The Village Voice scored an interview with Valeska Paris, the woman who was basically forced into Scientology slavery aboard a cruise ship, the Freewinds, for 12 years. She describes what it was like to “work” there.

It all began when Valeska’s mother publicly spoke out against Scientology. Naturally, she was labeled a “suppressive person.” At the time, Valeska was working with Sea Org, disconnected from the rest of the world, and, out of the blue without explanation, she was asked to disconnect from her family. She was kept in isolation from her mother at 17 and a year later at 18 was transferred to the Freewinds, the cruise ship that sails the Caribbean and caters to wealthy Scientologists paying for the highest level of spiritual training, Operating Thetan level eight, or “OT VIII,” where a two week stay turned into 12 years. *Gasps* Lucky b*tch got a 12 year vacation. Amirite?

“Well, the schedule in the Sea Org is very different than in the real world. You’d get up at 6 and go to work, and you’d work until midnight. In 1997 and 1998, after our regular jobs we were up every night until 4 am cleaning up asbestos,” she says. “There was rubble on the deck. We’d have to go behind the guys doing renovations, vacuuming up dirt until 4 in the morning.” Village Voice

Oh, Inotrite. But it must have been cool when Tom Cruise came to visit, right? She must have at least gotten an autograph to sell on eBay.

“We were all pulled down to the cinema,” Valeska says, remembering the special announcement when they were told that Tom Cruise was coming to the ship for his birthday, which is July 3. “We were all told we can’t ask for his autograph, or we’d get a comm ev.” (A “committee of evidence” is a sort of Scientology disciplinary trial.) “We can’t tell anyone that he’s coming to the ship or that he’d been to the ship, or again, a comm ev. And we had to call him ‘sir.’ It was like he was David Miscavige’s deputy or something.”

That sucks. Then… at least she got a look at Tommy. How did he look? Is he as good looking in real life as in his movies? Spill, sista!

As the date for the party neared, however, Valeska committed a grave error.

She got a cold sore.

“David Miscavige saw that I had a cold sore, and I was assigned to lower conditions and I was put in isolation for 4 days,” she says. She explains that she was assigned the “condition” of “Treason,” which is below “Enemy” but above “Confusion.”

“I was in Treason. So I wasn’t allowed to go to Tom Cruise’s birthday.”

This story is getting more and more depressing. However, one tidbit she did get is that only men were allowed to serve Tom Cruise because he was so beautiful, any woman would automatically fall in love. And the men had to wear only speedos, free of all body hair and be oiled up. To, um, make them work faster with less wind resistance. Okay, that last part might not be true.

“He said, ‘Tom Cruise is coming and I need really good service, so who’s going to serve him?’ A woman spoke up. ‘No, no, it can’t be a woman, because he’s so good looking, any woman would fall for him.’ So a guy had to take the job,” she says.

As luck would have it, the man assigned to serve Cruise slept in so she did his job and managed not to fall in love. What willpower!

The first morning after Cruise arrived however, the male worker assigned to serve Cruise and his guest, Penelope Cruz, slept in, and Valeska ended up doing the job.

His ass was probably sore… from working 18 hours a day of course.

Not out of the goodness of his heart, mind you, but to convert her into a Scientologist. A task which shouldn’t be too hard to do considering Lindsay has the mental acumen of a 5-year-old.

An insider tells TNE that “He feels confident he’ll be able to keep her on the straight and narrow… now and forever.” Well doesn’t that sound ominous?

As a show of good faith for getting her a paying acting job, even if it wasn’t the part she wanted, Lindsay has agreed to attend a Church of Scientology induction course. “John introduced Lindsay to one of the church’s top counselors and – even though she’s been cast in a new role and won’t play the star’s daughter in the flick – she’s assured him she’ll still attend the series of induction classes that will make her a Scientologist.”

Hollywood has changed. It used to be the only thing you needed to do to get a role in a movie was take a ride on the casting couch. Now you have to join a damn cult. Ugh. Hollywood has become so degrading.

Paula Haggis shouldn’t expect a Christmas card from Tom Cruise this year because the Academy Award winning director and writer publicly quit the religion. Haggis came at odds with the church after they refused to speak out against one of their chapters supporting Prop 8 which banned gay marriage thereby promoting “bigotry and intolerance, homophobia and fear” and after Church spokesman Tommy Davis went on CNN and blatantly lied about the existence of the practice of “disconnect”.

Haggis, in a long “I Quit” letter asked that if disconnect did not exist, why was his wife forced to do so with her parents when they quit Scientology. From E!:

“You said straight-out there was no such policy, that it did not exist,” Haggis wrote. “I was shocked. We all know this policy exists. I didn’t have to search for verification—I didn’t have to look any further than my own home.”

The order was made all the more baffling by the fact that the parents in question “never said a negative word about Scientology…hardly raving maniacs or enemies of the church.”

“That’s not ancient history, Tommy. It was a year ago. And you could laugh at the question as if it was a joke? You could publicly state that it doesn’t exist? To see you lie so easily, I am afraid I had to ask myself: what else are you lying about?”

Per Church standards, they’ll now try to publicly humiliate and discredit Haggis. Painfully aware of this, Haggis isn’t worried as he says he hasn’t made himself out to be a role model for anyone.

Haggis may be speaking too soon. Doesn’t he know what the church is capable of? Namely, calling him a poop face and drawing penises near his mouth with dribbling semen on all his photos. Oddly enough, Scientology has the same mentality as a Perez Hilton.

While most people would kindly look upon the smoldering embers of Katie Cruise’s once promising career with a mix of despair and bemusement and despair (mainly despair), fear not—it turns out she and her space midget hubby could potentially fall back onto a life of fashion design, as some are suggesting that the new Scientology uniforms have been inspired by Xenu’s favourite power couple:

Behold, then, the new attire for staff members of “Ideal Org”, the umbrella term for those Scientology churches functioning most closely in accordance with directives laid out by cult founder L Ron Hubbard in an essay – which basically comes down to being opulent, hi-tech, and providing drug education and “morality programmes”.

According to some reports, Scientology CEO David Miscavige attempted to incorporate elements of Mr and Mrs Cruise’s signature style in the new kit, which in any sane world would prompt the couple to dispense with the services of their stylists and possibly launch some kind of fashion defamation action.

Clicking though the links in the article brings up a pretty pedestrian mix of power black and red piping, which is, frankly, kinda boring. After all, this cult collective of slavish morons and con artists would have you believe that 75 million years ago, a galactic warlord brought billions of people to earth on a giant spaceship, piled them up around volcanoes and then blew them up using hydrogen bombs. So, no, I don’t want to see you dress up in stewardess skirts or knee-length capes, ingrates. I want silver unitards, jetpacks, and sequined ray-gun holsters. You total, complete and absolute fucking freaks.

Nancy Cartwright, the voice of Bart Simpson, is a known Scientologist. That fact didn’t bother anyone much because she mostly kept it to herself. Things have changed, however.

It seems Nancy has been robocalling using the voice of Bart Simpson to promote her speaking engagement at the Scientology Center.

This little stunt is going to backfire. A record number of people could show up to hear her talk about OT 7, but half of them will want her to do the whole thing in the voice of Bart Simpson. And out of that half you have the hardcore Simpsons fanboys who are only interested in hearing Nancy repeat what Bart said in Episode #327. When it’s time for the Q&A portion, there’s a good chance it will turn into a mini Comic-Con. And you know at one point someone’ s going to say, “Worst. Speech. Ever.”

Katie Holmes made her big stage debut in the Broadway production of All My Sons. Tom Cruise showed up to cheer her on and steal her thunder. When Mr. Big Shot arrived, there was massive applause and before sitting, he “waved and bowed for the audience.” At the end of the show, Tom was the first to get up and give wild applause like his kid scored the winning goal at a soccer game.

Also making an appearance was the group Anonymous who showed up outside the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre to protest Scientology. They sported signs that read “Free Katie,” “Scientology is a cult” and “Scientology can suck my hairy balls.” I might have made that last one up. One demonstrator said:

“We are not boycotting Katie, we are not boycotting the play – we are protesting Scientology. It is evil. Scientology kills people. It follows you home at night. It is perverted.”

This makes sense. The only thing that can stop a bunch of crazy Scientologists are a bunch of crazy /b/tards. As you can see in the video below, Scientologists staged an anti-protest. They handed out fliers with a few protesters’ real names printed on them, harassed them and one even tried to start an altercation. At least they know how to fight back. Throw in a few “Your mom” jokes and put a dead fish or two in their heating ducts and they’ll have Anonymous cowering in no time.

Ex-Scientologist, Peter Letterese, has named Tom Cruise in a $250 million federal lawsuit against the Church of Scientology. The suit is using the RICO statute, normally used to break up Mafia families, and claims CoS is a crime syndicate.

In court papers provided to The News by investigator Paul Barresi, Letterese claims a member of the church phoned his lawyer at home, and when the lawyer’s wife answered, said he was her husband’s homosexual lover.

Barresi, who has done investigative work on behalf of Cruise, tells us: “[Letterese] is just including a celebrity name to get attention.”

He singles out Cruise, who’s made no secret of his religion, saying that Scientology head David Miscavage is “aided and abetted by the actions of Tom Cruise, his right-hand man for foreign and domestic promotion, as well as for foreign and domestic lobbying. He has assisted the syndicate in acquiring funds and [made] his own donations of money believed to be in the multiple tens of millions of dollars.”

I find it interesting that the church resorts to playground tactics to harass people. This multi-million dollar scam operation has the ability to plant a brick of cocaine in people’s houses or kiddie porn on their computers. Yet, instead of doing that, they call wives and tell them they’re their husbands gay lover. I bet the church has a special unit dedicated to putting flaming bags of dog poop on people’s doorsteps, ringing the doorbell and running away and another unit asking people over the phone if their fridge is running and when they answer, “Yes,” they tell them they might want to catch it. So, you better not cross the church, they might put a “kick me” sign on your back.

Nancy Cartwright, who does the voice of Bart Simpson among others, donated $10 million last year to Scientology for their Global Salvage effort which “aims to de-aberrate Earth”; code for “ridding mankind of psychological ills and other ‘aberrant’ behavior.” To put the donation in perspective, the face of Scientology, Tom Cruise, only donated $5 million in an installment plan. Page Six posted up numbers of other celebrity donations.

Nancy Cartwright, 50, Patron Laureate Award: $10 million.
Kirstie Alley, 57, Diamond Meritorious Award: $5 million.
John Travolta, 53, Gold Meritorious Award: $1 million.
Kelly Preston, 45, Gold Meritorious Award: $1 million.
Priscilla Presley, 62, Patron Award: $50,000.

Page Six estimates Nancy’s earnings at $5.5 million a year for The Simpsons. $5.5?! That Tom Cruise is a cheap bastard. L. Ron Hubbard is probably rolling in his grave. There’s no way they can battle Thetans with that little. After they squirrel away a few dollars to their off shore bank accounts for a rainy day, there will only be $10 left. You can’t even buy dinner at a nice restaurant with that.

The war between Anonymous and Scientology managed to receive mainstream coverage from NBC yesterday and true to fashion, Anon posted a response. Transcript under the cut. Instead of using a computerized voice to do the talking, they should get a phone sex operator to do the voice over. That way, I can listen to their plans to take down the cultish religion and get a boner at the same time.

Update: Anon released the Scientology manual. Torrent / Rapidshare. Highlights include,

Control = Income.

As any control we exert upon the public brings upon a better society, we are entirely justified in using control.

One must discover what is best for the applicant and then control him into obtaining it. Leaving it up to his “self-determinism” is really leaving it up to his reactive mind.

Free will is overrated anyway. Making my own decisions requires me to think. I hate doing that.

Dear News Organizations.

We have been watching your reporting of Anonymous’s Conflict with The Church of Scientology.

As you said. The so called, Church of Scientology, have actively misused copyright, and trademark law, in pursuit of its own agenda. They attempt, not only to subvert free speech, but to recklessly pervert justice to silence those who speak out against them.

We find it interesting that you did not mention the other objections in your news reporting.

The stifling and punishment of dissent. within the totalitarian organization of Scientology.

The numerous, alleged human rights violations. Such as the treatment and events that led to the deaths of victims of the cult such as Lisa McPherson.

This Cult is Nothing but a psychotically driven pyramid scheme.

Why are you. The news media. Afraid of discussing these matters?
It is your duty to report on these matters.
You are Failing in your Duty.

Their activities make them an affront to freedom.

Remember. All that is necessary. For the triumph of evil. Is that good men do nothing.

This information is Everywhere.

It is your Duty to expose it.

It is easy to find.

Google is your friend.

This is not Religious Persecution.
But the suppression of a powerful, criminal fascist regime.

It is left to Anonymous.
The Church has been declared Fair Game. It will be dismantled and destroyed.

“When Anonymous, sees an evil fascist brainwashing organization.
Anonymous knows, it has to help mankind. Because Anonymous knows that it is only Anonymous that can help.”

Members of the Church.
Anonymous is not your enemy.
The Church of Scientology is your enemy.
The Church has enslaved you.
Free Yourselves.

Change, does not roll in, on the wheels of inevitability.
But comes through continuous struggle.
Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor.
It must be demanded by the oppressed.

Take it. Demand it.

We are Anonymous. We are Legion. We do not Forgive. We do not Forget.

This is only the beginning.
Expect us.

If you’ve ever wanted to read a Scientology document just to see if the religion is really as insane as you imagined, then today is your lucky day. Someone (Ebaum’s or one of the chans) leaked a secret document yesterday which gives you some insight to the <strike>cult</strike> religion. My favorite part is

THE GORILLA GOALS

This same pattern, but given in an amusement park with a single tunnel, a roller coaster and a Ferris wheel, was used between about 319 trillion years ago to about 256 trillion trillion years ago, a long span.

The symbol of a Gorilla was always present in the place the goal was given. Sometimes a large gorilla, black, was seen elsewhere than the park. A mechanical or a live gorilla was always seen in the park.

Reading this, I’m reminded of that Simpsons episode where Mr. Burns has a room full of monkeys attempting to type the great American novel. “It was the best of times, it was the blurst of times…” Yea, this is kind of like that except it makes even less sense. Read the whole thing here or, if it’s been taken down, I’ve copy pasted it under the cut. Sorry for the formatting.

TEXT FOR HCO BULLETIN

THE AIRCRAFT DOOR GOALS

This goal pattern (HCO Bulletin of 17 April 1963 as changed)

was in use in an aircraft-type set between

315 trillion years ago and 216 trillion years ago and less, and is

the pattern which precedes the Helatrobus

Implants in this galaxy. It remains to be seen if all preclears

have it.

The goals were given with one or more goals in a series,

usually one, and that goal was To Create. The

preclear possibly has this goal several times during this period.

It was given in the mocked-up fuselage of an aircraft with

the thetan fixed before an aircraft door. (There

are also two or more aircraft fuselages used in the Helatrobus

Implants, but the preclear moved through

them, was not fixed in them.) The date is the way to tell the

pattern. The Helatrobus Implants existed only

between 52 trillion and 38 trillion years ago, the total life span

of the Helatrobus government. If the goal is

found to lie earlier, between 315 trillion and 216 trillion or

later, up to 52 trillion years ago, then it is probably

this pattern.

The goal items were laid in with explosions.

THE GORILLA GOALS

This same pattern, but given in an amusement park with a

single tunnel, a roller coaster and a Ferris

wheel, was used between about 319 trillion years ago to about 256

trillion trillion years ago, a long span.

The symbol of a Gorilla was always present in the place the

goal was given. Sometimes a large gorilla,

black, was seen elsewhere than the park. A mechanical or a live

gorilla was always seen in the park.

This activity was conducted by the Hoipolloi, a group of

operators in meat body societies. They were

typical carnival people. They let out concessions for these

implant “Amusement Parks.” A pink-striped

white shirt with sleeve garters was the uniform of the Hoipolloi.

Such a figure often rode on the roller coaster

cars. Monkeys were also used on the cars. Elephants sometimes

formed part of the equipment.

The Hoipolloi or Gorilla goals were laid in with fantastic

motion. Blasts of raw electricity and explosions

were both used to lay the items in.

The series is always five goals. These are very simple

goals, no long words. To End, To be Dead, To be

Asleep, To be Solid, To Create, To Find, To be Visible, To be

Sexual (not To have Sex as some pcs give it),

To be Invisible, To Postulate and a very few more were used,

always five goals in a series. The series

usually started with To be Dead, but To End, To Sleep and To be

Asleep must also be investigated as the

first goal of each series.

The pattern in HCOB 17 Apr. AD 13 is correct for all of

these goals, as changed in this HCO Bulletin.

THE BEAR GOALS

From about 256 trillion trillion years ago to about 370

trillion trillion years ago the GPMs are the Bear

Goals.

These use the same pattern, similar amusement park

arrangements, the same type of goals as the Gorilla

Goals.

The only real difference is that instead of a mechanical

gorilla a mechanical or live bear was used, and the

motion was even more violent.

There is, however, a change of pattern in the Bear Goals in

that TWO RIs were added. These come as a

pair just below “The Vast Value of Goaling.” They are oppterm “Any

worries about being _________ or

goaling” opposed by terminal “A worried goaler.” Aside from this

addition, the pattern is the same as the

Gorilla Goals.

Mostly raw electric sprays are used in the Bear Goals to

drive in the items.

The Bear Goals were handled by a group called, I think, “The

Brothers of the Bear” and were the

ancestors of the Hoipolloi.

THE BLACK THETAN GOALS

From about 390 trillion trillion years to 370 trillion

trillion years ago, the Black Thetan goals were given.

These were given in a glade surrounded by the stone heads of

“black thetans” who spat white energy at

the trapped thetan. The trapped thetan was motionless.

The pattern is the earliest “To” form of GPM now known.

There were six RIs per goal, consisting of:

Accomplished

Not Accomplished

Action (ing)

Never Action (ing)

Goal

Not Goal

There were from 15 to 18 goals in the series, all of a

simple nature such as To End, To be Dead, To be

Asleep, etc.

The full series will be published at a later date hut is

easily reconstructed, always following the same

pattern of six.

THE INVISIBLE PICTURE GOALS

From somewhere around 110,000 trillion trillion years ago or

earlier to 390 trillion trillion years ago, the

most difficult GPMs on the track were given. These contain four

RIs per set, positive-negative in dichotomy,

(example: Wake, Never Wake, Sleep, Never Sleep), the four given

five times for every one picture shown.

This makes 20 firings per picture.

But the first picture is invisible and the thetan afterwards

is not expected to find then the first twenty

firings of RIs (four in a row, repeated five times). This makes a

“vacuum” for a picture and groups the bank.

This type of implant is probably the source of vacuums in the

reactive mind.

The remaining pictures vary during different periods of the

sequence, but consist usually of a scene of a

cave, a railway, an airplane, a view of a sun and planets. The

first “picture” making the total number of five is

invisible and is no picture.

The pictures have a moving object in each (except the

invisible one) which backs up halfway through the

series.

The trick is to get the RIs out of the invisible picture,

particularly the basic first four.

The RIs also fire right left, then left right so that the

“Never” RI the next time has swapped sides. They

go positive, negative, then, with swapped sides, positive

negative.

They are simple aberrative words. Start, Never Start, End,

Never End are always the first firings, followed

by Begin, Never Begin, Stop, Never Stop for the second whole

series of firings. The same four run through

all five pictures. Then the next four go through all five, etc.

There are many words used.

Early in the series 3-dimensional sets were used, late in

the series only 2-dimensional pictures were

employed.

_____________

There may be earlier GPM-type implants but the Goal idea

does not go back earlier evidently than 390

trillion trillion years — in the “Black Thetan” Implants. Earlier

material is only positive, negative and

dichotomies according to present data. But the earlier ones are

more aberrative to the pc.

_____________

PROGRAMMING

The trick is to run a full series through on any of these as

found, no matter how late it is in the period,

then find the first time the series was given the pc and run the

complete series. Then get the next earlier type

of series and do the same thing.

Your pc may not have been in the areas where these patterns

were used and may have different types of

implants. If so, make sure first that the implant you have found

does not contain one of these patterns

before going to the hard labor of trying to make one up with the

pc.

LATER DAY IMPLANTS

Between 38 trillion years ago and present time a lot of

off-beat implants can be found. They sometimes

have only pictures, sometimes only items, sometimes items and

pictures both. They are usually short, often

have no goal in them, only positive — negative commands, and are

not hard to work out. The pc can usually

get them easily if they’re on his assessed R3R chain.

_____________

WARNING

In a complex GPM pattern almost anything can be made to fire

until the exact RI is found. Then no RR is

left.

Wrong RIs leave white mass and eventually crumple up the

engram. Missed RIs leave black strips or

patches. Partially discharged RIs leave gray patches. Restimulated

but not run RIs turn everything black in

the picture.

Scan a pc through RIs you don’t suspect and it all goes

black.

Get a wrong date or wrong duration and the pc has no visio

or pictures that don’t belong there.

_____________

SUMMARY

This is a rapid resume of principal GPMs on the track. Where

the pattern applies it must be done exactly

as given.

(Note: All trillions used are US trillions which are 1,000

million.)

THE TRAIN GPMs

THE MARCAB BETWEEN LIVES IMPLANTS

This is a rough, fast survey of the Train GPMs and the

Between Lives Implants and the pattern used.

The data involved in all this is of great scope and as it

concerns all the peoples of Earth, considerable

more work will be done on it.

As these are the most involved and low-toned implants on the

time track, it is recommended that other

earlier GPMs be completed before the Between Lives material is

tackled. After all tone arm action is the

important thing and any earlier GPM that gives it makes the

Between Lives Implants and Train GPMs easier

to run. So program for earlier GPMs. However, pcs do get into the

Between Lives Implants and do connect

with the GPMs there and in the Train GPMs, so the pattern and data

is released. Where possible run earlier

GPMs.

In any event, a safe rule is to run whatever GPM you can get

your hands on and date as little as possible

in 3N.

THE TRAIN GOALS

These are given to the being on his first contact with the

Marcab Invasion Force in this sector of the

universe.

Thus the Train GPMs date from hundreds of years ago to

hundreds of thousands of years ago.

Earlier on the track there are lots of trains such as in the

Invisible Picture GPMs. So the mere existence of

a train in the implant doesn’t make it the Train Implants. This is

established by date.

The implanting is done from a huge train station. The

announcer, through speakers on the platform,

gives continual running fire of wrong dates and directions, and

orders to depart and return to this point, and

“you don’t know when this happened to you.” A lot of hellos and

goodbyes and false information.

The being is put in a railway carriage quite like a British

railway coach with compartments. Speakers are

to the right and left in the compartment.

The train is backed up rapidly through eight pairs of stands

(eight on either side of the track, sixteen in

all.) These spray white energy against the side of the carriage.

None of the white energy touches the pc.

One pair of RIs fires during the whole backward run between

the stands and then, reversing in the

speakers, fires all the way forward again. One pair of RIs in the

pattern, then, fires a complete round trip.

Then the next pair fire for a complete round trip (forward and

back) and so on. There are then sixteen repeats

for each pair, 8 forward and 8 back, before the next pair.

The pattern is as follows:

(List for oppterm. Remaining terms use the whole phrase of

the goal “To Be ______.”)

Oppterm

NOT (Oppterm)

All (+ complete goal)

Nothing (complete goal)

Best (+ complete goal)

Not Best (complete goal)

Inevitable (+ complete goal)

Questionable (complete goal)

Doubted (+ complete goal)

Certain (complete goal)

Accursed (+ complete goal)

Commendable (complete goal)

Unforgivable (+ complete goal)

Forgivable (complete goal)

Hopeless (+ complete goal)

Hopeful (complete goal)

(Single RI) That’s your goal.

At the start of each goal (or pair perhaps) a face may come

up and say “You still here? Get out. Get off

this train. We hate you.” And from the speakers “This happened to

you yesterday, tomorrow, now. This is

your departure point, keep coming back. You’ll be meeting all your

friends here. When you’re killed and dead

keep coming back. You haven’t a chance to get away. You’ve got to

report in. This happened to you days

ago, weeks ago, years ago. You don’t know when this happened to

you. We hate you. Get out. Don’t ever

come back.” There’s a lot more of this including how you’ll be

pulled and pulled when you’re dead until you

come back. A lot of wrong dates are also thrown in.

The type of goal is of the worst negative dichotomy. To Be

Caught. To Be Wrong. To Go Away. To

Commit Suicide. Etc. The GPM “To End” begins the series. There is

a large number of GPMs in the series.

This series may have been given the pc on entrance to the

Marcab Confederacy plus or minus 200,000

years ago, and then again much later just before the first Between

Lives Implant as a preliminary step before

the actual Between Lives Implant.

It is therefore important to run these Train GPMs before

trying to run the Between Lives Implant itself,

for all these GPMs are repeated again in the Between Lives

Implant.

In running these Train GPMs, be sure to get the first pair

on their first fire. There is a standard swinging

arm crossing signal that sounds at the end of each run of the

train.

Trains play a large part in implanting. There are lots of

pictures of them, lots of rails way earlier than the

Train GPMs. But no earlier ones are given inside a coach. This is

what makes it nightmarish — the white

energy only hits the coach sides, not the pc. The rush of the

train puts heavy Kinesthetic into the engram.

The goals “To Start” “To Stop” “To Change” make the pc feel he

can’t control the train. To Be Unable. To

Be Instantaneous. Various perceptions are all in this series of

Train GPMs. If it’s bad, it’s there.

THE BETWEEN LIVES IMPLANT

This implant properly has six parts.

1.Pc’s actual death (not in first one given).

2.First screen section (to left) giving a false death,

many GPMs calculated to obliterate

memory and group the time track, and some pictures

containing groupers. This says it

is 15 days long.

3.The main screen purporting to give the future trillion,

trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion

years from the year zero. On this the pc’s past implants

get stuck up.

4.The “Next Hundred Days.” A screen on the right of the

main screen giving a number

of positive dichotomy GPMs to fit the negative dichotomy

goals on the first screen

section (2). This also contains a false projection to

Earth “into a baby” complete with

sonic on the delivery room (a home bedroom with oatmeal

wall paper or the current

fashion on Earth.)

5.The actual kickoff from the implant station (not by

projection to Earth but being

dumped on Earth.)

6.The actual search for a baby.

The main screen is a long white board with a grate near the

top all the way along.

There is a roar in the whole place like blowers going.

Huge numbers of earlier GPMs stack up on (2). Lots of

earlier implants stack up on the main screen. The

whole operation is a huge grouper. But given good TA action, it

all eventually flies apart, especially if many

earlier GPMs and the Train GPMs are run first with good TA action.

The pc has had at least two series of Train Implants and

perhaps as many as 300 Between Lives Implants

in the last many thousands of years. Therefore the way to program

all this is to run mainly earlier GPMs on

the pc, then the Train GPMs, then any more earlier GPMs that can

be found and then the Between Lives

Implants.

The Between Lives Implants (and the Train GPMs) have the

full intention of installing a compulsion to

return and a feeling the pc can be reached by them and be pulled

about, and wiping out all memory of former

life.

But any pc can be run on earlier GPMs in spite of all this.

The reason this and other “screen implants” acts as a

grouper is because it restimulates earlier track

charge which then, pushing forward toward PT, crushes the

incidents and GPMs on the screen.

Of course it is all “wrong dated” and “wrong durationed.”

And this contributes to the crush of the

material toward PT.

But basically it is simply restimulated charge on the early

track that presses toward PT and shoves the pc

into the screen implant. Therefore if you just restimulate and do

not run early track GPMs when found,

eventually you will find your pc crushed up against recent times

and in these Between Lives screens (if life

and these screen incidents have not already done it).

This is the secret of the amnesia:

Restimulate enough early track charge and do not discharge

it and the being will have amnesia on the

whole track.

If you are monkeying about on the backtrack and just

partially discharging incidents, going on to

something new all the time, failing to run a series of GPMs

completely when you find them, after a while,

past track will become unreal to the pc. Then it will blot out and

vanish and you will only have these

Between Lives type of implants to work with. Then if you flub

them, your pc’s pictures will disappear. THE

DANGER SIGNAL IS DECREASING TA ACTION.

This all occurs on the mechanism of early track

restimulation, compounded with wrong dates and wrong

durations. So the way to handle any pc is to locate or spring off

the bank early GPMs or implants and run

them fully.

Lack of Tone Arm action may upset this program but it is

mainly GPMs that stick tone arms since they

stall time.

A pc is in danger if earlier track is becoming less real or

is vanishing or the bank is pressing forward and

landing on screens. The remedy is take what was already

restimulated earlier, particularly GPMs, any GPMs,

and run them thoroughly (1) As GPMs (2) As engrams and (3) As pc’s

postulates. This discharges them.

Keep this up, be thorough. Don’t restimulate more than you

discharge fully. And the pc’s pictures will come

back on and the track go straight again.

The above gives you the right way to handle the Between

Lives Implants. Peel off the GPMs from it

(meaning early track GPMs restimulated on it and visible on the

screen) and run them fully before taking

something else off the screen to run.

Thus one does not really run a Between Lives Implant until

very late on a case. The auditor uses it when

it appears on a case (1) to realize that the earlier track has

been restimulated too much and too little

discharged from it and (2) to find earlier GPMs to run.

Excessive restimulation and flopping about on the early

track and running nothing clean will inevitably

bring the pc forward and up against the Between Lives Implants.

So the auditor who restimulates and does not run early track

material when found is doing a dangerous

thing.

The Between Lives Implants create amnesia only because they

restimulate early track and don’t

discharge it. If they didn’t do this they would not produce the

same effect. Therefore auditing undoes this

mechanism only when early track incidents are thoroughly run when

contacted.

The worst sinner is the GPM. So never fail to run any early

track GPM completely when found, with its

whole series. Don’t go skipping about. Going earlier. Omitting

goals, leaving a GPM incompletely

discharged.

Otherwise you will make the acquaintance with the Between

Lives Implant area.

If you know of any early GPM series left unhandled on the

pc, run it completely before restimulating

anything else.

And if you are running the Between Lives Implant grab off of

it any earlier GPM or incident you can find

and take it early and run it. Don’t stay with the screen. Peel

things off it that are earlier and run them.

Otherwise the pc’s bank will feel like crumbling forward into PT

like an avalanche.

This mechanism of the production of unawareness by

restimulating but not running charge on the early

track is itself an important discovery. It forbids then browsing

through the early track, a sip here, a datum

there. Be thorough or crash, out goes the lights, into PT slides

the pc with a thousand volts driving him on.

If you know of any early track GPM on your pc that can be

run with tone arm motion clean it up as a

GPM, clean up all the GPMs in that series, run it as an engram,

run any and all postulates out of it, get it

clean and then find something else.

The cycle of a pc in total amnesia at start of auditing

would be (if audited with good TA action):

1.Contacts yesterday

2.Contacts this life

3.Contacts childhood

4.Contacts a past life

5.Contacts incidents on this planet in the past few

thousand years

6.Contacts early track

7.Contacts lots of early track and GPMs

8.Contacts earlier GPMs.

9.Contacts very early material

10.Continues to clean up track

11.Contacts reasons for making pictures

12.Goes OT.

If you try to rush this by practicing unthoroughness from

(5) on, then when pc reaches (9) above you

will suddenly find him on the Between Life screens.

You will have overcharged early track and failed to

discharge it and the result will be:

8. Contacts earlier GPMs but has trouble holding position on

the track to run them and is ARC breaky;

9a. Contacts earlier material but it groups and scrunches

and sticks together;

10a. Collides with screen implants like the Between Lives

(there are earlier ones);

11a. Can’t keep pictures apart, things easily wrong dated

and is very ARC breaky and is stuck in Between

Lives;

12a. Can’t reach the early track and at session starts, is

found to be stuck in this lifetime.

There is no shortcut back to finding when he started to

“make pictures.” The phenomenon of early

charge pushing the pc back toward PT if not run defeats any such

attempt.

So making an OT is keeping the TA going with itsa line in

and being thorough on early track incident

running.

If the pc has gotten into condition (12a) above or is

approaching it, don’t waste time on endless dating.

Just find any early GPM already partially run (the earliest one

you can lay your hands on without

restimulating others) and run it completely. Then find another and

another. And shun all new material until

you have completely handled the old. And don’t let the pc wander

around on the early track. Just find and

run GPMs and clean up fully whatever you find. Or you’ll be

sitting there reading this HCOB despairingly

trying to get your pc off a Between Lives screen.

Even if these listed evils occur, however, you have not lost

the TA action already gained, if misguidedly,

on the case and the matter is easily repaired providing you redo

what you’ve left undone and this time be

neat and restimulate the case otherwise as little as possible. He

or she is still closer to OT. They were just

making it the hard way.

Between Lives

Implants

23 July 1963

By L. Ron HubbardÆ

All right? Okay. What’s the date?

[Audience:] “23rd”.

Twenty-third? Well, what do you know!

All right, 23rd July AD 13, Saint Hill Special Briefing Course.

I had two choices here. I’m working on an assembly line

process for you. I’m trying to smooth out your

dating problems and that sort of thing. I’m collecting a lot of

information on that, all of it very important as

far as tone arm action is concerned. I followed through that wrong

date or bad dating or misconception of

date is the reason the tone arm action is — and I found out that

the pc’s time sense is his basic aberration.

And therefore I’m working like mad to get you processes that

rehabilitate a pc’s time sense.

Of course, the most exaggerated statement you could make is

the time for a pc to run engrams is when he

can call the date. And if you did that – if you did that, it’d be

absolutely sure that the pc would be getting

tone arm action on R3R, see. And discovered a new rundown of R2H.

You’re using an R2H in a training

pattern right now. Well, R2H exists, of course, as a highly

therapeutic process, too, prac — more or less the

way you’re doing it.

But I’ve been refining it. Refining it. Getting it down to

about a ten-step action, which gives the maximum

tone arm action. Aims straight — I looked around for something I

could use, you see, to rehabilitate a pc’s

time sense, and there it was lying right in our laps. And so I’m

refining that to just rehabilitate a pc’s time

sense. And it does wonders for a case. And finally found that I

may be looking at a one-shot OT process.

And simple as though it — as it is.

Actually, it becomes much simpler as a process to run than

the one you’re running right now as R2H. But

that is not quite ready to release. There are a couple of

questions that are being — still kicking around about

it, such as what happens when the pc gets into an engram and you

say, “When was that?” and he is very

surprised indeed to be in this engram. And then you say, Well, its

bypassed charge is so-and-so and

so-and-so.” And he has to put that together for you while sitting

in the middle of one engram — all very

interesting. I’ve got to answer a couple of questions like that

and then I’ll release it.

The common denominator — which is what I’ve been looking

for — of case levels is simply that and no

more. It’s just the time sense of the individual. That doesn’t

mean it’s how well-timed he is, or this doesn’t

mean that Gene Krupa and so forth — that’s rhythm sense. But just

time sense. The whenness of things. And

the deterioration of this sense is what gives you the case levels.

And that is about the end of that.

There’s tremendous ramifications to this. There are lots of

other things that can make the pc unhappy or

aberrated or significances by the ton. But a common denominator of

case levels is time sense. And knowing

that, then you could probably establish case levels, which we were

trying to do by test a short time ago, by

some kind of a test of time sense. The whenness of things. As

simple as this: “What’s your earliest memory

in this lifetime?” you see?

And the pc says, “Well let’s see, I can remember back to

when I was twenty-nine,” and so forth. You’ve

probably got a case level — probably a case level 7 or something

like that, you see. We got a case level 6,

something like that.

And you say, “Well, what’s the farthest back you can

remember?” and so forth. And he’s trying to puzzle

around and he looks awful cloudy and you wonder what he’s puzzling

about so hard. And he’s trying to find

out if he can remember back to breakfast. Well, you’ve got a case

level 8, don’t you see? Or, if he can’t grasp

what you’re asking him. No, but it is an indication here, of this

type of thing. Your best — your best case

programing, however, is a discussion with the pc about what

process — because you’re dealing mainly with

long-time pcs — what process have they been most interested in.

And you’re liable to get a very interesting

ramification out of the pc, is that they have never been

interested in the higher-level process. They were

really making gains when they were running — and they will give

you some other process.

And that merely gives you the class of process, you know.

That doesn’t give you just — don’t continue

to run the process, necessarily, that they were running, that they

were interested in. But it tells you where

the interest of the pc is along the case levels and therefore you

can run the pc and he will feel that he can do

these processes. And you may be running a pc who is,

uncomplainingly and actually unaware of it himself,

running processes he doesn’t feel he can do. You understand? You

may be doing something like this, you

see.

And the pc’s sitting right there slugging and trying, and

sweating at it and that sort of thing, and you

just start being — just a discussion of interest, see. Interest

discussion, that’s all. And the pc says, “Well,

they so-and-so and so-and-so” and they were really interested as

they were doing some 8-C at one time or

another and they found that was terribly interesting, and actually

there’s no process more interesting than

that 8-C. Don’t you see? You’ve got your answer right there. Now,

they’ve done an objective — an

objective-type process is one that they feel they can do.

These are all on the lines of estimation of cases, don’t you

see? But right now I have a little assignment

for you, is just have a discussion with your pc on this basis.

There’s a bulletin will be out tomorrow on this subject

that’s scheduled to go to HGCs. But you will find it

considerably interesting and it tells you more about this

discussion, but actually more or less just what I’ve

just told you. Just have a discussion with your pc as to what

process has been the most interesting to him

and what does he consider an interesting process and all that sort

of thing, and put it down in your auditor’s

report. And don’t necessarily shift his gears, but this is –

might be very revelatory to you and also to the pc.

Now, I have a reality on doing a process that is too steep.

I’ve never had this reality before and — this is

the subject of today’s lecture — and I got confused and — didn’t

much appeal to me. Process was just a bit

too steep. That’s a brand-new experience for me, but I can

sympathize .with the guy who’s wading along

now and doing that sort of thing, running something that’s a bit

over ‘is ‘ead.

And I had some adventures recently that I’m going to tell

you about in this lecture. And if any of you

faint or anything like that, why fall straight back in the chair,

not into the aisle and so forth. And if you start

screaming or anything, why the — I think the pavilion speakers

are on, aren’t they? You can go out there and

scream. Anyway, the difficulties — the difficulties of

exploration are based on the fact that you can most

easily go when you know.

And I think the British motorist deserves the gold medal

amongst all gold medals for knowing before

they go. I remember one time getting a routing from the Royal

Automobile Club for an African trip and they

gave me little cards. And everything was measured off in tenths of

a mile. And I read these cards all over.

You went over the top of a brow of a hill, you see, and there was

a small cairn of stones to the right and that

was 1.7 miles from the point you had just left, you see. And then

down at the bottom there was a small

bridge and it had a barn on the right, you see, and that was 1.85

miles, you see. And that — going along and

– I read all these cards and didn’t bother to take the trip

because it was…

But exploration has its disadvantages. Definitely has its

disadvantages, because more than once, why,

one finds himself out at the end of a ridge and there’s no way

back — he can’t get up the sheer surfaces he’s

come down — and he looks in front of him and he finds there’s no

way down. And that is it. And so it can be

too much of a good thing, not knowing before you go. You actually

can’t know too much about where

you’re going before you go when you’re doing anything like

exploration of the time track. And I’ve been

fronting up on this for some little while and I find very few

times have I had any faint heart or upset along

that until just recently. And I got the creeps, frankly.

And well, it starts like this — it starts like this: I was

up in the Van Allen belt — this is factual, and I don’t

know why they’re scared of the Van Allen belt, because it’s simply

hot. You’d be surprised how warm space

is. Get down amongst the clouds and so forth, it can get pretty

cold and damp. But you get well up and

sunlight shining around and that sort of thing, it’s quite hot.

And the Van Allen belt was radioactively hot.

A lot of photons get trapped in that area and so forth. And I was

up there watching the sunrise. Well, that

was very interesting. And my perception was very good, and I was

taking a look at Norway and Essex and

the places around, you know, and getting myself sort of oriented.

And then something happened to me that

I didn’t know quite what had happened to me. I thought some

facsimiles must have appeared in front of me,

but they didn’t look like facsimiles. And some other things

happened and I had a feeling like I might possibly

go into the sun. And a few other little uncomfortablenesses there

where… That wasn’t what awed me. But I

got confused. I got confused because the sun was suddenly larger

and then it was smaller and somehow or

another I was doing a change of space process that I myself was

not familiar with. And it made me sort of

bite off my thetan fingernails just a little bit, you know?

And I said, “Well, I’d better look this over a little more

thoroughly.” And proceeded to do so. And a bit

later that day, why I did some reach and withdraw on the polar cap

and so on — orientation. And we got

quite a bit out of this because I was able to establish some reach

and withdraw process – I knew how the

world must look to somebody who was in a body and had pictures

appearing in front of them and that sort

of thing. I knew they could get kind of queasy about this

situation.

Well, that wasn’t what overawed me. What overawed me was

when I found out I hadn’t been looking at

pictures. That was upsetting, becau — I was invalidating my own

perception. It didn’t look like pictures, don’t

you see. And I was busy invalidating my own perception and so on,

and I wondered why I was nervous.

That was what was really puzzling me. What was this all about? And

I couldn’t quite figure out what had

happened and then I finally did find out what had happened. And I

had actually appeared in a dispatcher’s

tower on Venus and had appeared back where I was above here. And

had done it like that. With no volition

on my own part at all. That was upsetting.

You start doing appear and disappear, you see, automatically

and you say, “What’s happening? What’s

happening? You mean to say I’m going to be prowling around in the

stratosphere and all of a sudden find

myself appearing and disappearing elsewhere without any volition

on my own part?” Actually, I didn’t think

all this through until later.

But I thought, “Well, prowling around up here is a little

bit over my head just now. And I’d better know a

little bit more before I go.” So, that was some weeks ago, and

since that time I’ve been exploring around and

finally found out what I was looking at. And you talk about a

fellow — he’s brought home this nice pet, tame

variety of snake, you see, and he’s put it in a box. And then a

snakeologist comes along and he says, “Good

heavens, man! Where did you find that king cobra?” That’s the way

I felt. I’d been looking at where you go

every time you die, see? And I finally found out what this planet

is and why life is so loopy.

Now, we’ve got some of this back in 52. Dishing it out

intellectually; I had a good intellectual reality on it.

We’d talk about between lives area and we’d dished all this off

the cuff. This is not data which is unknown

to us, don’t you see? But that isn’t the same as going there. That

isn’t the same as going there with your

eyes wide open. And realizing that all you had to do was to be

there at the exact point which you’re

supposed to appear at and willy-nilly you would have gone over

Niagara Falls through the implant, you

see? And that is what has happened to me last few weeks, and… So

I’ve been studying this situation very

hard and, as I say, I’ve come up with the data with regard to it.

Of all the nasty, mean and vicious implants that have ever

been invented, this one is it. And has been

going on for thousands of years. It’s the most complete memory

wipeout system and the biggest bunch of

lies that anybody ever had anything to do with.

Now your understanding is that when you die, why somehow or

another about fifteen minutes later you

appear in another body. Let’s look at this thing from a time

disorientation basis. That is a lie. It takes

sixty-nine days plus. More than sixty-nine days. And you very

often go — see, this has upset some of our

calculations. We’ve wondered what has happened to some of our

people, why they didn’t show up again

immediately, that sort of thing. You’ve gone as long as eight or

nine years between death and birth.

Now what happens — I’ll just give you a fast rundown on

this situation — what happens is, is you’ve got

a compulsion to appear; this was why this yo-yo. see? You got a

compulsion to appear at the between lives

return-point. And, of course, you just do a disappear at death and

an appear there. You don’t travel to there,

see. It’s all nicely implanted and you’re supposed to arrive at

this exact point. And having arrived at this

point you go through the works. And the works consist of a false

death given to you in pictures. You’re

caught there and beamed in, and you get a bunch of pictures which

they have taken — these aren’t your

pictures — and it tells you all about the death you just died.

Only that’s not the death you just died. They

give you a completely false death.

Now, this gives us a moment of pause, right at this point.

This is alleged by the way, to be a fifteen-day

time track. It isn’t. It isn’t. It’s days, but it isn’t fifteen

days. And it says it’s a fifteen-day time track, see, and

this is fifteen days from where you last were. It starts with a

repetitive picture which gets you good and lost.

In other words they keep giving you this same picture and this

same picture and this same picture so that

when you try to back out of the incident you keep running into the

same picture, and you keep thinking that

you’ve got the beginning of the incident and you haven’t. You’ve

got a picture in the incident, see, and then

you go to an earlier picture and you think you’ve got the picture

now that starts the incident, and that’s

wrong, too. So the trick is to get ahead of it.

But that is — can be varied one way or the other, and I

needn’t go on about this, but usually you see an

actual scene and then you see a picture of a scene. So then you

can’t really get outside the pictures in order

to begin the incident, see, so you can’t find basic on the

incident. That’s all that amounts to.

All right, well this whole series of pictures represented as

happening in the space of fifteen days,

counted off day after day, gives you your death which is a false

death. And it’s not the right death at all.

Matter of fact, in scouting this in session, I found a death

whereby I got me ‘ead blown off about 1150. And

they showed me a picture of a death by exploding bombards. It was

very interesting, because they didn’t

have bombards in 1150. Get the idea? They didn’t have them for

another couple of hundred years, see. They

weren’t common. So they slip.

But these pictures they show of your death are all Earth

pictures. I don’t know how we explain this. It

could be explained by them coming down and taking some pictures.

I’d hate to explain it so esoterically as

they pick up somebody’s photograph and photograph his facsimiles,

because in this particular character it

wasn’t possible. Either that or they, in some fashion, preordain

the destination of the society at that point

and expect your pictures will be concerned with that, don’t you

see? But they are Earth pictures, and they

compare to the historical periods of Earth. For instance, a death

at 750 — you get knocked off your horse, or

something of the sort or die in bed with your boots off, and you

go up there and find yourself having died in

a battle amongst knights. And have a helmet sitting on a cross as

your grave and so forth. That’s not your

grave, but it’s a Norman helmet. Interesting, you see. Messed up

like fire drill. In other words, they give you

the wrong death. That’s the way it begins.

Now, you move up to a point called the year zero. And thank

God they’ve got a year zero, because you

can always date the incident by dating the year zero, because

there is no year zero on your time track. So,

when you want to look — take one of these incidents apart for

dating, always look for a hole, Look for a hole

in the incident, you see, and you’ll find something like, well

there’s a year zero there. Well, good — date the

year zero. For God’s sakes don’t date the incident! And I’ll show

you why in just a moment.

Because they give you a future history of your life: This is

going to be your life. Television program

“This Is Your Life” has no bearing on the thing at all, but I

often wondered why I could never bear the

stinking program. But this is “This Will Be Your Life.” And they

now give you from the year zero, which

they communicate to you as the year zero — this is given in

another room. This is given in a room alongside

– another chamber. See, your first fifteen-day period, that all

finishes up, see — alleged fifteen days, see?

Then you go to the year zero, and this is a great big room

– great big room. And this screen is a whitish

colored screen — surround — a whitish surround to a copper grid.

This copper grid is many feet long. I

wouldn’t — haven’t tape measured it; didn’t have a tape measure!

I’m not really up there very high yet, I can’t

carry things around with me. Anyway, it’s — oh, I don’t know –

at a guess, seventy-five feet, hundred and

twenty-five feet, hundred and fifty feet, something like that,

copper grid. And it’s very long and high, but it’s

much narrower than it is long, don’t you see? Be on the order of

about three feet high and seventy-five feet

long, or five feet high and a hundred and fifty feet long,

something of that sort, you see.

And this has some compulsive effect upon the thetan, and the

whole thing is to make him make pictures.

And they don’t show you your future life at all. They show you

your — what happened to you at the year

zero, at the time you entered the universe. Now it so happens that

there are a lot of incidents where people

have told you you entered the universe, and some happened not so

long ago and some happened a long

time ago. And there can be such a thing as a guard room or

something like that, and there’s a bunch of

angels sitting around in the guard room and you walk in in a doll

body — at the beginning of the universe,

you walk in in a doll body, you see? Slight discrepancy there.

You’re madly out of valence, you see. That’s

you over there. But it’s a facsimile of some kind or another. And

the year zero usually takes one of these

facsimiles.

Now, there isn’t really a picture in the whole sequence of

the next section of this. There aren’t any

pictures, you understand, except yours. So what actually happens

is from the year zero to the year one

trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion years in the future,

you’re given a compulsion to mock up your own track

on this screen. And date by date by date by date by date, from the

year zero forward to one trillion trillion

trillion trillion trillion years, you’re given a compulsion to put

your time track up there. And all that’s very

interesting.

You finally come to the second significant date, which is

one trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion years in

the future. This is the wrong date, the wrong-date cake if there

ever was any. But you actually have put your

own facsimiles from your own year zero forward to that far from

what you considered the year zero. Of

course, this makes a scramble, too. But they’re just your own

pictures. Remember, there wasn’t a single

picture in the whole thing except what you put there. But what did

you put up there? Man, you put up the

early implants — you put up the Glade, the Bear, the Gorilla, the

Helatrobus Implants. You put up the whole

lousy lot; entrapments and everything else. And you just did that,

and this was probably in the course of

the next sixty days. Not fifteen minutes — sixty days. Long time,

isn’t it? Sixty days of restimulation. And

wrong dates.

Those are all your pictures. You scan somebody through that

sequence and what are you scanning him

through? You’re scanning him through the misdated Helatrobus

Implants. You’re scanning him through

anything and everything that you can think of, all misdated. So

you’d say, “Well, all right, you can’t scan

through these things, so it’s impossible to get through it.” And

this was about the time I started to feel

queasy and felt that I was just being run just a little bit over

my head. I was scanned through it twice and I

felt that was a little bit over my head.

Because to take at a gulp a scan through all of the goals of

the Helatrobus Implant in one single pass, it

made me feel just a little bit odd. And I felt, “This is a little

bit too steep for me. I’d better find some way to

take this thing apart so it can be taken apart.”

All right, so there’s this middle period. That’s in the main

room, the middle period. And how a thetan is

moved through there I don’t know yet. I think he must be moved

there — through there on a very slow

endless belt proposition. Very slowly. Fantastic slow speed!

Because he spends sixty days going past this

cotton-picking screen, see? It’s not that big. Putting his

pictures on it.

Now we get to the third sequence. And this is far more

interesting because they furnish all the pictures,

which I think is very sweet of them. They don’t now try to pick up

any pictures. They throw you, usually –

nearly always the same sequence. This is a very, very stable

sequence. It’s a bunch of pictures, and they

have some — there’s a — they use a wavelength communication

system, by the way. Thought-concept

wavelength communication system is all I can make out of it. Not

words. But you do hear some sound, and

part of it is a baby crying, and they show you picking up a body

and so forth. And then they show you

departing. And of course you depart and then you get another

picture of departing and you get another

picture of departing, so you really never get out of that one

either, see.

And then they show you a picture of being sent directly down

to Earth and channeled straight into the

body of a newborn baby. I think it’s awfully nice. And you even

hear the baby cry. I think that’s good.

That’s good, it’s very clever. And part of this — and all through

this thing, you’ve got a false emotion of

“We’re just good Joes and we’re doing our best for you.” And you

get the feeling, “Well, we’ve…” I can

imagine — there’s one thought concept in there which is terribly

interesting, which I imagine you girls have

occasionally been startled at, which is “We’ve treated you like a

gentleman. Remember, we’ve treated you

like a gentleman.”

Anyway — you want to know why the girls are always wearing

men’s sweaters and so on. But the whole

idea and the whole emotional tone that’s shot at you all during

the rest of this duress, knock-about,

restimulation, misdating, scramble-up washout is, “We’re being

nice.” See? As a matter of fact you’ll find

that this — I’ll bet that you’ll occasionally get a pc who will

say, “Well, they treated me well. I couldn’t get

along without this.” You know, that sort of thing. Because that’s

the prevailing emotion. No anger, there’s

nothing there. The light touch, see. The most effective possible

touch.

Anyway, you then see a picture of yourself separating from

this planet. And how they explain that I

don’t know, but it’s sort of — it’s just thrown in for good

measure because it said so on the blueprint, I

suppose. You’ve already been sent to Earth, you see, in a — the

thing is kind of mixed up. And you even get

a picture of yourself being scooted across a desert on Earth with

yucca trees down under you and that sort

of thing. And there you are. You’re on your way and you’re going

down to pick up this baby and everything

is fine.

See, you couldn’t pick up a kid without them, you know?

Ha-ha-ha-ha! You couldn’t do that, so on.

Magic, you see, they have all these babies beamed, you know. And

all they do is ride you down the beam

and you pick up the baby and you’re all set. And there you are and

so forth. And this thing, then, with the

multiple end so that you can’t find the end of it easily (you

know, the end and then the end and then the end

and then the end — which is the end? and so forth) finally winds

up with what actually happens to you:

you’re simply capsuled and dumped in the gulf of lower California.

Splash! To hell with you. And you’re on

your own, man. And if you can get out of that and through that and

wander around through the cities and

find some girl who looks like she’s going to get married or have a

baby or something like that, you’re all set.

And if you can find a maternity ward to a hospital or something,

you’re okay. And you just eventually just

pick up a baby. You’re strictly on your own, man. In a state of

total amnesia and gahh! Having been lied to

to this degree with your track all scrambled, see.

Well, in this sequence you’re given a compulsion that the

next time you die you must appear on the

landing stage. And that’s it. That’s the whole ruddy, lousy,

cotton-picking lot. This is an interesting — an

interesting thing, because this is the most vicious engram I have

ever seen set up. To scan through that

thing is asking you to scan through a restimulation of a trillion

trillion trillion trillion trillion years of your

own time track. Just asking you to do it like — just like that,

see. “Oh, that’s all right, just scan through it, you

know. Ho-ho!” Can’t do it, man.

And to find the beginning of it — well, there are other

ones with false beginnings and false endings so

that you can’t get out of them easily, but the time lie: this is

specifically fifteen days. This is your last fifteen

days, you see, on Earth, you know? Only it isn’t. And it’s not

even fifteen days. And then the last section

tells you that it’s a hundred days long. You get a hundred days

counted off to you in there. But it isn’t a

hundred days, it’s more like about nine days. And then having

channeled you squarely into the head of

your new body, they dump you in the gulf of lower California.

Very interesting. Because by the time you get out of that,

this is a type of facsimile that can’t be run.

Nobody has ever been able to approach even looking at it, so it

gives you enough queasiness so that you

just tend to back right straight off from the thing — how the

devil can you undo that?

Now, because you’ve been given such a — such a compulsion

to appear there… Here I am up in the Van

Allen belt and I take a look around and I see the sun and I get

myself oriented and I’m just spotting myself

around, you know, getting ready to flex a bicep or something like

this, and I just glance in the direction of

Venus and I go — I’m on the landing stage. See, the compulsions

shift me in space. I didn’t stay on the

landing stage. Still, I went up and looked around the airport,

took a look around the airport. I found, oddly

enough, that I’d gotten curious about this place before, some

hundreds of years ago, and had simply hung

around for a while and hadn’t gone through the implant.

But this has been going on for as long as you’ve been on

this planet. There’s lots of these — they run

somewhere in the neighborhood of two to three per century. If

you’ve been on this planet ten thousand

years you’ve got — what? Quite a few of them. Figure it out for

yourself. That’s how many of these

confounded things you got. And as far as I know it hasn’t changed

an iota. I could — I’m saying a little bit

more than I know now. But I think it — it apparently was simply

set up and it’s continued on. There’s been no

vast change of pattern, as far as I know. But I’m prepared to

amend that when I start looking at a few early

facsimiles on it, which I haven’t yet.

The point is this: the Helatrobus Implants, the Gorilla

Implants, the Bear Implants, way back thetan fights

and all of this kind of thing — you got through all that. You got

through all that and you were still OT. They

used to say about me that I’d never been the same after the second

Helatrobus, you know? I used to

occasionally snarl at people more than I used to earlier. But

before I hit this place I was on the same post for

eighty trillion years, same post, same name. Give you some idea of

stability of identity.

Mary Sue gave the cue on this thing. She said, “Look at how

hard they have to work to keep you from

being OT!” Hey, now, that’s quite a thought! Isn’t that quite a

thought? Hm? Now you look at this. You look

at this, now. The complete idiocy of it. Somebody sits up on Venus

– there are probably some other stations

around up in the system. This one’s on Venus. I notice that we all

believe that Venus has a methane

atmosphere and is unlivable. I almost got run down by a freight

locomotive the other day — didn’t look very

uncivilized to me. I’m allergic to freight locomotives, they’re

always running into you.

Now we notice that Mars doesn’t have any atmosphere either and won’t

support life. In spite of the fact

that it turns green and red and purple with the seasons, it

doesn’t support life. We understand — there’s lots

of things we understand about this system — heh-heh! Isn’t it?

But this is a carefully maintained station.

And a space-opera, meat-body type society maintains it very

carefully. They have a hospital, there’s space

craft hanging around there, dispatcher stations, landing

platforms, this type of thing. It’s all highly civilized,

but they carefully maintain this one. And it’s very interesting,

they maintain this one. They’ve maintained it

for thousands of years without any change. Why, it’s fascinating.

Why are they maintaining this thing?

Why? Why is it so important to them?

Don’t be deluded by the atmosphere they pump into you — the

emotion they pump into you during the

implant, that it’s all for the best in this best of all possible

worlds, man. It might be that, “We’ve treated you

like a gentleman,” but the fact of the case is, I classify that as

a dirty trick. Why is it so interesting whether

or not somebody gets off this planet? Well frankly, your answer is

practically as good as mine. I could make

a few guesses on this, but that’s about all.

But the rest of this universe isn’t run this way. It’s a

question of where are we? Why? Well, I know this:

that onto this planet there’s a great deal of dumping has gone on.

Stuff from the nearby galaxy — not this

galaxy but from the next galaxy over and so forth, is going on

here. I know they take political prisoners and

guys who they don’t want around, but it’s less personal than you

think. They just have excess population

so they start to get rid of their excess population, you see?

They’ve got a revolt, or you’re on the wrong side

of a war, or something like that, and they pick you up in droves

and ice-cube you and throw you into a sea

someplace.

I know this planet has been subjected to that and several

planets in this immediate end of this galaxy

have been subjected to that — that I know. But somebody must have

taken a great deal of interest in this

fact. And somebody must be awfully afraid. Somebody must be

awfully afraid. You could almost say it isn’t

so many — how many are here, but it might also be a question of

who’s here. Think of the cost — now let’s

think of it in terms of just a society, you see — think of the

cost of maintaining a huge station or several

stations, its maintenance, light, power, wages. Think of

maintaining it on a basis of hard work, because it is.

Look at the volume that station handles. How many people die on

this planet in any given day? Well that’s

how many guys are started in on the beginning of that line in any

day. That’s a lot of people, man! That’s

something on the order of two and a half billion implants every

half-century. That’s quite a volume. Of

course somebody may not say that’s a great volume, but look at the

length of the implant.

Now, if it were a two-second implant, I would say well,

yeah, anybody could handle that. But it — I know

that it’s more than sixty-nine days. And I know the stuff is

ferried back here. Why, I think that’s all very

interesting. That this is a — this looks to me like a very

expensive proposition. And remember this has been

going on since before the days of Egypt. Way back. Without any

change. What industry! What

enthusiasm!

So we ask these various questions: Who’s here, and who are

we? See, we can ask a lot of questions out

of this. I don’t pretend to have the answers to these questions.

There’s no interpretation I’m giving it

particularly beyond the interpretation — same interpretation I’m

telling you about the room you live in. I’ve

seen the room. And you’re just beginning to look at it.

Now, the amount of duress necessary to produce a continuous

degraded state can be measured thereby.

Look at the hard work to keep people aberrated. Now, a few months

ago I was telling you about if you were

just left alone for a while, you’d snap out of it. Remember? If

you were just left alone for a while, you’d snap

out of it. The universe itself is therapeutic. But look at how

hard they have to look at it. I know that in any

given situation somebody has to be awfully active to maintain the

situation in a bad state. Situations have

to be maintained in a bad state, they just don’t naturally exist

in a bad state. And that’s very definitely true of

people.

If you were left alone, even if you could put in two or

three hundred years at it, you’d start to snap out of

your hop. See, you have to pick up the next baby anyhow, all off

your own bat. Well, supposing you just

picked up the next baby without the between lives implant to slow

you down? Well, I find that would be

Quite interesting. Quite interesting thought, because right there

you’re looking at world clearing.

We got several ways that we can whip this situation. We’re

actually talking about an existing situation.

We’re talking about the situation that your pc is sitting in, in

that pc chair in an auditing session. There is

his PTP. How the hell is he going to get out of here?

Well, I know how to get out of here — I could have went as

a matter of fact. Just don’t appear in this

immediate vicinity of the solar system. Go back and find your

friends and bring some battle cruisers in. But

the point I’m making here is: The key is, the second you find

yourself free, to appear, don’t you see? Well, I

appeared and I said to hell with that and stepped back up above

here again. Said now what the hell’s

happened here? What’s this funny compulsion? And ran that on down,

that’s it.

Well actually, it doesn’t take much to get rid of the

compulsion. Now, in exteriorization, it is very easy for

a thetan to exteriorize if you have him be in some place he’s

familiar with. Now, supposing Scientologists just

elected a place to be when they kicked the bucket. And supposing,

why, we simply ran out — and actually

it’s just a section of this implant, and even though it jams the

case up, who cares — run out that compulsion,

even by repeater technique, don’t you see? We can do that, see.

Run that compulsion to appear over there,

you see. And then tell the guy very strong and hard, “Well now,

where is a good place that you’re very

familiar with? Well, when you die, appear there. Now remember

that. When you die, appear such-and-such a

place.” Different place.

Two or three hundred years, even with no processing, you’d

be free. In other words you’d live it out.

Look at the amount of time that’s just been bought. Because

frankly, it wouldn’t take more than a couple of

hours to do this job on anybody. If you simply told a thetan to be

in a place where he was familiar with or

liked to be, he would exteriorize. You can ask somebody what he’s

familiar with. He gets tangled up

sometimes, thinks he’s gone into a facsimile when he’s actually

gone into a locale, don’t you see. As far as

that’s concerned, you see, you could use Saint Hill, providing you

didn’t — providing you ran out all your

ARC breaks on the subject.

But the point here is elementary. If a guy has got to pick

up his own body on his — off his own bat

anyway, well, he might as well just pick up a body off his own bat

anyway. Nobody else is going to do

anything for him. In fact if you’re going to give him a — you

know very well that if — what would happen to

somebody if he had an engram and you gave him another engram on

top of it and said that his engram didn’t

exist, you know how therapeutic that would be. And then you

misdated everything he’s got and then told

him a bunch of lies and then pulled an emotional switch on him.

You can imagine the state your pc would be

in if you did these things, so supposing you just deleted that out

of the subject of death. And somebody

just was in a place they were familiar with and didn’t go back

through the between lives area. And I’m telling

you true, that in two or three hundred years you would have lived

it out. You’d be flexing your biceps

anyhow, relieved from that situation — you’d be starting to take

a long breath.

Because there must be considerable fear connected with this.

Perhaps the fear of death is mainly the fear

of the between lives area. May not be a fear of death at all.

Certainly oblivion takes place during that period.

Now economic chaos would ensue at once if people kept coming back

and demanding their toys back. I’m

sure that you’d get a lot of people who would argue against this

and say this was not the best for this best

of all possible worlds. They’d say, well — well, they could say a

lot of things about this. I’m frankly not very

interested in what they would say about this.

But now as Scientologists, supposing we just started tabbing

people on the shoulder and giving them

this two-hour treatment which deleted the compulsion to return to

the between lives area — instead of that,

appeared in Yankee Stadium or something, and took off and went and

found a new body? You see the only

service performed: it gives you a place to be when you’re dying,

see, and spares you some of the agony of

death. See, it gives you a place to be as the only service

performed. All the rest of them cut your throat, see.

Well you can easily perform that service. Next thing you know you

start cutting down their customers.

Now, a couple of things stand in the road of all this. You

should know this, a couple of questions are

unanswered here. How close is the liaison between these jerks — I

mean these nuts — I mean these fellows –

and Earth. How close a liaison do they maintain? Do they care

anything about Earth at all? They must have

seen a space probe going by the other day — they must be aware of

some interplanetary action taking place

right here. What they going to say about it? When in the last two

weeks I’ve seen a full armored spaceship

sitting on a landing port, with mine own eyes. What they going to

do? I don’t think they’ll do anything. I

think they’re hung with their own petard. The moment they appear,

they blow the show. I don’t think they’d

do anything. I just think they get fixed on a wrongness, and

they’re continuously executing this wrongness.

They continuously — so they insist on its rightness and they

think that’s going to solve everything.

I’m interested that jamming the track to this degree, and

giving so little time period amongst incidents as

they do to the person, is giving people a weird time — zzzzzzzzz.

So that you have fan-job airplanes only

occupying a third of a century, where as a matter of fact in most

societies they’ll be happy and content with

the fan-job airplane for anything up to a billion years. Somebody

invented a fan-job airplane. Fine. That’s

good. Over here — over here, we’ve got jet planes. Now we’ve got

supersonic planes. Now we’ve got

spaceships. You see? Pocketa-pocketa-pocketa-pocketa. It’s this

acceleration. I’ve interest — been interested

in that because I’ve seen it as quite different here than it is in

any other place I’ve ever been. And this could

be the primary factor. They give you your time track such a fast

jam together that everybody gets an idea of

more accelerated motion of the way progress has got to occur.

There could be other explanations. There could be an

explanation such as a base is being created here

for takeover of this particular galaxy, since this type of implant

is not native to this galaxy — inspecting your

own track you will see that is the case. It’s the next galaxy.

These could be an enemy to this galaxy, sitting

there quietly, letting a manufacturing or production base build up

for an attack into this galaxy. These could

be simply prison guards. And with tacit consent from one and all,

far and wide, why any of you agitators

that cut up a fuss or didn’t join the local AMA or something like

this — they capsulized you and threw you

down here and they know very well that this is a prison.

Now, I know that this is known in some peculiar way, because

bulletin board notices exist all over the

place with regard to this planet. They say, “No landings on

Earth.” Why does everybody comply with this?

I got here, why, accidentally landing here up in the Himalayas.

But why does everybody comply with this?

Why is this planet stayed away from? I don’t know — how many

visitors did Alcatraz have? See, this is

about where we sit with regard to this situation.

Now, there’s another factor. Another factor here that’s

quite interesting. If they have pictures of Earth in

order to show you how you died, did they get them on Earth, or are

they picking them up on some weird

mind reading fact off of beings as they come up there? Have they

– have they actually figured out how to

photograph a facsimile? If they’ve figured that kind of thing out,

why then that’s explained. But how do they

know what’s going on here? That is not finally answered, don’t you

see?

Now, they haven’t done anything about these space probes.

The boys have been at it here, shooting

stuff off into the heavens for the last several years and nothing

has been done about this. Now, knowing

very well, I suppose, that any time they exceeded a certain zone

or area — they know very well that an

armored cruiser could blow anything that this planet could build

like a kid’s toys out of the sky, so maybe

they’re not worried about it. Or maybe they’re counting on a

decimation of population, a destruction of

industry in atomic war.

Another question is: How thoroughly do these people

influence the affairs of Earth? We can understand

that Earth is a very, very strange planet. I’ve never seen

populations behave with the same hecticness and

weirdness. And, of course, if people who were rather revolutionary

or upset or nonconformist were picked

up uniformly and concentrated on one planet, you’d get a — almost

an ungovernable situation. Which I think

rather tends to explain maybe what this is all about. I’ve seen

other planets go nutty, but only when they

were in external stress of great magnitude, otherwise they were

rather peaceful. The days before the

Helatrobus Implants on some of the planets attacked by those

people, you couldn’t maintain a government.

It was everything going to pieces all the time. But that’s an

interesting question.

All right. What degree of influence is exerted against this

planet then? Now, astrologists may have

something — the astrologists may have something in their favor

when you realize that these planets

swinging closer to Earth would be easier to travel — would make

it easier to travel to Earth, and further from

Earth you’d have less traffic or less this or that, and so you’d

have less things happening on Earth, don’t

you see. The proximity of planets, combinations of planets or that

sort of thing, maybe just to the degree of

the interspacial relationships of the thing and so on — maybe

this has some influence on the situation, I

wouldn’t know. I’m just discussing here points.

Now, here’s another point. Where do we sit? I think between

thee and me, that’s the point we’re

interested in. Yeah, well, they’re maybe counting on an atomic war

wiping out space opera and so forth.

Space probes already may have excited their curiosity, there may

be some purpose in this, but that they took

no action when the first space probes passed them either says

they’re back of space probing or says some

other explanation exists for that, so we can neglect all that.

What is the — what is the role which we occupy

in this? This is very, very, very interesting.

Now, that I release this might be a source of great worry to

you. But remember, it’s been in a book, one of

the books carefully seized by the Fools and Druggists — the Fools

and Drug Addicts. That’s the new name.

Ah, that’s a good name, isn’t it? The Fools and Drug Addicts.

Anyway, was What to Audit, and the

between lives area are described in the book What to Audit. This

is not unknown. What to Audit is many,

many years old. It’s been kicking around for a long time, been

available to almost anybody and look,

nothing’s happened. In other words, the information has already

been released when the publicity on the

subject of Dianetics was at a much higher pitch than it is on the

subject of Scientology. So, what is this? If

we really started to run with the ball and so forth, we expect a

couple of meat bodies in the usual white

jumper that comes along with the space opera (except those guys by

the way wear khaki — it’s an

odd-looking uniform), we expect them to appear on the front

doorsteps and say, “Are you a Scientologist?

Well, there’s the spaceship,” and they take you up and throw you

in the can in — at Pluto, or something. Is

this a kind of action here that we might expect?

Or is it a situation where we are no threat to them? It’ll

all sort of pass away? Or are they in a state where

this covert action, going forward for so many years, would

tolerate almost anything before they would

disclose themselves? Or do they count absolutely on the exact

camouflage which we have? We are

ridiculed. That’s our camouflage. I should think — I should think

if anybody was in the know or any liaison

line existed between these two systems… Maybe Kennedy and other

presidents find this out the moment

they step in the White House, you know, maybe that’s what makes

them look so old in two or three years,

the way they cave in. Maybe they find out, “Well, you boys are

slaves, you see and…”

No, I don’t think anything like that happens. But supposing

– supposing you did get a liaison line

between this society and them, what would be their best reports on

us? Oh, “fraudulent bunch of quacks,”

“the space opera science fictioneers,” “bums.” The very best

authorities, the AMA, the Fools and Drug

Addicts, the newspapers, which is where they get their news, radio

broadcasts, television broadcasts, all

forms of news, represent us as being totally unimportant,

ridiculous and so forth. I think they could have all

of our books sitting on a desk up there right this minute and

laugh themselves silly, without a bit of worry

about the whole thing. They’d certainly not blow the show for it.

And they’d have to blow the show, you

understand. They’d have to appear. Not covertly. You don’t bring

spaceships down in a DEW

line-monitored society, privately. Must be getting very hard for

these characters to deliver the goods these

days. We’re past the radar screens, and that sort of thing.

I think they could be sitting there with the whole library

in front of them and they wouldn’t have any

impulse to do anything. They’d say, “Well, a few of them and so

on, and it’s not important and so forth and

you wouldn’t really want to do that, and after all we never have

done anything like this and besides, the

atomic war is coming right up. And there’s no danger from these

people because they’re a bunch of frauds

anyway. There’s always some madman, you know, gets some kind of an

idea like this, and it all passes away

and so forth. Look at the Buddhist. We let him conquer three

quarters of Asia, and he was trying to end this

life-death cycle and keep from coming through our carefully

maintained plant, and he never made it. Never

did anything. So there’s your precedent. Nothing happened. Nothing

happened.” No, nothing happened,

but I was standing on their landing stage the other day. Nothing

happened.

The funny part of it is, is a lot of us have friends. That’s

interesting, too. And if you have to work this

hard to keep somebody aberrated, and working this hard you still

aren’t successful in preventing a

breakthrough the way we have made in this society — in spite of

all of the cockeyed, contrary propaganda

lies and nonsense which are leveled at this society, we are making

progress. And if this continues, we will

make progress all the way. We’re a polite gathering, and it is no

time to indulge in threats or violence or

anything like that, so I won’t describe any future plans with

relationship to these people.

But I think the one thing they must be afraid of is having

their planet rolled. Which of course is the one

thing that will happen to them! Anyhow, the situation — the

situation is much more favorable to us. It shows

that aberration is very difficult to maintain. It shows that it’s

being actively maintained. As far as the validity

of this and the possession of one of these series of implants in

your pc is concerned, I’ll vouch for it. You

may not be able to run it, but it’s there. You can certainly cut a

swath out of the back end of it, that stops the

thing. But to run somebody through it before he’s got the track

nested up, is impossible.

So look at what we got here. We’re going along our own way.

The first thing we ought to do is give some

attention to preventing further implantations of Scientologists.

I’ve already given you a program by which

this can be done. Your next action on the thing is dispose of

them. And I can see tomorrow, I can see

tomorrow — the Chinee, he appear on landing stage to go through

his false death and he hear words,

thought-wave as follows: “Be on Earth. Support your local

Scientologist. There is no further reason to upset

you this time, you’ve been a good boy.” And show him an “S” and

double triangle, and there he goes.

Actually you’d only have to do this for two or three hundred

years, and Earth would start to go Clear on

its own. Because it wasn’t getting this continuous assistance. The

only other source of action is the

psychiatrist with his prefrontal lobotomy and his transorbital

schizophrenia. And this bloke and his avidity

‘for doing everybody in, if you just left — you know, if you just

leave a psycho alone, why he’ll come out of

it. But you’ve got to leave him alone, got to let him have a rest.

That’s the best treatment for psychosis: don’t

do anything with a psychotic, you see.

Well, I think all of a sudden through finding the worst

news, we also, not Pollyannaishly find some good

news, but actually find the answer to our problem. As far as the

clearing of this planet is concerned, that is

the easiest end of it. The hardest end of it is right now, right

here and so forth.

Now, how can you run this incident? That must be burning

through your wits right now. Well, what you

do is get your GPMs out of the road — they’re the only thing you

can’t scan through — and get your basics

on this type of incident. If you run those two things, then the

incident can be scanned. And we already

have the tools by which the incident can be run. The only thing

you’ve got to do is make sure that your pc

gets lots of TA action in a session, and very shortly, no matter

if you ran implants or didn’t run implants or

something like this, they will be jumping up there ready to be

run. And the fact that they are — and this gave

me a bad turn for a day or two — is I thought, “Are all the

things I have run simply jammed into this and have

I been running them at a wrong point in time?” No, because they’ve

been properly dated, I’ve been running

them at a right point in time, even though they were then jammed

in this particular incident. I’ve been

running them out of the right. And I found out that not all of

them had been restimulated there. In fact, a

very small portion of them had been restimulated there, just to

make it impossible to scan through the thing.

But you run down GPMs, you date them on the time track –

you’re running them at that time on the time

track, you’re not running them out of the group, see. Don’t worry

about that. But sometimes a pc will give

you a date. Now we’re dating years ago, and their dating are years

into the future. These two dates do not

conflict. Their dates are wrong, our dates are right. So redating

gives you — of any incident strips it out of

this, so any time you find an engram properly dated on the pc,

you’re away. See?

The amount of false track — at first I blanched. I thought

the amount of false track I have must be

fabulous. And I tried to get away — rid of all the discreditable

incidents by saying they were simply false

track. And then I had to run out all the invalidations because

they were my own track. I thought, “Well, this

is a wonderful way out of it, there’s that time when I sat

incapacitated for a long period of time and didn’t feel

strong anymore and so on — that was obviously just false track.”

No, no, it happened to be real. There’s

very little unreal incident on the track. Very little unreal

incident. When you finally get something durationed

exactly and right, you can tell whether or not it’s one of these

types of implants. But the track is not the same

track. It’s corny track. It’s — there’s something goofy with it.

The pictures you run out of the pc by and large

are the actual pictures of the pc. And when you can’t run pictures

on the pc you’ve got a wrong date or a

wrong duration. So if you get a right date and a right duration,

you can run the picture, and the picture that

can be run that way turns out to be what it is. It turns out to be

a real picture or a bad picture. Only the pc

can tell you if you’ve got the right date and the right duration.

So simply by carrying on with R3R without the slightest

change, carrying on with R3N without the

slightest change, you then get the time track into the kind of

shape that a pc perforce could actually scan

through one of these implants no matter what type or part of his

time track had been. Takes a less number of

hours than you would think. You’ve got the weapons with which to

do it.

You get the basic series of implants off of any chain of

implants, that is to say you get the basics on

these things out, and you’ll find very rapidly and very readily

that the rest of them tend to fall away. And

they desensitize. For instance, if you get the first two items –

let’s say we’ve got the same items firing twelve

times in a row, and if you got the first two fires clean, the rest

of them won’t even click. Isn’t that interesting?

Whereas if you got the twelfth one, it takes you about fifteen

minutes to get all the rocket reads of it off and

then you get the eleventh one, you’ve got all the rocket reads to

take off of it and so forth. In other words,

we’ve got the mechanism which turns the time track right side to,

and it takes the charge out of the place

where it counts.

We’ve got these various mechanisms solved. In other words,

what we know already can put somebody’s

time track in shape so that the person eventually can run straight

through one of these incidents, and damn

the torpedoes. In fact without having all of my time track

beautifully cleaned up, I was playing tag with one

of these things my last session, and I was terribly intrigued by

the fact that I had become a bit

contemptuous of it. I have moved around, I know what it is, it’s

been cross-dated — it suddenly occurred to

me, “All right, so if I find I can’t scan through something here,

I’ll just redate it.” And, sure enough, it

disappears on the back track the second you do so. So you could

probably take it from the year zero, and

redate everything that appeared on the screen in front of the pc

and throw his time track back, and the next

thing you know the thing would be gone as an incident.

Particularly if you were running basic on the

incident.

You can run the beginning of it off selectively, you can run

the end of it off selectively — the last (quote)

hundred days (unquote), the first fifteen days (unquote) –

without running the pc through any of his own

time track restimulation. So there’s many ways this thing can be

handled. We’re over the hump on this

situation. But this thing must exist pretty well as a present time

problem for every pc audited. He must be

afraid of death; he must be trying to keep his body from getting

sick and disappearing, simply and solely

because he doesn’t want an implant at the end of this life.

All right, if you were to solve that problem by stripping

out his compulsion to appear in the implant stage

and tell him to appear someplace else, you’ve probably solved a

present time problem of great magnitude on

the part of the pc. The truth never hurts. It’s only lies that

aberrate.

The very fact that this is a prison planet, that it is being

monitored this carefully right this minute… Right

this instant, as I’m talking here, some Joe off this planet has

appeared on that landing stage and is being told

how he just got through an airplane crash, whereas the guy

probably died of pneumonia. See? Right this

minute, you see. And this instant, another guy did. In other

words, this is a continuing situation that’s going

on and on and on and on and on. Gives you an understanding of

what’s happening.

We couldn’t have run them in yesteryear; we can run them

today. The best answer is to first put the pc in

shape so that he can run engrams and GPMs by making sure you can

get good tone arm action running

those things on the pc. The next thing to do is to run engrams and

run implants, GPMs on the pc, until he

can go over his track rather comfortably and he can come on back

on the backtrack and pick up this other

type of time dislocation implant, scan through those things and

knock them out. In other words, we’ve got it

made.

They’ve been looking down the backs of our necks and we

didn’t know it, for thousands of years. Each

one of us as a person and as a society as a whole. And I just want

to point out to you that the other day, I

was looking down the back of theirs.

Thank you very much.

CLEARING COURSE

INSTRUCTION BOOKLET

READ, STUDY AND KNOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE DOING ANY AUDITING.

MECHANICS OF THE BANK

Anything in the bank that occurs several times will not erase

unless it’s the earliest time it occured. This is

known as the basic on the “chain”. A number of similar things,

early to late in different points of time make a

chain.

When you have the earliest erased, the rest erases easily.

However, when the earliest one is erased the next

to last is the new “basic” and must be erased in it’s turn. And so

on. As this goes on, the items of the chain

eventually begin to “blow” (erase) very easily.

Therefore, if Items cease to erase easily, you have not properly

handled the Item just before it. And may not

have handled the same item in the earlier run.

Even if you get reads out of a later run than the one you are

supposed to be in, you will find the later one

still reads when you get to it properly and will then erase

nicely.

The real sneaker in the R6 bank is “the person himself at the

time”. This we call “the thetan” in the Item.

Each Item has an impression of the being as he was at the moment

of the item long ago. If one does not spot

this each time, it will not erase and mass builds up as we go

along. This means look at or locate yourself as a

thetan at the time of the incident. It is not the light. It is

right where you are in the auditing chair, but of

course, ages past. Spot means “glance at”. q = Greek letter theta.

q-n is a trick way of saying theta-n. If, as

you read this, you can glance at the wall, you can spot, It reads

well.

One then has to get the earliest moment of one’s own beingness in

the bank and “spot” it.

Then one has to spot it for each Item one runs.

One “spots the thetan” and the Item or (in the Objects) the Items,

at the same time. This is a bit of a trick. It

is “simultaneous spotting”. Spotting the thetan in a called

(verbal) Item can be done at the same time as the

Item is called.

Ordinarily, one calls or spots the Item a few times and then also

calls and spots the thetan.

The thetan can also then be spotted without calling or spotting

the item. The right way is the way you get

the most reads.

Soon one begins to be expert at it, but then one must be expert at

it with Item 1, Part 1, Run 1 or it builds up.

One had a tiny bit of mass on him right at the start, as he was

protesting. This is (slight as it is) enough to tie

down the chain by leaving it with a basic.

So “spot the thetan” each time. Spotting the environment at the

time is also possible.

DURATION OF AUDITING

Find a quiet place in which to audit. Audit an hour or two at a

time, preferably the same time each day. A day

you don’t audit is a session lost. Trying to make up a session is

useless. Audit daily. When you don’t you

lose sessions. It isn’t how much you get done in a session, it’s

the getting on, bit by bit, that comes. It’s like

digging a long ditch. What you don’t dig isn’t dug.

The bank contains less than was first thought but it contains

enough. In three or four months you will have

make it if you do a good job on each Item. And don’t fool about

with the bank. It goes into restimulation if

you stir it up.

And don’t decide a lot of things. Your ability to postulate is

increasing and you can decide a run is “flat” or

doesn’t need to be run and have it behave that way. But it will

still be there to knock you down.

THE CAUSE OF TROUBLE

The only way one can get ill, or in trouble, is not auditing, in

trying to “correct” the Items given, or, in not

following instructions.

What doesn’t make Items read properly:

Load shouting.

Body movement while calling.

Fiddling the one-hand electrode.

Tensing muscles.

Getting angry with the lack of a read.

Gritting teeth.

Auditing past an ARC break.

Doing a List 7 every time you don’t get a read or feel odd.

What makes Items read properly:

Doing regular sessions.

Not self auditing out of session.

Staying calm.

Keeping calm.

Keeping the Auditor’s Code on the pc (you).

Following directions exactly.

Adding nothing.

Finding ARC breaks (when they happen) with a List 7.

(List 7 run as an assessment for ARC Break will run

easily. Locate and indicate the by-passed

charge as it shows up. If you are not a classed auditor,

get this done in a Qual Division that

has a classed auditor either on or through the Clearing

Course. If you really bog down,

Auditing by List 7 will give you the relief sought.)

Auditing in a place you feel secure and where you won’t be

disturbed.

Audit daily.

Not auditing too long at one time, 1 to 2 hours is optimum,

closer to 1 than 2.

Not trying to get rid of it all at once.

Considering it a routine piece of ditch digging.

Not expecting to fly suddenly.

Not dwelling on your case out of session.

When you end a session, end it.

Being plodding and methodical.

Just getting on with it, getting all the reads off by calling

or spotting, going on to the next item, if it

doesn’t read, get more off last item and return to the one

that wouldn’t read.

Getting in the buttons Supp., Inval. Protest, when needed

only.

Checking for earlier or later runs only when in trouble.

Only handle trouble when it arrives.

Don’t try to handle it before it does.

The best way to stay out of trouble is READ, STUDY AND UNDERSTAND

THESE INSTRUCTIONS

BEFORE BEGINNING.

BASIC BASIC

The first (earliest) bit in the bank is not an Item but a light.

It appears to the left front of the face, some distance away (look

ahead and to the left a bit and you spot it).

It is the source of unconsciousness and produces it when

contacted.

There is a light before each Run, in the middle of each 7′ s GPM

(every 4 pairs), at the start of Basic End

%orch, at the start of Confusion GPM, and at the start of the

Objects and at the end of each type of Item in

the Objects (every 8 Items). Each time you feel groggy, it’s a

light doing it. Each major change, thea, is

preceded by the light. Mark these in on your platens if they are

not there. Flatten each one by spotting it,

and it and thetan.

Anaten (unconsciousness) can be spotted away.

It is part of the light. When the light went on, the thetan went

anaten. Instead of a Solo Auditor going

anaten in his session, it is only necessary to spot the anaten in

the thetan when running the light.

When you spot a light or object or combination of objects, you

should get a read on the needle. By spotting

the same thing again, you get another read. By spotting it again,

you get another read. And so you continue

to spot it, time after time, until no more reads occur by reason

of spotting.

You repeat verbal items aloud, getting a read each time you repeat

until it has no more reads. Verbal items

are found in the “7′s”. “Basic End Words” aad “Confusion GPM”.

But you silently spot lights, objects, combinations of objects

repeatedly (same one) until you have no more

reads.

You should get as many falls, etc. from spotting a light as you do

from calling an Item.

Spotting the thetan follows the same rules. You spot repeatedly

until there are no more reads on the needle

by reason of spotting the thetan (self) at that instant and place.

You don’t have to see the light to spot it or see the thetan or

see the object or objects. You only need to

spot the place where they are with the idea of what should be

there.

Of course, seen at first or not, continued spotting makes it blow.

In order to save paper bulk, continue down your piece of foolscap

paper from session to session, dating

each new session start

Use both sides of your foolscap paper, but use separate Auditor

Reports for each session, of course.

Any comments that need to be written down must be put on another

sheet of paper. Only the actual reads,

including any buttons that are used, and any cognitions, should be

written on your foolscap paper. Do not

write the name of the items, only the pair number and item number.

Leave some space on your foolscap paper when you complete an item,

so that if the next item does not read,

you then have sufficient space to go back and add more in if

necessary to the previous item.

Do not write anything on the platen.

When you return your auditor’s reports and worksheets always use

HOW TO USE A PLATTEN

Each student must supply himself with foolscap paper.

The platen is then laid aside the foolscap paper and you repeat

the number on the actual foolscap paper.

Across the top of the foolscap paper is written the student’s

name, the name of the part being run, the

number of the run, and the date.

The reads on the Items are mitten on the foolscap paper alongside

the number of the Item.

To keep from cramping your reads and have enough paper on all

parts, just tate Legal (foolscap) size paper

and use the items consecutively numbers and go down the page as

far as necessary to record all reads, then

leave a space and write the next number. It is too hard to keep

the numbers even on the platen and

worksheet.

PATTERN OF THE BANK

The apparent pattern of the bank is as follows.

(Earliest) Part A – The “7′s”

Part B – The Basic End Words

Run 1 Part C – The Confusion GPM

Part D – The Objects – hollow

Part E – The Objects – solid

Part A – The “7′ s”

Part B – The Basic End Words

Run 2 Part C – The Confusion GPM

Part D – The Objects – hollow

Part E – The Objects – solid

Part A – The “7′ s”

Part B – The Basic End Words

Run 3 Part C – The Confusion GPM

Part D – The Objects – hollow

Part E – The Objects – solid

Part A – The “7s”

Part B – The Basic End Words

Run 4 Part C – The Confusion GPM

Part D – The Objects – hollow

Part E – The Objects – solid

etc. for 10 “runs”, total.

There are five PARTS. These occur in a row. This row of 5 parts is

called a RUN.

The first, earliest, of these is the “7′s”.

The second, just above the “7′s” is the Basic End Words.

The third, just above the Basic End Words, is the Confusion GPM.

The fourth, just above the Confusion GPM, is the Objects –

hollow.

The fifth, just above the Objects – hollow is the Objects – solid.

After a RUN of A, B, C, D, and E we begin again with the “7′s” for

the next RUN. The parts go as they do in

the first RUN. (” 7 s”, then Basic End Words, then Confusion GPM,

then the Objects – hollow, then the

Objects – solid.)

Therefore, the trick is always to run only the earliest run

available and not get into later runs.

The bank has 10 runs or 50 parts.

None of these use a GPM Line Plot.

They only contain what is give on the platen you are issued.

The proper way to run it all is to get on with it. After 10 runs,

you may have to go from Run 1 to Ran 10 all

over again anyway, to get any final bits. So your first running of

the whole 10 rans may not be your final

run.

RUNNING ITEMS

Always run the earliest Item first, flatten it and go on to next

item. Complete the part. Go to first Item in next

part, etc.

One calls the Item and marks it’s reads until one no longer gets

reads. Then one calls the next Item and marks

it’s reads, until it no longer reads. Then one can call the first

item of the pair again and second Item, calling

them as a pair until they no longer read. The reads obtained on an

item by calling as a pair are put under the

appropriate item number. All the reads for any one item are

recorded in the same place on the worksheet

regardless of when the item is called. (Such as calling as a pair

or in rerunning). Space should be left after

each item so that reads can be added when calling the pair or in

the case of having to go back and get more

charge off an item.

Whenever you move the Tone Arm down mark on your worksheet (BD –

) and put the new T.A. position in

the Blank Space, e.g. (B.D. 3.0).

If an item does not read the moment it is called, then you have

left the Item just before it charged. So call the

earlier Item again and get the read or reads off it, makingsure

you don’t go into a later run. Then call the item

that didn’t read the first time and you will find it instantly

reads.

When you leave an item to go back to a previous one, pat a / on

the item you leave and a – at the item you

go back to. If you go back more than one item, put a / for as many

items as you go back. I.e. if you go back

three items, you put /// on the item left and – on each item gone

back over. Each item must be called in turn

up to the place where you went back from.

NOTE: This can easily be overdone (getting all reads off earlier

items) as you can put yourself into later

runs, so moderation in this goes a long way.

But never ignore the fact that a new item didn’t read the first

time it was called. It always means you didn’t

get all reads off the Item immediately before, or that yon failed

to spot the thetan at the moment NEVER go

past a non-reading item.

When running Clearing Course material, you find you get a certain

amount of reads on an Item (correct ‘run’

type reads are Fs, LFs, sBDs, BDs) then the following Item in the

same session will get approximately the

same amount of reads – if not and you get only a few reads, thea

go back to the previous Item that read well

and you will find there is more charge on it. After that the next

Item will read with approximately the same

number of reads as the previous one.

One doesn’t muck about with concepts or other maunderings. The

Item is the Item and cognitions do or

don’t appear. The Item is the thing and calling it is what makes

it read.

If the Items go on reading don’t try to suppress them. Items read

big and many times. You may get as many

as 25 or more large reads on every Item. The main thing is to dear

(get all the charge off) each ITem for the

run you are in. Be sure to keep in the correct run. Remember, d

you get bored with so many reads to take the

boredom off as a button. You can just throw away reads because you

get tired of seeing it read. Your

purpose is to clean each ITem, not make yourself interested or

happy or entertained. A lot of it is just hard,

slogging work. If you clean them up as you go, all will be well.

You can sometimes erase an Item and have it then read as a lock or

a lock Item. Test it for a lock if it reads

too long.

If you find you are getting small reads, i e. ticks, small falls,

check to see if there is any charge left on the

previous item, and check to see if you are in the correct run.

Falls and blowdowns are expected on each Item,

not just small reads. Don’t go on calling the item if you are

getting small reads. Find the outness and correct

it. Keep Auditor’s Reports for each session.

Don’t try to run the same Item out of all runs at one time. Just

proceed frombottom up, run by run, in order,

Item by Item, prat by part. Take care to stay in the correct run.

It is now a proved fact that none of the Basic Bank will erase on

a preclear until all the lower grades are

properly established on a preclear and then the Basic Bank

confronted in it’s exactness, item by item in

sequence and in it’s exact relationship to the rest of the Bank.

Know then that:

1.there is no haphazard blowing of Bank

2.no item blows oat of context

3.there are no prior holes blown in the Bank for anyone, no

matter what the nature of any prior

auditing might have been, until the item has actually been

ran.

PAIN Pain (pn) occurs only when you left something charged

behind you. (earlier).

SICKNESS Sickness is part of the somatic. It runs out.

FLATTEN Flatten every Item thoroughly.

ERASURE You are not seeking Release from the bank at this leveL

You are erasing. Therefore “the bank

has blown” is nonsense – one has blown from the bank, so get back

in it and ran it. Total erasure is the aim.

NO READ No read on anew item is always followed by long falls

and blowdowns. Never by-pass an Item

just because it didn’t read. Sure passport to upset is to leave

Items alive and go on or to skip an Item

because it didn’t read. They all will read.

RERUN If you start getting pain or sickness, you got into a

Later run or you by-passed some charge and

must rerun the earlier area you just did. Something is still

alive. If in doubt, re-ran the lot from the stat of the

part. Erase thoroughly. But if it is a later run, get back into

the correct one.

NEGLECT If you ran upwards getting no reads at all on several

Items and still go on, you will become quite

upset. Do not go past non-reading items. Find out what is wrong

immediately and remedy it.

BY-PASSEDCHARGE; Use L7 on yourself if you don’t quietly find

reasons for pain or upset.

READS Write down, using the code, every read you get after the

Item that it occurred on. Write “no” for

Item that didn’t read afire read, even when it then reads.

Example: “No LFsBDFFFsBD”.

RELEASE You’ll go Release a lot of times. Ignore it. We are

erasing in R6. Release can be ignored becaus

the R6 bank is vanishing. Not true of Lower Grades.

TA UP The TA goes up between sessions. IT cleans up and goes

down on beginning rudiments or on the

first couple of Items or both.

REPEATER TECHNIQUE;The Items are flattened by repeater technique.

Just repeat them until they no

laager read. Get your own reaction off. Repeat again Repeat to no

read. Beware of session Suppress and

Invalidate.

PART B Is nouns. Be careful of first one because it is used in

the sense of a noun. Don’t run it otherwise

than as a pure noun.

READS It is not unusual for an Item not to read at first call.

Read the one just before it again. Try the Item

once more. If still no read, call several just before it. Then

call it again. It will read. Items read many times in

most cases. Don’t leave anything reading behind you. Sometimes you

will find a pair you just left are still

very alive. Flatten them. Mark ALL reads or lack of them.

WOODEN FACE;A wooden feeling in the face is caused by pulling

later items that are also pulled in out of

arrangement. If you pull in from later bank (runs) X and Y you

will not get a wooden feeling in your face. But

if you pull them in Y X you will.

PARTS D & E. THE OBJECTS – HOLLOW AND SOLID

These parts are silent.

There are no words in them, only objects.

They run in a pattern.

The position of the objects relative to the thetan are:

|

1 OBJECT | 2 OBJECTS

| * Left Side

The Objects appear about an arm’s length away.

On coming in or going away, the location is the same.

For 1 Object. it appears a few feet in front of one’s face.

For 2 Objects, tbey appear to right and left of one at same height

as the front one.

For 3 Objects, they appear combined as 1 and 2 Objects positions

(in front face and to right and left).

For 4 Objects, they appear as the 3 plus one behind the head about

the same distance back as the one in

front is.

They move.

Learn to perceive the number given all in the same instant, doing

the action of going away or coming in.

Spot the thetan at the same moment.

Seek to perceive the object or objects, don’t call them. Perceive

them as going away or as coming in, as

given.

If the mass stacks up, you are missing spotting the thetan. Go

back and spot it. (yourself at the time). It is an

easy run. If you grind ac it too hard you will get into the same

run repeating as a later run.

If you have pain, you have missed a read. Or you went inta a later

run. If you have severe pains, you’ve

gotten into a later run.

If your eyes burn, you have invalidated something.

MISTAKES AND ILLNESS

About the only thing that can make you ill on the Clearing Course

is your own error, losing your place on

the plot, skipping or re-running.

Between sessions, little can happen you cannot repair.

But, at the start of a session, you may pick up, in error,

something you have already run, or skip and pick up

late. (i.e. you have done 133, you start at 129 the next session.

More seriously, you have not done 141 to

144, bat begin the next session at 145.)

If you skip 4 items and do a light, you wi11 surely become ill. By

illness is meant, “colds”, “flu”, “dysentry”‘,

etc.

To prevent becoming ill, be very careful of your place, very

careful to pick up where you left off, very careful

not to skip. And you will do very well.

If you do become physically ill, down in bed, it is almost certain

you missed items and did a skip.

And further, you must have been PTS at the time (connected to an

SP).

No Clearing Course auditing may take place during pregnancy.

If pregnancy occurs, send your folder to the Clearing Course

Supervisor who will keep it until after the birth

of the baby.

The Helatrobus

Implants

21 May 1963

By L. Ron HubbardÆ

Thank you. People of Earth, we come in peace. We bring a

plowshare, not a sword.

But we won’t use any clouds to spread the message. Oh, I see

you characters haven’t been really up to

the front of the track yet. All those Helatrobus Implants of

course came out of clouds originally, you know.

And this is the 21st of Mayo, AD 13, Galactic ye — well

that’s beside the point.

You don’t look to me like you’ve been making the progress

you ought to; you just don’t look to me like

you’ve been making the progress. But possibly if you’d taken a

retread in the Keokuk Central Office, maybe

you would have made better progress.

An interesting problem has presented itself, and so forth;

Every once in a while an industrious D of T

will treat an HPA like somebody in a co-audit, you know, and give

them all the latest tapes and materials and

just overwhelm them but good, you see, and never teach them how to

audit. And would you like to be

handling the material you are handling without knowing how to

audit? Be rough, wouldn’t it? Well, the

degree that we don’t make good auditors and the degree that we

can’t give Saint Hill training to as many as

possible, we are actually holding back Scientology.

You’re in just a little bit of a breathing space right at

the present instant. This is just a little bit of a

breathing space.

I was playing tag with the atomic war and the enthusiasm

with which certain misguided degraders wish

to launch off the bomb and all of this sort of thing, actually

stood across our track rather hard and it caused

a tremendous acceleration in research which ordinarily would have

been plotted out across a much longer

space of time and gives us something of an emergency

characteristic on this, because we’ve still got to beat

this line. We’ve still got to beat this, and these characters

don’t know what they’re doing. I can imagine them

now, you know, saying — saying, “Well, to be happy or not to be

happy. You know, I — I don’t know.”

I can see Kennedy walking around now. “Well, is it really

the beginning of heaven or the end of

heaven?” You see, and so on. He’s going over and see the Pope. And

there’s the Pope sitting there, and so

forth, and he’s got an electronic that is cutting his guts out,

you know, and he’s saying, “Bless you, my uhh

– son, bless you, my son.” You know? A wild game going on and

these are the characters who are telling

you whether or not you can launch a bomb or not launch a bomb. You

see?

So there’s no good sense involved in any of this and it’s

sort of in the cards and we’re winning, we’re

winning hands down. Now, our technological advance at this

particular time is sweeping on much faster

than I can give you all of the fine bits of, so that I can give

you the technology and the way you arrive at the

technology.

And this is the best that I can do. Now we’ve long talked

about Clears and so forth, and that’s fine. There

is nothing wrong with that, and there are Clears and so forth. And

we can make Clears by our own definition

and as far as the public is concerned, why, this is a very

interesting advance. And as Peter once told me, he

says, “Man,”. he says, “but I need this” he says, “to interest

people out in the public. Don’t go knocking

out this grade of Clear.” See?

Well, he’s perfectly right, see, perfectly right. But in

actual fact the state of Clear is not only attainable

but is being attained today here and there without any — hardly

any remark at all.

Now, for instance, in the last eight and a half hours of

auditing I’ve found three goals and run three

banks on a pc. Three complete GPMs. Well, this is a — this is

rather a dizzy rate of speed. Don’t you see? All

right. Now, you haven’t got any time to celebrate. That’s what’s

wrong with that. You’re achieving these

things and there’s no chance to — to state to the pc, “Now you

have to break out the champagne,” you see,

because it usually happens in the middle of session; by the middle

of the next session, or the end of the

session, he’s already gone beyond it. You’re achieving these

various points.

Now, if you’re achieving this now, you might be quite

interested in the fact that states of beingness

undreamed of before exist immediately before you. They’re in your

very immediate future. Before Christmas,

probably, if you keep your nose to the grindstone and keep your

case going. You’re — you’re right there.

Now, the technological win is tremendous and there are only

about five percent of the cases you’re

going to run into that are going to give you a bit of a thetan

ache because they don’t have what I choose to

call now, because it was the nation or small government that did

these things — Helatrobus — not to be

confused with Helatrobe. Helatrobe is the Galactic Confederation.

It’s Helatrobus. Call these things the

Helatrobus Implants for lack of a better designation because 43

trillion isn’t accurate for all cases, don’t you

see, and that sort of thing. You can’t give it by a time date and

there is no reason to keep calling it by a time

date. Let’s call it by something that was less well known, but

that we can identify. Call them the Helatrobus

Implants and it tells you these are the implants which begin with

the electronic clouds over planets and –

and the dichotomy, plus and minus, and so forth, and sweep on

through in a certain series. And people

have been through them once, twice, three, four times and they

have — we have the patterns of the first

series very accurately. We’ll shortly have the patterns of the

second series.

All that makes very easy auditing. We even have a technique

that handles this now: 3N, which has just

been released and that’s the same patter that you’ve been using,

speeded up a bit. And there’s even a

shortened version of that which you will need very soon.

You need this — you’ll go right on needing this from here

on out with a pc. You’ll need what’s called 3N,

but 3N has to be shortened after a pc has gone for three or four

banks because the pc’s running too fast.

And for instance, I’ve gotten a pc up to a point of the RI blows

on statement. This pc has been very

carefully textbook audited and is now blowing on statement.

There’s no — you call it back and it doesn’t

even flick, so you have to say, “That rocket read.” See, “It –

that rocket read.” But why? Because, well, it

rocket read when they said it, but you haven’t even got a tail on

the rocket read a lot of the time.’-You’ve got

the accelerated start. But instead of a tail on it, you’ve got a

blowdown. See, the thing doesn’t have a chance

to do a complete rocket read; it disintegrates.

It does an accelerated beginning; goes like mad, the tone

arm moves down, pc says, “Fine.” You read the

thing back and it’s quiet as a mouse. You can’t get a tick out of

this thing. You haven’t even opposed it yet

and you can’t even get a tick out of it.

All right. Well that, of course — after a while when a pc’s

doing this, it’s a waste of time to read the RI

back to him, so you get 3N-2 which is an abbreviated form of 3N,

just like 3N is an abbreviated form of 3M-2,

don’t you see? But you won’t be using 3M-2 on these implants

because the other is too easy.

Now, what can you cut out? Well, I just leave it up to you.

What can you cut out? Because your job –

let me tell you this very straight from the shoulder — your job

is to make sure that the charge is blown out of

that RI and that is your job as an auditor.

And let me — let me put a bug in your ear right now, don’t

you let any pc talk you out, with ARC breaks

or anything else, out of getting that charge off. You understand?

Because the pc will natter, the pc will yap,

the pc will this and will that about your reading it a second

time, how you’re cross-checking or doing

anything like that. Because you can do these things without losing

too much speed, but the pc starts

suppressing his cognitions in order to make speed, you see.

Suppressing this, suppressing that and all of a

sudden you’ve got a little fluky RR that goes flick-pow, and you

see it stop. It’s — it’s a choked down. Pc’s

suppressing almost as fast as he’s giving it to you. And you say

the pc is very nattery and the pc is this

way and that way, and therefore you mustn’t go in and clean that

up. Well, you’ve been defeated as an

auditor the moment you make that conclusion. You got it? Let the

pc yap because your payoff — your

payoff comes in the next two or three GPMs and if you’ve done that

well in the first that you’re running, then

your blows through the second are easier, the third, the fourth

GPM, and you’re just flying by enunciation

and recognition. You understand?

And you’ll be running maybe a GPM every forty-five minutes

of auditing time. You got that now?

Now, all you have to do is get a “Nelson eye” on the E-Meter

– a Britishism. He put the telescope to his

blind eye. They told him to withdraw, you see, and he said he

didn’t see anything. There is where your

danger lies because this thing chokes; you didn’t get a nice RR.

You say, “Well, I’ll let it go, because the pc

is running so well and this pc gets so nattery and ARC breaky

every time I stop him,” and reason, reason,

reason, reason, reason.

Now you’re — just made tremendous quantities of work for

yourself. Every time you strike that item again

in the next bank you’re going to find out that you didn’t clear

the charge of it in this bank. Not only are the

next few RIs going to be impeded but that item in the next bank

comparably is going to be badly impeded

and you are going to stack the case up. You hear me?

Now ARC breaks won’t stack the case up, but unblown RIs

will. And it’s your job as an auditor to get

that charge off. And that’s your job, and don’t let any pc talk

you out of it. See, you’ve got two choices on

running these days. You’ve got two choices that you can make, and

one of them is wrong. And that is have

the pc alwaye happy and cheerful and the other is have the charge

gone. And you just forget about that

first choice. Because how anybody could run the Helatrobus

Implants and be happy and cheerful, I don’t

know.

Oddly enough, after a while they will be happy and cheerful

but only if you get the charge off early on,

so nag them all you want to.

Now, you can nag them to a point where the charge won’t

blow. See where your judgment lies? You can

get them so upset and so enturbulated and so jumped up that the

charge won’t blow. You’ve gone the

wrong direction, don’t you see? But then that was a necessary

thing. You’re making mistakes then in order

to do this.

You get yourself a good clean RR that’s disintegrating at

the end and it’s blowing. It’s obviously going.

This RR is going to be gone and you read it back and you read it

back and then you say, “Well, it didn’t RR

again.”

And you read it back. And you say, “Are you doing anything?

Are you thinking about anything? It

didn’t read. I’ll read it again, ‘Wantably fantastic.’ It didn’t

read that time. What’s the matter?”

And next thing you know the pc is saying, “What’s hap — ?

Whaaa — whi — where am I going?” you see.

Well, you made a mistake.

The place to really get skilled is to recognize the quality

of RRs. Now some HPA thinks, “Well, I’m doing

pretty good; I’ve learned what an RR is.” You take off from there.

You get pretty good and learn what a

choked RR is and what a disintegrating RR is, and then you’ll be

in business.

You get some RRs; you could actually see the pc suppress

them as they happen. For a moment there

you can see that RR stop. And you can say to the pc, “What

happened?”

Pc says, “Well, it wasn’t much, I — well, I just had a

little cognition.” For interest of speed of run, they

start suppressing their cognitions. Almost fatal. Don’t you see?

And you say, “That’s fine. Thank you,” call

the item again and by golly there’ll be the full RR. See? You have

to learn to interpret an RR. There is nothing

anybody can do to help you really, beyond you finding out what one

is. These wide, loose disintegrating

RRs speed rapidly at the beginning. If you don’t get the instant

spurt at the beginning, you’ll never see it as

an RR because it hasn’t got any RR on the end. It’s disintegrated

already. You see an RR as it goes over, has

a hook tail, and many an auditor gets so educated into recognizing

an RR by its hooked tail that when he

gets to a disintegrating RR he sees no hooked tail but he missed

the spurt beginning.

Now of course, the meter is already in motion at the time

that the auditor starts to interpret it. You see,

he’s used to having his attention caught by the fact that the

thing is moving. He gets his attention — so he

says, “If it — needle starts moving then I should look at it and

see if it’s an RR.” Well, of course then he only

sees the end of it and it looks like a fall. Ah, but it had a

spurt beginning. He’s looked at a disintegrated RR.

The thing has disintegrated before it’s gone. See, that thing has

blown. It’s blown completely. There’s

nothing — no smoke left on it.

You call this thing again and it doesn’t fire at all. And

you say, “Well, I must have the wrong item. Let’s

random list for forty-five minutes.” Oh, hell’s bells, you could

run a whole bank in forty-five minutes. It’s

nonsense, you see? Why? That’s because the auditor doesn’t have

his attention on the meter to catch the

beginning spurt.

See, an RR is characterized by a spurted accelerated

beginning which is — gives it its name. It looks like

something taking off — you know, like being shot — shot away

from its start. It’s a spurting beginning. It

goes psshh, see. And then its other characteristic is a curled

end. After it gets passed over here, it go khihh!

And an RR is always characterized by these two things. Beginning

goes psshh, and the end go slhhp. All

right, the disintegrating RR doesn’t go slhhp, it only goes pssht.

All right, so if you have to have your attention caught by

the meter already being in motion, you miss

the beginning spurt so you don’t know if you’ve got an RR or a

fall. Then you’ll see an RR start off

beautifully. You can gauge the speed of an RR, of how far it will

run, by just watching it. You can get used

to that. And it starts off beautifully, it goes pssht, and it –

it didn’t go anyplace. That’s a choked RR. And

there’s a suppress, or a cognition suppressed, or the pc has done

something there. Pc has suddenly

wondered if it WSB “covitiviwiwibibly” or something, see –

halfway through having said it. Something has

happened here. And that RR isn’t blown and it won’t blow until you

ask the pc what happened and get rid of

that suppress and then the pc says, “Well,” the pc says, “Well, I

was so-and-so, and so-and-so, and I

thought it might be because there’s two here on the sheet and so

forth, and I thought it might be and

therefore so-and-so.”

And you say, “All right. Now, I’m going to say the item

again. ‘Inevitable catsfish,’ ‘inevitable catsfish.’

All right. That rocket read.” And it will. It rocket read

beautifully. Where was the charge? The charge is

insisted on. You must realize that these RIs don’t have any more

charge on them than you see on the meter.

Just mark that down. This meter is not indicating the presence of

charge. The rocket read doesn’t tell you

that there is some charge someplace. Just do a total associate.

See? The rocket read is the charge. All the

charge that is going to come off of that thing is seen in and has

velocity in that rocket read. That is the

charge. Now, you could be very pedantic and say, “Well, actually

the thetan in the facsimile is subjected to

certain impulses which causes him to impulsify and the 7.6-volt or

9-volt current which is being passed

through the corporeal resistance chamber known as a human body is

therefore modulated and monitored by

the various circuits which are approached from the right-hand

electrode and which terminate in the left-hand

electrode, and there’s a magnetic influence so that you get a

visual response in the ohmmeter” –

oh-damn-iter.

Some poor dear in Scientology every once in a while tells

me, “Huh, but you talk so much about

electricity, I-heh-heh — I don’t know anything about these

things.” I always shake them by the hand and

say, “That makes two of us.” Other people pretend they know

something about it, see? Well, this is an

interesting piece of magic you’ve got here in an E-Meter. That’s

for sure. This is an interesting piece of

magic and isn’t it interesting that it doesn’t exist elsewhere on

the whole track.

Oh, recording devices, and detective devices and thisas and

thatas and the other thing all exist on the

whole track. And there are all kinds of things and my old pals in

certain sections of this universe — well, in

the Galactic Confederacy particularly — would be absolutely

horrified if I said, “Well, we developed a meter

we don’t have here,” because their pride is that they have all the

equipment that was all — has ever existed

or that will ever be developed, and they know every electronic

activity that has ever existed or will ever exist

anywhere.

And that ends their modesty on the subject, see. And you

say, “Well, here’s a box of tricks that does

something that none of our meters do.” It wouldn’t be a popular

statement but it’d be a true one. It’s quite

remarkable that it does it. So let’s not worry why it does it.

Let’s not worry at all why it does it. Let’s worry

much more succinctly about the information it gives the auditor.

And the information it gives the auditor is:

There is something there, there is nothing there, or what is there

is beyond the pc’s reality. It gives us there

is something there that will be real to the pc. And that’s all

fine. We know all that.

But let’s take the next step that this thing is charged and

is discharging. Now you’ve customarily, in the

past, read this on your tone arm. Well, you don’t read these

Helatrobus Implants on your tone arm. We don’t

care whether the tone arm moves or not. Just skip it out in 3N.

That’s too much bother. Because you do a

bank or two and the tone arm starts moving down no matter how high

the thing has been stuck, and all the

charge that was on the original bank you were doing is coming off,

it’s coming off on the needle. But you’ll

also see the needle action reflect over onto the tone arm. So that

is all the charge there is on an RI.

Don’t imagine that sleeping beneath the surface is a

slumbering volcano that something elec can trigger.

No, sir. There is no such thing. When you read one of these things

and it goes pssheww and then you read

it again, ordinarily early on in a case you only get half the RR

or thereabouts and when you read it again you

get a fzzt, very tiny RR, about a quarter of an inch, and when you

read it again it goes thi, tick. That’s early

on in a case. Well, what happened to the rest of the RR? You’ve

got to recognize that something happened

to this RR, otherwise you’ll be nagging the pc to find out what

happened to the RR. Well, the RR

evaporated! That’s what happened to it.

Now, you’ve got to tell the difference between an RR that

evaporated and an RR that was choked to

death because they look different on the meter. And you just have

to get your eye educated to be able to

tell the difference. And it’s pretty hard to do and it’s not a

hundred percent, precision. I had to study in a

meter, I don’t know, hour or two or three, and certainly something

on the order of about five or six hours of

auditing, paying attention to just this one thing until I finally

got the subtle nuances of difference between

them. So it’s a case where experience is a very good thing to

have.

Well, we can make some very good general statements. You can

see the back break on one of these

things, too. Although what that means is just no more choke, see?

And then you’ll run into this one: The

thing fell when he said it and then you had him give you another

version, “coveting-a-tivably” and

something, and “erradicably catfish” and “wingabingably catfish,”

and all of a sudden you’ll see this

fantastic rocket read on something that has nothing to do with the

price of oranges, you see? And you say,

“Give me the original item again,” and you get a gorgeous rocket

read. In other words, you had a rocket read

sitting on top of it.

Something in his own existence had pressed down on this

thing and had transferred the read from the RI

to this other thing. In other words, it ate up the rocket read.

And the rocket read was encysted and this one

was therefore, wasn’t on your plot. That’s always what happens

when you can’t get plot item to read. It isn’t

that the plot item isn’t there; electronics were broken down that

way. The Helatrobus boys really ought to

get the manufacturer’s seal of approval and the service seal of

approval because I have been looking in vain

to have one of their damn squawk boxes not fire. It’s obvious with

that many squawk boxes and electronic

implant boxes in any existing series that — well, it is obvious

that their repairmen weren’t all that good

because they’re on cables and so forth. Particularly those strung

outside. Those that are on the last implant

of the first series, that were just there open to the weather.

Oh, I consider it very remarkable that they stay in

operation. I keep looking for a hole to occur in the line

plot. Don’t you see? I’ve had my eye open on this now for the last

two or three thousand items, you know.

Everything working. “Wantably, fantasticably, catfishably” and pow

– it’s working. There it reads.

So I just dropped it out of the line that there’s something

wrong with the electronic implant equipment as

the pc went by. See, I dropped that out. The reason I bring that

up, that might occur to some of you.

“Well, I guess that box wasn’t working that day,” see? Well,

it’s always possible that that is true, but I

haven’t found it to be true. They always worked. They should get

the manufacturer’s seal of approval and so

forth. Their production boys and their service unit should have

gotten the leather medal pinned on with a

blanket pin very deep.

But the point I am making here is that there’s something

wrong with the way the pc has approached this

thing and as your pc gets to flying on down the line, you less and

less will have trouble with this.

The point I’m trying to make to you: You do your job well at

first and your job gets easier. And you do a

lousy job at first and your job will not get easier, and it might

even get harder.

Now, the point where you make speed is to do your originals

and earlies right and then you’ll make more

and more speed, more and more speed, more and more speed. It goes

faster and faster and faster and faster

and faster, and faster. And don’t pull colossal blunders like

letting your pc miss an item which remains fully

charged even though he hit it, you know. You couldn’t get any

rocket read so just went on by it and then

find your pc leaping into the second series. The source of all

skips is a missed RI and there’s two ways to

miss one. Just not have it at all or not discharge it.

In other words, a skip — flying into another bank, flying

elsewhere, bouncing off the track, not being

there in the incident anymore — is caused by missing an RI,

either by not calling it at all — we go from

“covetably” to “inevitably” or something of the sort and we don’t

get the nix in, see; or we call it, it didn’t

fire, we don’t get the charge off of it and simply go on.

The next action the pc is liable to do is skip. You skip

something, so he Qs-and-As and he may go into

the identical or the similar implant of the second series. And you

suddenly find yourself running the second

implant series. And you wonder, what’s all this? The pc is being

torn to ribbons, nothing is RRing right, the

thing is — the words aren’t right and all of a sudden he says,

“Impassably and insurmountably, inevitably

catfish.” And you say, “That isn’t in the line plot.” It’s in the

second series — not those words are in the

second series; I haven’t got the second series plot. I’ve got some

of it though. And you say, “Where did all

this come from? What happened? What happened? What happened?”

Well, a good way to do that is to get

your pc oriented early as to his surroundings. Have him close his

eyes and take a look.

He doesn’t want to look very much. When you first start to

run it he will tell you it’s terribly unreal, and

he can’t see very much. And after you have done a bank or two his

reality on visio will be getting greater

and greater and better and better. And it’s usable by the auditor.

Now, pcs go up steps and down steps in the first implants

and they don’t always just go down. They

sometimes also go up because that’s more confusing. They don’t

turn around in the middle of a set of steps

and go the other way but they’ll start a bank and it’ll go

backwards to the last bank — so forth. So this is all

very confusing. But you get a pc — so don’t tell him you always

go downstairs because sometimes they go

up, see? And sometimes the oppterms are on the right and sometimes

they’re on the left which also makes it

interesting and sometimes a pc is sitting there with a line plot

and says, “This line plot ought to be printed in

reverse, you know.” Well, you can say it’s printed right for at

least half of the GPMs. Because it is. About

half of them, it is reversed. See?

Now, as the pc goes along you can actually — and you can

overdo this — you can make him put too

much attention on and work him into it, and yap at him and nag

him, and so forth, but it helps you out and

you say, “Take — take a look there, what do you see?”

And he says, “Well, I see a flight of steps.”

And you say, “Well, are any of them gray?”

“Yeah,” he says, “there’s one down there that’s gray.”

That’s an RI you didn’t get.

“Are any of those steps black?”

“Yeah, well there’s one over here that’s black and the rest

of them closer to me are white.”

Brother, something’s wrong here. Something’s missed, see.

That’s pretty crude repair. I myself don’t use

it. But I like to hear a pc tell me, “Those steps are all white

now.” Oh, that’s very nice, that’s very nice. That

tells you you haven’t got a speck of charge left behind you

because those charge — those steps were black

as ink the first time you went over them, see. But RI by RI they

turn white, see? Interesting isn’t it? You can

even orient the pc.

This is real trickery. I mean, these guys really set it up

well. This is real trickery on a part of an auditor.

Tricky, sneaky. Before you list for the next goal, have the pc

close his eyes and tell you what he sees. Find

the next goal and its top oppterm. Then have the pc close his eyes

and tell you if he’s in the same locale that

he was in before, because if he’s in a different locale you’ve

missed a whole bank. Tricky, huh? You get what

I mean?

These banks usually end at the top or bottoms of stairs.

You’ve just gotten the last item, you see.

He closes his eyes. “All right. Where are you?”

“Well, I’m on this landing.”

“All right. You got that? Oh, you’re on the landing. That’s

fine. All right.” Now we’re going to get the

next goal and we get the next goal and as soon as we’ve got it and

then we’ve got its — the top oppterm of it,

we have the pc close his eyes again and we say, “Now where are

you?” “Well,” he says, “I’m in the same

place, but just one step down.” “That’s fine.” Tricky. That’s

using the scenery to confirm the fact you don’t

skip anything.

Here are a few more creepy videos of Tom Cruise taken from the Scientology Awards. In the video above, Tom Cruise salutes a painting of L. Ron Hubbard. In the first video below, it talks about how Tom Cruise saved firemen, etc. after 9/11, ridding them of the toxins in their body (you know it’s true because the toxins come out purple!) Then in another video below, Tom Cruise lets out a silent but deadly fart. Just kidding… or am I? A lot more after the jump.
