Julianne Moore has been cast in HBO’s Game Change to play former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. Directing the film will be Jay Roach who did Meet the Parents and HBO’s Recount. It’s the perfect marriage between slapstick comedy and politics which is exactly why Sarah Palin is so popular. People love to make fun of her because she’s an idiot at times. Most times.

Game Change is based on Mark Halperin and John Heilemann’s book about the 2008 presidential elections and follows John McCain’s campaign from his selection of Palin as his running mate to their ultimate defeat in the general election.

Danny Strong, who previously wrote the Roach-directed Recount, penned the script for Game Change. Roach is executive producing, with Strong co-executive producing. [Deadline]

Tina Fey would have been the obvious choice but that would have been too easy. They don’t want to make it seem like they’re just phoning it in. You have to at least make it look like you’re earning that paycheck.

Tracy Morgan was on Inside the NBA last week where the hosts gave him a mic and he ended up telling everyone on live tv that Sarah Palin is good masturbation material.

Looks like other networks caught on realizing this would be a good way to make their video go viral. Hence, on the red carpet of the SAG Awards last night, E! interviewed Tracy Morgan and put a mic in front of his face. He was behaving depressingly normal and then, like magic, Tracy Morgan starting shouting, “Peace! Peace!,” before calling Sarah Palin “the hottest MILF in the world.”

If he keeps going on like this, Sarah Palin better consider filing a restraining order. Or get engaged to him like Katy Perry did to Russell Brand. Apparently publicly declaring you’re stalking a girl is very endearing.

Side note: Did he say “doner my kidney to me”? Silly man. It’s “donering!”

Apparently Kim Kardashian’s fat ass bumped Sarah Palin from the cover of PEOPLE. There wasn’t enough room for the three of them so the jewel of Alaska had to go. To make matters worse, Palin was supposed to be on PEOPLE to promote her show Sarah Palin’s Alaska whereas Kim didn’t even know she was going to be on the cover.

Palin had been penciled in as a possible cover with an exclusive interview to promote her TLC show, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska.” “Kim didn’t know she was going to be the cover this week,” a source said. “She only did the interview at an event with the magazine just days earlier.” Palin’s six-page spread was photographed by Michael O’Neill, who flew up to Alaska, while Kardashian’s pictures were pick-ups. A rep for People said, “Completely false.” Palin’s reps did not respond.

Palin probably wanted to do the cover in a business suit or dressed like an Eskimo but Kim was willing to show cleavage. Obviously Palin thought PEOPLE was bluffing when they said, “TITS OR GTFO!”

Update: Okay. Maybe it was less about tits and more about this insightful comment from Kim that PEOPLE wanted to highlight on their cover. Kim’s cover quote, “I thought there’d be hoverboards by now.” Image here.

Levi Johnston is suing for custody of his son, Tripp, and claims his biggest obstacle is Sarah Palin.  He somehow neglects to recognize his poor choice in a baby’s mom or  his naked poses for Playgirl as obstacles.  According to People, Johnston believes Palin’s powerful influence on his ex, Bristol, is preventing him from helping to raise his son. Still, he doesn’t find Palin the least bit intimidating.

“She has a big impact on what Bristol does and thinks. Bristol looks up to Sarah. I don’t know why they just don’t want me in his life.”

“She ain’t nothing. Just because she ran for vice president and was the governor of Alaska, doesn’t intimidate me. Sarah has no legal thing on Tripp, she’s just the grandmother.”

While I agree Sarah Palin is nothing, I’m perturbed by his casual use of Palin’s first name.  I had no idea they were on a first name basis.  This further proves that kids today are so disrespectful.  Your accomplishments don’t scare them and they don’t even appreciate the fame you’ve given them.  The least Levi could do is send Palin a laminated printout of his Playgirl spread with his autograph on his photoshopped penis. Trust me, Levi, “Sarah” and the judge presiding over your custody case will love it.  And if you could send a courtesy copy to me at The Blemish, that would be most agreeable.

Speaking of SNL, the opening of the show featured none other than Vice Presidential hopeful and regularly mocked, Sarah Palin. It was weird. Fey is pretty much Palin’s doppelganger but when they crossed paths, an actual comedic black hole formed sucking all the humor from the skit. Some blame the lackluster sketch, I blame Palin for not showing her tits. A fact that may have just cost her the election.

Madonna kicked off the US leg of her “Sticky and Sweet” tour at the Meadownlands Saturday night and in between sets, she really stuck it to VP hopeful Sarah Palin. First, Madonna banned her from her shows. “Sarah Palin can’t come to my party. Sarah Palin can’t come to my show. It’s nothing personal,” said the singer. To add insult to injury, Madonna then made fun of her. Maybe. Look, Page Six is printing it as an insult so I’m going to go with it. According to them, Madonna quipped,

“Here’s the sound of Sarah Palin’s husband’s snowmobile when it won’t start,” followed by a loud screeching noise.

Oh, SNAP! Sarah Palin just got served! You hear that Palin? When your husband’s snowmobile won’t start, it’s all like, “EEEEEEeeeeEEEEeeeeeeeee!” And he’s all like, “Huh?!” I bet if you saw Sarah Palin right now, she’d be fuming and you would literally see smoke rising from her head. Okay, maybe not at this instant, but whenever Palin figures out what the hell Madonna is talking about, this will so totally happen.
