Mel Gibson was cut from The Hangover sequel and replaced by Liam Neeson after cast members started whining about working with him. He was to play a Bangkok tattoo artist as part of his rehabilitation tour a la Mike Tyson.

Sources say Mel is frustrated that Mike Tyson, a convicted drug abuser and rapist, was given a second chance while Mel, a creative yeller, was not.

One possible reason may be that Mike Tyson spent a few years at the lowest point in his life and The Hangover was just an unknown comedy in need of stunt casting at the time but Mel’s tantrums are still fresh in everyone’s mind. Asking a girl to blow you first and threatening to bury her in your rose garden is the new putting a bullet in someone’s head and threatening to eat their children.

I can’t wait for Zach Galifianakis to play his voicemails of Mel yelling at him while doing promos for The Hangover 2. Although I can’t imagine Mel asking Zach to blow him. Unless he also demands Zach shaves first. But when Mel makes fun of Zach for his stupid looking tits, it’ll hurt more than when he said it to Oksana. “It’s glandular!,” Zach will cry to himself.

Liam Neeson’s wife, Natasha Richardson, died 18 months ago in a skiing accident leaving Liam devastated. Looks like Liam has finally moved on. The 58-year-old was seen leaving London’s Nobu restaurant with a blonde businesswoman named Freya St. Johnson (photos of them at the link, picture up top is Liam with Jessica Biel at the A-Team premiere if you were confused) on Friday.

It is believed Neeson met Freya, 36, through friends in the film world and has visited her modest flat in North-West London.

The property is a marked contrast to Neeson’s multi-million-pound home in New York, where he lives with his sons Michael, 15, and Daniel, 14.

Recently, neighbours have seen huge bunches of flowers regularly being delivered to Freya’s address.

The Daily Mail notes that Freya looks eerily similar to Natasha Richardson. That must be creepy to know she could double as her boyfriend’s dead wife since there’s always a chance Freya wakes up in the middle of the night to find Liam gluing strands of Natasha’s hair he pulled from an old brush onto her head.

At the age of 45, Natasha Richardson has passed away. To put an end to all the questions, Liam Neeson released this statement.

“Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

Natasha seemed like one of the few middle-aged celebrities with dignity and, yet, Sharon Stone and Pamela Anderson are still haunting this Earth without a shred of theirs. The world just doesn’t seem fair.

Natasha Richardson suffered a “traumatic head injury” in a skiing accident in Canada on the Mont Tremblant slopes yesterday afternoon. She was rushed to a nearby Centre Hospitalier Laurentien before being transferred to Montreal’s Sacre Coeur hospital. No further details about the injury were given. Liam Neeson quickly left a film set in Toronto to be by her side.
