Jack Bauer is on his way to the big screen. Fox has closed a deal with creators Robert Cochran and Joel Surnow for a 24 movie. Even though no talent has been signed, I have an inkling Kiefer Sutherland is going to be in it. The script will begin to be written in late summer and based on how season six goes, Fox will then decide whether or not to go ahead. If 24 follows the same track record, then we will see a movie before the seventh season.
This will most likely be a 2+ hour feature so it won’t take place in one day which lends the writers to let Jack go international. Jack goes to Namibia? It’s said that the film will not be tied in too tightly with the show so the 2 people who haven’t watched it will understand.
