Australia has denied Snoop Dogg entry into their country, canceling his visa. According to federal immigration minister Kevin Andrews, Snoop Dogg failed the character test which looks at past criminal convictions. Snoop is supposed to make an appearance at the Australian MTV Music Awards on Sunday and MTV is hopeful he’ll make an appearance.

“The reality is … he has a whole string of convictions, and just two weeks ago I was told he was convicted on a number of charges again and sentenced to three years imprisonment on two, and three years imprisonment on another, with five years probation and a suspended sentence,” Andrews said. “He has been denied entry into the U.K. because he was caught with others causing a fray at Heathrow Airport. He doesn’t seem the sort of bloke we want in this country.”

Snoop Dogg has had a tough year. The U.K. doesn’t want him. Australia doesn’t want him. I asked Snoop about what he thinks of all this and he said something along the lines of, “They can izzle lizzle my dizzle. Hizzle?” Yea Snoop, foshizzle. That’s when it dawned on me.
