Logs dug up by TMZ show that Natasha Richardson wasn’t admitted to the hospital until four hours after her initial fall. Early reports say she was admitted one hour after.

Reports that say Richardson was laughing may have been greatly exaggerated as well. According to the New York Times, paramedics say Richardson wasn’t laughing, but was sitting on a stretcher and were told to leave.

Even at the hotel, it took paramedics more than half an hour before taking her to the hospital.

What does this discrepancy mean? Was Richardson’s death preventable and someone somewhere made an error in judgment? Is it a cover-up? Maybe, maybe not. The fact of the matter is, Richardson died from a blunt impact to the head and no one saw this coming. There was no mystical ball someone could have looked in to save her.

It’s like the time I fell off a ladder onto my head while trying to spy on my neighbor showering fix my neighbor’s gutters. She didn’t even think I might have bleeding of the brain. She just maced me in the eyes and called the cops. Such a lack of compassion.

At the age of 45, Natasha Richardson has passed away. To put an end to all the questions, Liam Neeson released this statement.

“Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha. They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

Natasha seemed like one of the few middle-aged celebrities with dignity and, yet, Sharon Stone and Pamela Anderson are still haunting this Earth without a shred of theirs. The world just doesn’t seem fair.

According to Liz Smith, in who TMZ trusts, Natasha Richardson has been taken off life support as of 1:30 PM EST. This has not been confirmed by anyone besides Liz Smith. Either way, I’m never going out again. It’s too dangerous. Plus, the air always smells funny. Nothing like the musty scent of month old pizza in my room.

Fox News was reporting that Natasha Richardson was being transferred to New York City before she was to be taken off life support. No word on if that happened or not, but doctors suggest she may have suffered from “talk and die” syndrome.

Both her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, and her sister, Joely Richardson, were seen visiting her.

Meanwhile,  Time Out New York and OK! Magazine both prematurely reported Richardson’s death. OK! quickly took their post down and TONY issued a statement that said it was just semantics and being brain dead is basically like death.

Of course, the TONY statement didn’t sit well with the internet’s bastion of integrity, that jackass Perez Hilton, who lashed out at the publication insisting that they should be “ashamed at their irresponsible journalism!”

Wow, did that big doofus just say that? Because he’s right for once. TONY should be ashamed. How will Perez Hilton ever gain credibility when he’s copy & pasting false information? Why you gotta make him look bad, huh, TONY?

As you may have heard, Natasha Richardson suffered a brain injury after falling at a ski resort. Now, more details have come up in the past few hours that clarify what exactly happened. According to a source, Richardson was at a private ski lesson on the beginners trail not wearing a helmet when she fell down. Richardson did not hit anyone and was “laughing and joking as she walked to her room on her own.” There were no cuts, bleeding or external signs of injury.

An hour later, however, Richardson started getting headaches. She was sent to a nearby hospital and then transferred to the ICU of Sacre Coeur Hospital.

The seriousness of her injury is not known, but Page Six reports that she is brain dead. Granted, no one has confirmed Page Six’s report.

If the brain dead report is true, that sucks. Especially when you consider it happened on the beginner level. If I was ever brain dead, I’d want it to be from doing something cool like saving a bunch of babies from a burning house or having sex with too many Playmates. Things I don’t want to be the cause of it include: baking a pie, cuddling with my stuffed animal or spraying canned cheese into my mouth after I finished masturbating.

Update 12:02 PM: The hospital says Richardson is not brain dead but suffering from brain swelling. She is currently sedated and being transferred to NYC.

Update 3:00 PM: TMZ says they can’t confirm reports that Richardson is only suffering from brain swelling.

Natasha Richardson suffered a “traumatic head injury” in a skiing accident in Canada on the Mont Tremblant slopes yesterday afternoon. She was rushed to a nearby Centre Hospitalier Laurentien before being transferred to Montreal’s Sacre Coeur hospital. No further details about the injury were given. Liam Neeson quickly left a film set in Toronto to be by her side.

See, this is why I don’t ski or do any other type of activity. Too much risk of injury. I use my imagination instead. It takes me places. Exciting places. Places like Mt. Everest, Hawaii and Jessica Alba’s bathroom.
