Seinfeld was on Letterman Monday and brought Michael Richards on to apologize. This was pretty awkward the way it was cut and the way Richards acts. “I’m not a racist! That’s what’s so insane about this!” [Cut to Jerry]. Jerry talks as Richards looks on nervously like a little kid.

I put up a better version. Now what I said above makes no sense. It sounds like people thought this was a joke. I died of laughter when Jerry said “Stop laughing, it’s not funny.” Not much he can do now.

The good news all comes when my site goes down. Kramer, real name Michael Richards, lashed out at some hecklers during his set at LA’s Laugh Factory comedy club. It’s probably more appropriate that I quote what he said.

The camera started rolling just as Richards began his attack, screaming at one of the men, “Fifty years ago we’d have you upside down with a fucking fork up your ass.”

Richards continued, “You can talk, you can talk, you’re brave now motherfucker. Throw his ass out. He’s a nigger! He’s a nigger! He’s a nigger! A nigger, look, there’s a nigger!”

The crowd is visibly and audibly confused and upset. Richards responds by saying, “They’re going to arrest me for calling a black man a nigger.”

One of the men who was the object of Richard’s tirade was outraged, shouting back “That’s un-fuckng called for, ain’t necessary.”

Wow. I thought Kramer was the fun kooky guy. Not the racist fun kooky guy. My head is spinning.
