With the US release of The Avengers, what better time to put out a new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. This third trailer is a lot more lizardy. There’s also a quick shot of Garfield kissing Emma Stone and a skateboarder doing tricks. Why? Because X-Games, bro!

There’s also a scene where Spidey mocks a bad guy with a knife before he jizzes web onto him. Which brings me to another point. If you were Spider-Man, wouldn’t you jizz webs onto the faces of random strangers and shout “Haha, facial!,” before swinging away? It wouldn’t be the best use of superpowers, but what better way for a superhero to entertain themselves.

First up is The Avengers trailer which leaked a few days ago. This isn’t due out until next year but that doesn’t mean Marvel can’t put out a teaser trailer. You know this movie is going to do great considering it’s an amalgamation of all the crappy superhero movies that was released this year.

Next up is the official trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man provided by Movie-List. It stars Andrew Garfield as hipster Spider-Man. Gosh, he’s so tortured. The ladies love that.

If I was bitten by a radioactive spider and pulled a web out of my neck, the first thing I would have done is run around the room flailing my hands and shrieking like a girl. I’m just sayin’. Can we be at least a little realistic?

The new Spider-Man is a total rip-off of The Accused. The only thing missing are the other guys cheering on the rape.

Sony released a first look of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man. I don’t remember Spider-Man being so thin. Did he go vegan? What a queer.

The last thing the Spider-Man franchise needs is a reboot. You can’t just repress all those bad memories from the first three like you can those about your not-by-blood uncle playing the nervous game with you. Marvel will try though.

To wash the bitter taste of emo Toby Maguire ‘s dance number and pebble-toothed Kirsten Dunst out of your mouth, Marvel cast Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man and Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy. Here’s the now blonde Emma Stone filming a funeral scene for the next Spider-Man movie/reboot. Good thing Kirsten Dunst isn’t in this one. It makes it easier on the CGI guys since they won’t have to edit out everyone recoiling in fear every time she makes eye contact.

Andrew Garfield has been chosen to replace Tobey Maguire in the fourth “Spider-Man.” Don’t know who he is? Me neither. PEOPLE educates us.

Something of a familiar (and handsome) face in the U.K. for his TV starring roles on Red Riding and Boy A, Garfield, 26, will be seen on the big screen this fall in The Social Network (director David Fincher’s film about Facebook, also starring Justin Timberlake) and in the adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro’s Never Let Me Go. Last year, he appeared in Terry Gilliam’s The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

“Though his name may be new to many, those who know this young actor’s work understand his extraordinary talents. He has a rare combination of intelligence, wit and humanity. Mark my words, you will love Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker,” says Spidey 4 director Mark Webb, whose debut feature, (500) Days of Summer, developed something of a cult following last year.

I’m sure he’ll make a decent Spidey but it always amazes me why they ask the director for his opinion on his lead actor. Of course he’s going to talk him up. He’s not going to say, “Man, I can’t believe this fucking douchebag is the new Peter Parker. God, what a queer. You’re gonna hate this movie.”

Despite opening to bleak reviews, Spider-Man 3 earned $148 million over the weekend besting the previous record of $135.6 million set by Pirates of the Caribbean 2. On Friday, Spider-Man took in $55.8 million breaking the opening day record also held by Pirates. The number two movie in the nation is Disturbia which earned $5.7 million over the weekend and $59.8 million overall; a number Spider-Man 3 almost beat in one day. Spider-Man’s worldwide total is estimated at $375 million; $125 million short of the projected $500 million used by marketing and production.

According to these numbers, Spider-Man is everyone’s favorite movie hero. According to my numbers, I’m everyone’s favorite real life hero. Just yesterday I had sex with your girlfriend and drank your beer so you didn’t have to. No thanks are necessary.

Two weeks ahead of the US premiere, China’s movie pirates have already begun selling bootlegged copies of “Spider-Man 3″ at a little over $1. Mocking the MPAA, they have printed in Chinese on the back a warning against pirating the film.

The Hollywood Reporter says the discs won’t work in a normal DVD player, typical of these pirated copies. A fairly odd statement since tv and movies have taught me Chinese people are smart in everything electronic. Knowing that, I’m pretty sure whoever wrote that is lying and these DVDs would work in anything with a slot. I actually have it on good authority that when you put this puppy in a toaster, a 42-inch LCD pops out along with robot hands programmed to massage your back while you pirate your way to pleasure.

A delayed production lasting months longer than anticipated will cause Sony to spend $500 million on “Spider-Man 3″ making it the most expensive movie ever made.

But in the end, even the most hyperbolic of observers may have underestimated the final tab. Industry insiders claim that Sony spent $350 million or more on production alone. With marketing and promotion factored in, the total price tag will approach half a billion dollars—positioning Spider-Man 3 as the most expensive movie of all time. (Cleopatra, the 1963 epic that has long held the title of priciest picture, had an inflation-adjusted budget of $290 million.)

To recoup their losses, “Spider-Man 4″ will be filmed in my backyard and consist of me swinging my Spider-Man action figure through the trees fighting invisible evil-doers like pollution and global warming. Since that can only go on for so long, there will also be some footage of me playing with a puppy. Cutest movie ever? Cutest. Movie. Ever.

The teaser for Spider-Man 3 has been leaked. It’s pretty much recorded right from the reel or something, but at least you get to see it and skip the 20 minute previews for Superman Returns. Then while you’re at it you can tell me why every single Spider-Man movie has to be set in the same place. Watch, listen and learn.

There have been internet rumors that the Spider-Man 3 teaser would run with the new Superman movie. It seems that now, it is pretty much official unless something happens during the next week. To everyone, this or Pirates Of The Carribean would be the most obvious movie to attatch it to, but with studios that churn out movies like Phat Girlz, Date Movie and Madea’s Family Reunion you just never know.

So, when you’re waiting in line behind those tiny children screaming at each other, just know that you’ll be getting a taste of some Spider-Man 3, even if it could only be a minutes worth of picture. But if you don’t see the teaser, then just accidentally spill some coke on those kids. It’ll make you feel so much better.

Also, remember that there are four villians this time. The three that are known are Venom, Sandman and Green Goblin. I’m sure Avi Arad will have a suprise for those at the San Diego Comic-Con. I say this because…it’s Comic-Con and I’m probably going to be there.

Some new pictures from the Spider-Man 3 set with Spider-Man’s girlfriend Gwen Stacy, played by Bryce Dallas Howard from The Village. This is an improvement from having to look at vampira Kirsten Dunst swinging around with Peter Parker, even if it’s only for a little while.

Did anyone else think The Village was a horrible movie? Good, because whenever someone says Bryce Howard, I will always associate her with the piece of crap that was The Village. I keep asking her for a refund and each time she says sweet nothings to me like “I’m calling the police.”
