even know who you really are? She probably thinks your name is John McClane and you’re Bruce Willis from Die Hard. Hence, all that unnecessary fawning.
