A video on YouTube points out how Michael Bay recycled footage from 2005′s The Island for use in Transformers 3. The two scenes are basically the same sequence updated with a bit of CGI. SlashFilm notes that this isn’t the first time he’s done it as he’s used scenes from Pearl Harbor for the first Transformers.

Why reuse stock footage when you have millions of dollars from product placement and the studio? Naturally, he was probably too busy telling Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to shake her ass for the camera to be bothered to storyboard a new sequence.

A new trailer for Transformers: Dark of the Moon launched yesterday and it’s way more Michael Bay-y than the previous ones. There’s a lot of bang, boom, blams everywhere and car crashes and Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s pouty lips and an office building being tentacle raped.

This will be the movie event of the year! Only to be quickly forgotten in 3 weeks.

Megan Fox was dropped from the Transformers franchise and won’t be appearing in the third installment. Everyone seems to think Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will take over the role but no one tell Heidi Montag that because then she’ll stop making embarrassing audition tapes.

In this one, she’s at the firing range taking out pieces of cardboard one by one. Those cutouts don’t even know what hit them. The only problem is I don’t remember Megan Fox ever firing a gun in those movies. I did see her bending over a lot. While working on a car, for example, or while seductively posing on a bike. Maybe Heidi should make a video of her doing those things. They’d help a lot. Especially with Michael Bay. What would convince him even further is if she rubbed her tits in his face while he threw dollar bills at her. Degrading women is a favorite pastime of his.

Megan Fox’s spokesperson is denying earlier reports that Michael Bay dropped her from Transformers 3 and that it was her decision not to return. Although, Fox wishes the franchise the best.

To recap. Megan Fox dropped out of a billion dollar franchise. A franchise that probably would have been great for her career. That’s very believable. That’s like me saying I voluntarily left Marisa Miller’s house when I really was dragged out by security still twitching from the active Taser barbs stuck in my chest.

Last September, Megan Fox compared director Michael Bay to Hitler and Napoleon. Everyone scratched their heads wondering why she’d kill her career in the franchise that made her famous. Later on, Fox and Bay seemed to have made up. But wait.

Bay might still have some hard feelings as Deadline Hollywood reports Paramount won’t pick up Megan Fox’s option on Transformers 3 and that it was ultimately director Michael Bay’s decision.

I’ve just learned that Paramount won’t be picking up Megan Fox’s option on Transformers 3 — and that it was “ultimately” director Michael Bay’s decision. (So he gets his revenge for her remark comparing him to “Hitler”.) Right now Bay and writer Ehren Kruger et al are finishing up the script for the threequel and “giving Shia a new love interest makes more sense for the story,” an insider tells me. Bay will start casting immediately for the new female co-star.

Whatever. It doesn’t matter anymore. Megan Fox is already a big enough star now. A third Transformers would have made her a truckload of money but wouldn’t have boosted her fame much more. It’s almost a win-win because if Transformers 3 is anything like Transformers 2, you can bet it’ll continue the tradition of being one of the dumbest blockbusters of the year. Also, I have no doubt that any other aspiring actress can fulfill Michael Bay’s role of “chick bending over on bike” just as well.

Michael Bay announced on his blog yesterday that they have the Transformers 3 story ready with a release date of July 1, 2011. He then took the opportunity to poorly bash Megan Fox while simultaneously describing how I feel when I think about a third Transformers movie.

“Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.”

How clever, Michael. You may have fooled the untrained eye, but I see your passive aggressive wish for her death by casually mentioning internal hemorrhaging as if it were as mild a condition as chest hair growth. Megan pegged you wrong. Where you’re reciting limericks of her contracting swine flu, Hitler would’ve shot her toe thumbs off and gouged her eyes out with them by now.

At least it isn’t as campy as the last one where Bumblebee started weeping fluid when Shia told him he’s not taking him to college. And of course there’s a gratuitous scene of Megan Fox posing/writhing on a motorcycle and the promise of a webcam. That’s hot because we all know that girls like to get naked for their boyfriends on those internet video things and eventually those recordings are leaked onto pornographic websites. That’s not going to happen in this PG-13 movie, but the possiblity is there and that’s pretty exciting.

Here’s Megan Fox attempting to seduce me while on set of Transformers 2. *Rolls eyes* I know your game Megan and I don’t think the producers appreciate you spending valuable studio time lusting over me. In fact, I think we should see other people. I’d say it’s not you, it’s me, but that would be a lie. The truth is I can’t take this anymore. You’re too clingy. I feel I’m being stifled. I need to be free like a beautiful butterfly. Free to suck nectar from the teat of other beautiful butterflies. For that is the way of the butterfly.

The Transformers trailer has hit. I haven’t been keeping up with all the rumors, but the robots look nice. Whoever thought of robots coming from outer space needs to win an award. God I hope there’s robot sex in it.

A teaser trailer for the Transformers movie has been put up on their website. There’s not much to it. Just what you expect from a teaser. No relevant information whatsoever except for a shot of a Transformer.

So, is this supposed to get me interested? I see some lame footage of the Earth and you expect me to care past those 2 minutes you took from my life? Let me beat you with a bat and see if I can get you interested in something.

The Transformers teaser poster has arrived. Not much else to say, but if Michael Bay can work his magic, this will be another popcorn flick with mind numbing action. In other words, everything a guy could hope for when he just wants to sit around and not think. When you hit the Transformers page, you’ll see a countdown till the teaser trailer. This is called, “dicking people around.”
