Les Deux isn’t just known for it’s violent scuffles and beatings, they’re also known for their statutory rapings. 19-year-old Skye-Anne Smith filed court papers yesterday claiming that after being let in without an ID check on August 9, 2007, she was whisked away to the “owner’s table” where one of them took great care in stuffing her with enough social lubricant to be able to anally and vaginally rape her. TMZ says,
She says she was immediately taken to the “owner’s table,” where she met defendants Lonnie Moore and Sylvain Bitton, both co-owners of the club. In the lawsuit, she says Moore “started off the debauchery” by plying her with six to eight alcoholic drinks. The suit alleges one of the owners suggest to Moore that Smith shouldn’t be in the club because of her age. The alleged response from Moore: “I don’t care. She’s hot.”
Assuming the girl in question isn’t lying, then logically, Moore’s statement makes perfect sense. Why should a simple state law restricting people that are under 21 from being served alcohol apply when the underage girl in front of you is very obviously hot (and sloshed)? In modern society, beauty always trumps common sense. No one will fault you for that. Especially when you have the opportunity to get laid.
