The Avengers premiered in the UK last night and walking the red carpet were most of the film’s stars including Mark Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and, for whatever reason, Cobie Smulders.

Anyway, Scarlett Johansson looked great somehow making a polka-dotted rose-stamped dress work. It’s about two sleeves and shoulder pads away from a dress you’d find in your mother’s closet. Meanwhile, Robert Downey Jr. could have worn the same thing and still looked cool.

Mark Ruffalo plays the Hulk in the upcoming Avengers movie and during a roundtable with journalists, he talked about his frustrations with the motion capture suit he had to wear. In short, it made his junk look smaller than he’d like.

“Yes, and that was my first day and that was a miserable day,” he said. “It was smoky, it was hell and I felt really uncomfortable. I’m not well-endowed, and those suits don’t really show you off in the most…” HuffPo

Mark, being a master of deflecting attention away from himself, added that Scarlett Johansson wasn’t wearing underwear on the shoot. “They spray paint her suit on in the morning. But she looks good in it.”

Cries of “Mark Ruffalo has a small pe…” were quickly interrupted by, “Wait, what? What was that about Scarlett Johansson and no underwear?,” followed by intense drooling.

The trailer for the upcoming Avengers movie finally debuted on the web so now all the superheroes in those so-so movies you watched this year will be teaming up to give you even more mediocrity. The only thing I ask from this movie is Robert Downey Jr. not dial it in and more shots of Scarlett Johansson clad in leather standing in front of explosions for no reason at all. It’s just so cool, man! Even Michael Bay got an erection.

Mark Ruffalo’s brother, Scott’s, death has been ruled a homicide by the LA County Coroner’s Office. This is contrary to earlier claims by suspect, Shaha Mishaal Adham, indicating it was a suicide while playing Russian Roulette. A spokesman for the coroner said an autopsy confirmed someone shot Scott in the side of the head. Shaha’s lawyer still maintains her innocence.

“The only two eye witnesses to the shooting saw the same thing, a gunshot wound to the left side of the head, while one of them saw him pull the trigger,” Richards wrote in an e-mail. “They saw the gun in his left hand after the shot was fired.”

He said no gun residue had been found on Adham’s clothes and that police had not requested another meeting with her.

No motive has been discussed nor have any further statements been made since Wednesday.

Regardless, I have a few theories. Scott was a big shot hairdresser, right? Someone must have not liked what Scott did with their hair. Someone capable of murder. I don’t want to name any names, but I think we all know who I’m talking about.

A day after police ruled the death of Scott Ruffalo as accidental, TMZ reports that despite Shaha Mishaal Adham’s all too eager claim that “crazy” Scott was playing Russian Roulette, certain details about the case are arousing suspicion. For instance, people who play Russian Roulette don’t usually aim the gun at the back of their own heads. There’s also the matter of two loaded weapons being discovered at the scene and the 911 call being for an assault, not a suicide. TMZ continues:

Now get this — law enforcement tells us paramedics didn’t even know Scott was shot until he was on his way to the hospital. They say the wound was not apparent.

As for Shaha (who was arrested as a suspect but then released) and her boyfriend, Brian Scofield, they told us yesterday they have been “vilified” and the truth will come out, acknowledging there was a mystery third person in the apartment.

I have a gut feeling it was Professor Plum in the kitchen with a candlestick. Makes sense. That Plum always did look shifty.

Mark Ruffalo and maybe Amy Adams have dropped out of Greenburg, a film written, film and directed by Noah Baumbach set for release in 2010. Ben Stiller will replace Ruffalo. A search for Amy Adam’s replacement is underway. Us Magazine says:

It is unclear why Ruffalo — whose brother, Scott Ruffalo, passed away late Monday from a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head — backed out of the project.

I couldn’t figure out why Mark backed out either. Was it the money? Or was it the thing that Us mentioned in the middle of their report? Big mystery, people.

Prime suspect Shaha Mishaal Adham has been cleared of any wrongdoing in the death of Mark Ruffalo’s brother Scott. Attorney Ronald Richards gave the police evidence proving Adham didn’t shoot Scott. So how exactly did Scott die? He lost at a game of Russian Roulette.

“This was an accidental shooting by someone that plays with guns,” Richards said. He credited police with being “more than impartial with the facts.”

Pardon my insensitivity when I say, Scott Ruffalo was a gigantic retard. I didn’t even know people actually played this game. I thought Russian Roulette was a clever stereotype invented to make Russians look crazy. Turns out it’s very real and, now that I think more about it, I have to admit, a 1 out of 6 chance of death does sound very appealing. I mean, the converse is you have a 5 out of 6 chance of surviving. With those odds, how can you lose?!

If you haven’t heard, Mark Ruffalo’s 39-year-old brother, Scott, a hairstylist, was shot a week ago in the head in his own apartment in Beverley Hills. Police suspect Shaha Mishaal Adham was the assailant but have not discussed a motive.

The AP reported today that Scott died late Monday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA. Calls to Ruffalo’s publicist went unanswered.

Another suspect and friend of Adham, Brian Burton Scofield, was named a person of interest. Both Adham and Brian turned themselves in. Adham is being held on a murder warrant while Brian is being held on a misdemeanor traffic warrant.
