Yesterday, hundreds of fans booed and walked out (little video of it there) of Amy Winehouse’s concert in Bringham as she slurred and stumbled her way through four songs.
She said: “Let me tell you something. First of all, if you’re booing you’re a mug for buying a ticket.
“Second to all the people booing – just wait till my husband gets out.”
Fan James Dyas was one of those who walked out demanding his money back.
He said: “She came on stage half an hour late. She managed four songs but was slurring her words and swaying all over the place.
“She fell into the guitar stand and dropped the microphone – it was atrocious.
“The song she dedicated to her husband was so bad it was like swinging a cat round your head.”
This was the first show of her 17 date UK tour so you can guess what the next 16 shows will be like. Yea, complete and utter chaos. You’ll be lucky to have her even sing one note. The next show will just be her crawling out from behind the curtain completely plastered and screaming something about her husband. Except, you won’t understand a word she’s saying because at that point the only melodious sound coming out of her will be, “Glarghargahh,” which is basically just Amy drowning in her own vomit.
Bringham? If I had to go to Birmingham I’d get hammered too. I’d kill for a ticket for a Scotland date. KILL!
