Just because it’s called the Scream Awards doesn’t mean you have to smear dark lipstick on and dress like a goth. Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer showed up at the Scream Awards on Sunday looking like they were at a really awkward high school dance complete with a brick backdrop.

Blake Lively showed up at the Scream Awards in a body suit, silk skirt, leather harness and a huge insect brooch from Lanvin’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection (source for that here before anyone thinks I got that off the top of my head). Personally, I would have said she dressed like a less slutty slave Leia.

Blake presented the award for Most Anticipated Movie with her Green Lantern co-star Ryan Reynolds which they won. I wonder if they showed up because they were promised an award. Nah.

Anyway, fun fact. Did you know Ben Affleck punched Blake Lively in the face during filming of The Town because she wouldn’t have sex with him? I totally made that up but you believed me didn’t you?

Every year Spike TV holds its annual Scream Awards to celebrate hot chicks in horror movies. At least I think that’s what it’s all about. Look, I just know that through all these pictures, I’ve only seen two guys, Anthony Hopkins and that guy from American Pie. Sure, I could have dug a little deeper and maybe checked around a few sites to see what it was actually all about, but that would have taken time away from me making out with this 8×11 black and white printout of Kate Beckinsale.
