According to the crack team at NOTW, Lindsay Lohan is selling her homes after overspending on million dollar hotel stays, six figure rehabs and thousands in fines for her multiple DUI’s. Not to mention buying enough nose candy to warrant both a birthday and Christmas card from the Colombian cartels. In short, Lindsay is as broke as her morals are loose. As it stands, the starlet is currently in town to film a movie, but she’s not staying in an extravagant hotel like the Chateau Marmont, she’s staying in the guest house of the executive producer of her last film, I Know Who Killed Me.

A source close to the star revealed: “Lindsay doesn’t have much choice as she is totally broke. The only reason she’s coming back to LA, is to earn some money fast.

“She still thinks nothing of blowing thousands of dollars on a single night of partying.

“And the amount she has wasted putting cocaine up her nose is disgusting. Even she has lost count.”

Despite the quote from the always reliable “source,” Lindsay is probably not broke. Nor is she in town to earn some quick cash. See, I want to believe in the best. To me, she’s still that sweet, little red-head with the mischievous grin, cutting lines of coke on a broken mirror instead of on the toilet seat of Cirque Lodge and ordering condoms in bulk from Amazon.com instead of reusing ones from the trash can.
