Kirk Cameron was being all Kirk Cameron-y on Piers Morgan the other night. Kirk, a born again Christian, was asked what he thought about homosexuality.

This might surprise you, but Kirk called it “unnatural” and said, “I think it’s detrimental, and ultimately destructive to so many of the foundations of a civilization.”  Once again, nothing too groundbreaking considering who we’re talking about.

And as it turns out he’s not a fan of gay marriage either. “Marriage is almost as old as dirt, and it was defined in the garden between Adam and Eve. One man, one woman for life till death do you part. So I would never attempt to try to redefine marriage. And I don’t think anyone else should either. So do I support the idea of gay marriage? No, I don’t.”

Naturally, Herndon Graddick, senior director of programs at GLAAD, responded, “In this interview, Kirk Cameron sounds even more dated than his 1980s TV character,” And, “Cameron is out of step with a growing majority of Americans, particularly people of faith who believe that their gay and lesbian brothers and sisters should be loved and accepted based on their character and not condemned because of their sexual orientation.”

Adding, “With an increasing number of states recognizing marriage equality, Americans are seeing that marriage is about committed couples who want to make a lifelong promise to take care of and be responsible for each other and that gay and lesbian couples need equal security and legal protections. That’s not ‘redefining’ anything.”

He’s right. Who cares who marries who. All marriage is is a ring backed by a piece of government issued paper. Not only that, but according to Piers, 7 states have legalized gay marriage already and God hasn’t said anything about it yet.

Kirk Cameron, Mike Seaver from Growing Pains, told the Today show that he will not kiss any woman other than his wife even if it’s for a movie. Kirk became an evangelical Christian at 17.

“I have a commitment not to kiss any other woman,” he told the morning show. So his real wife, actress Chelsea Noble, was the body double for the onscreen kiss.

“So when I’m kissing my wife, we’re actually husband and wife honoring marriage behind the scenes,” Cameron told “Today.”

What a weirdo. If I was a married actor, I’d get it any way I could. This scene calls for a kiss on the cheek? Let’s make it tonguing and throw in a sex scene. It would really add to the story. Prepare for sexy times, baby. Afterward, I’d go home and tell my wife that I had to physically stick my penis in another woman because the scene didn’t seem “real” enough. All the while I would act all dejected and complain about how I have to suffer for my art. I’m such a tortured soul.
