In his quest to be the most indie actor in the known indie universe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt covered “Hey, Jude” at, where else, Sundance. You can practically feel his indie cred skyrocket through his minor cords and out of his butt.

It’s a known fact that Paris Hilton has no shame. Therefore, this story about Paris making off with 30 gift bags at Sundance isn’t surprising at all. In fact, some would be so inclined to wonder: Only 30?

Word comes to us late on a Sunday night at the Sundance Film Festival that Paris Hilton left the Hollywood Life House gifting suite with 30 bags — 30 bags — stuffed full of free merchandise from Whiting & Davis, which makes metal mesh material and accessories.

Even the publicity people representing the Hollywood Life House seemed aghast, noting in a press release that the Hilton hotel heiress did it, “without shame.” And we’re wondering why she’s even here. It’s not like she’s in a movie at the festival.

This sounds bad, but I’d be doing the same thing. Not only that, I’d have my friends help me run off with at least 60 bags. Granted, I’m not heir to a billion dollar empire, rich enough to afford a pink Bentley or popular enough to use a tv show to find a best friend, but apart from those things, Paris and I aren’t very different. I mean, if I had a vagina, I’d probably skip school to have random strangers stick things in it all day as well.
