This is a spoiler, so don’t read any further if you have never seen the movie and go back to your cave.

By now, everyone knows that X-Men has a final scene at the end of the credits. However, some people who stay till this scene say they have a different version depending on their country. Here are the four that people have been supposedly seeing. “Supposedly” because this is probably just a ploy to help out this mediocre movie (104 minutes isn’t enough time for a movie like this).

1. The Professor X ending, where a patient on the table calls out to Dr. Moira.
2. The grave of Jean Grey shaking and then a shot of it completely empty.
3. Mystique hands a case to Magneto, you don’t get to see its contents.
4. The red ray of Cyclops explodes out of Alkali Lake before a rapid fade to black.

There you have it. My duty of reporting unsubstantiated rumors is done. It doesn’t matter if this is true or not as this will just create more buzz for the movie. I also leave you with this scene from the movie which was cut out, at least for my version.

X-Men took a huge dive at the box office taking in only $34.4 million as opposed to anything close to the $107 million they made during their opening weekend. That’s almost a 70% drop in sales which sends a clear message. Why would people watch it again with a rushed story, characters that weren’t developed enough and somewhat cheesy dialogue.

This gave way for The Break-Up to take the #1 spot with $38.1 million. Sure, the movie got slammed, but I went to see it anyway (for you guys, really!). It wasn’t that bad. Predictable at times and Vince Vaughn not always on, but he still had great deliveries, especiailly with Jon Favreau. Suprisingly, the story didn’t end up where you’d think it would. Notice I didn’t mention Jennifer Aniston. She didn’t do much for me besides showing her ass, at the 57 minute mark for the 2 of you that think she’s hot, which still didn’t do much for me.

I haven’t been to the movies in a while, but $10 for tickets? Why not just rape me and have me say thank you while I’m sobbing. At least Mastercard was running a 2 for $11 promotion.

X-Men: The Last Stand had the fourth largest weekend opening in box office history making $107 million during Memorial weekend. It comes behind 3 boring films, Spider-Man, Star Wars: Episode III and Shrek 2. If you think about that, it’s pretty sad.
X-Men: The Last Stand had the fourth largest weekend opening in box office history making $107 million during Memorial weekend. You can actually hear FOX going “cha-ching”, while wiping their asses with $100 bills.

Superman Returns will take #1 in records because, as we all know, Superman trumps Spider-Man and a superhero in partial body hugging red/blue spandex is more entertaining to watch than one in full body hugging red/blue spandex.

Update: The official number is now $107 million for a 3 day opening, $120 million for a 4 day opening.
