Man of Steel, the Superman reboot, filmed more scenes in Plano, Illinois. As you can see, they made one big change to Superman’s costume. They took off his red underwear. They also made minor changes to his belt.

Man, he looks naked. Hey, but at least you can see his crotch bulge better. And that’s all we can ever ask from our superheroes. Not like that uptight Batman who needs body armor for his bulge. Superman’s is all natural, baby!  Henry Cavill knows what’s up.

Here’s your first look at Henry Cavill (Tudors) as Superman in the Superman reboot. He looks very… Superman-ish. So, at least they can never say this movie never got off to a good start.

Seems like Hollywood isn’t going to stop making new Superman movies until they get it right. There’s probably a guy in the back after every reboot tweaking his superhero movie equation for the right amount of dark and edgy mixed with the right amount of campy and formulaic.

Radar claims Lindsay Lohan will read for a role in the upcoming Superman reboot sometime in the near future. A source says, “Lindsay plans to return from New York on Wednesday and meet with producers and read with an actor who is up for the role of Lex Luther.” *Checks date* Hey, Radar. Wasn’t this supposed to be published April 1st?

Lindsay allegedly wanted the role of Lois Lane but it wasn’t hard for Amy Adams to beat her out for it. Which was total bullsh*t. What does that Oscar nominated actress have that the un-insurable thief, Lindsay Lohan, doesn’t?

Lindsay’s friend Nathan Folks says a role in the Superman movie is a dream of hers. Granted, any paying job right now is a dream of Lindsay’s. Someone could ask her to do a Captain Crunch commercial and she’d start pinching herself because she’d think she was dreaming.

Zack Snyder has chosen Amy Adams to play Lois Lane in the Superman reboot. She’ll join Henry Cavill who’ll play Clark Kent and Kevin Costner and Diane Lane, who will play ma and pa Kent. Nerd boner level: semi.

“There was a big, giant search for Lois,” Snyder said. “For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role. We did a lot of auditioning but we had this meeting with Amy Adams and after that I just felt she was perfect for it.”

Did the meeting go like… Zack Snyder: “Big Oscar winner, want to be in movie?” [Throws money in Amy Adam's face]. Amy Adams: “Yes!” Zack Snyder: “Sweet!” [Does a fist pump]

Snyder declined to discuss the precise prominence of Lois in the story or any plot details about the film but he said the role is “a linchpin” to the project and that he considers it essential that Lois — an FDR-era creation – arrives on screen in 2012 with contemporary appeal and spirit.

She better arrive in 2012 with a contemporary appeal and spirit. Wait. This means she’s going to dress real slutty and want sex all the time, right? What am I thinking. This is Zack Snyder. Of course she will.

“It goes back to what I’ve said about Superman and making him really understandable for today. What’s important to us is making him relevant and real and making him empathetic to today’s audience so that we understand the decisions he makes. That applies to Lois as well. She has to be in the same universe as him [in tone and substance].”

Whew. I’m glad that’s settled. One thing I was worried about was whether or not Lois would be in the same Universe as her god damn boyfriend.

This still doesn’t instill a lot of confidence. Unless all I wanted to see was lots of six packs, super slow-mos and stylized fight scenes. In which case, where do I pre-order tickets?

Lindsay Lohan has been given chance after chance after chance and she’s squandered every one by repeatedly screwing up. The only difference this time is she’s fast tracked the cycle by screwing up even before she’s been given another chance.

TMZ says Lindsay has had multiple phone conversations with people behind the Superman reboot and is up for the role of a “major character” in the film. Sources claim Lindsay is “dying to show people again how talented she is” and that she’s supposed to meet with the Superman brass. Although, that might prove a little difficult due to her impending felony grand theft charge.

I haven’t read Superman lately but is there a character who gets drunk a lot and wanders around Venice beach stealing clothes and jewelery? Is her super power boring you to death by rambling on and on about how the world is against her and how she and her lesbian lover belong together? Because that’s the only way Lindsay should have a part in this.

Most people know about Nicholas Cage’s fascination with comic books, especially Superman. That was pretty clear after he guaranteed a lifetime of beatings for his son by naming him Kal-el. After seeing Brandon Routh in the new Superman movie, Cage has become even more obsessed.

“I really like the movie. Each night I have dreams that I’m flying. I’m a real good floater in my sleep. But I wake up thinking the dream really did happen. “My wife looks at me and sees I’m lifting up, wondering if I’m really going to leave the ground. It’s quite a wake-up call.”

I have dreams of having sex with supermodels. The difference between my dreams and Nicholas Cage’s dreams is my dreams are based in reality and don’t make me sound crazy. But really, I actually do have sex with supermodels in my sleep. I’m serious. They may be gone when I wake up, but I have semen on my sheets every morning. Isn’t that proof enough?
