The latest Bond girl, Gemma Arterton,  who will play Agent Fields in the upcoming Quantum of Solace, tells Esquire magazine that she used to have six fingers.

After undergoing an operation to have them removed, she still has bumpy scars as reminders of her extra digits.

The extra fingers were ‘tied’, which causes them to fall off naturally.

She tells Esquire magazine: ‘It’s my little oddity that I’m really proud of. It makes me different.’

Earlier this year, she revealed she was also born with a crumpled ear, which was corrected through surgery.

She said: ‘I was born with lots of deformities.’

This revelation brings to mind only one question. If Gemma still had those sixth fingers and she lifted them high in the air whenever she drank tea, would that make her upper upper class?

It isn’t enough that Jack White and Alicia Key’s Another Way to Die is featured in the opening sequence of Quantum of Solace, there has to be a music video as well. Check it out above. It’s full of artsy imagery and Jack White looking like Edward Scissorhands without the cool scissor hands.

A few days ago, a Coke Zero commercial featuring Jack White’s theme song to the new James Bond film aired and Jack got all huffy about his music premiering on an ad. Today he might be a little happier because the full song complete with lyrics sung by White and Alicia Keys was played on the radio. It’ll be the opening theme to Quantum of Solace and hopefully give those hipster kids the validation them and their skinny jeans have been searching for their whole lives. This teaser poster for the next 007 movie, Quantum of Solace, has filled me with such anticipation that I no longer yearn to know what dress Angelina Jolie will wear to the Oscars or if Jake and Reese will ever get married. I mean, a shadow of a man holding an automatic weapon cast upon a cement road? How could one’s loins not burn with excitement.
