I don’t usually write about politics. Thankfully, I still don’t since this has nothing to do with that. Last night, Meghan McCain posted a TwitPic where she basically posed her big breasts with a book with the description “my ‘spontaneous’ night in…” That turned out to be a bad idea because people started calling her a slut and that hurt her feelings. She posted, “when I am alone in my apartment, I wear tank tops and sweat pants, I had no idea this makes me a “slut”, I can’t even tell you how hurt I am.” Now she’s threatening to delete her Twitter account.

‘Why I have been considering deleting my twitter account, what once was fun now just seems like a vessel for harassment,” and “Ok I am getting the fuck off twitter, promise not to delete my account until I sleep on it, thank you for the nice words supporters,” she wrote. She followed with, “I do want to apologize to anyone that was offended by my twitpic, I have clearly made a huge mistake and am sorry 2 those that are offended.”

The point of this is you guys shouldn’t be insulting girls willing to post their cleavage on Twitter. This is setting a dangerous precedent. Today it’s Meghan McCain no longer putting her breasts on TwitPic, tomorrow it could be someone attractive like Jessica Alba and you’ll realize soon enough what a horrible mistake you’ve made.

In two unrelated items no less.

First up, Meghan McCain wants Hilary Duff to play her in a movie. She’s quoted as saying, “I think she’s really hot — hotter than me — but I’d still want her to play me.” No arguments here. She also wants Bradley Cooper to be in it because he’s “so hot.”

All this brouhaha over Meghan because she has a book being released next spring. Meghan describes her sort of memoir as “Primary Colors” meets Tori Spelling’s “Tori Telling.” A pretty lofty goal since Meghan is only 24 and hasn’t even flashed her vagina. Not even D-List!

In other Duff news, she’s joining Gossip Girl next season. Not just as a one-off guest star either. She’s going to be given a multi-episode arc starting in the fourth episode.

The actress-designer-pop chanteuse will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience. She ends up rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) so it’s safe to say she’ll be majoring in Drama!

This is going to be great. Hilary Duff can’t act. She’ll barely be able to play herself. She’ll frustrate the director so much that when he finally breaks down and tells her to say what she would normally say in that type of situation, Hilary will just stare into the camera for ten minutes looking like she just farted but doesn’t want anyone to know it was her.
