Julianna Moore hit up the premiere of Game Change at The Newseum in Washington DC wearing this green thing. She looks like the modern day evil queen who gave Snow White the poison apple. The only thing I can imagine after looking at these is Moore crooking her finger at a couple of kids and telling them, “Come here, my pretties.”

Julianne Moore has been cast in HBO’s Game Change to play former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. Directing the film will be Jay Roach who did Meet the Parents and HBO’s Recount. It’s the perfect marriage between slapstick comedy and politics which is exactly why Sarah Palin is so popular. People love to make fun of her because she’s an idiot at times. Most times.

Game Change is based on Mark Halperin and John Heilemann’s book about the 2008 presidential elections and follows John McCain’s campaign from his selection of Palin as his running mate to their ultimate defeat in the general election.

Danny Strong, who previously wrote the Roach-directed Recount, penned the script for Game Change. Roach is executive producing, with Strong co-executive producing. [Deadline]

Tina Fey would have been the obvious choice but that would have been too easy. They don’t want to make it seem like they’re just phoning it in. You have to at least make it look like you’re earning that paycheck.

Blake Lively is hot, but she’s still trying to get that acting thing down. Luckily, a good way to perfect her craft is to star in a film with Julianne Moore, Robin Wright and Maria Bello where she plays a subservient girl leashed up and asked to purr. Which is what she did for the role of Young Pippa for The Private Lives of Pippa Lee. Lively told PopTarts:

“It was an odd thing to do but really funny. There was a point when I was crawling on all fours and Julianne was like ‘purr for me’ and I thought ‘what am I doing with my life? I’ve finally got the most respectable job of my career yet I’m being leashed up and asked to purr,’” Lively told Tarts. “But Julianne is such a wonderful, kind and happy person so that made it easy to feel safe crawling around leashed up.”

Sure. When Blake Lively is filmed leashed up and on all fours being asked to purr, it’s a respectable job, but when I do it it’s “weird” and “unseemly” and I “shouldn’t be doing that in a court of law”. Gosh, why are you so judgy, judge?

Jesus H. Christ. What the hell is this? Julianne Moore looks like she was dipped in flour. She’s so white that people have to close their eyes when they walk past her or their corneas burn. Even the sun has to put on SPF 50 when she’s out. And I’m pretty sure the guy who took these pictures is legally blind now.
