Britney Spears to be an actress and have an allowance

Britney Spears has been tapped to guest star in CBS’s How I Met Your Mother. Her scenes will be with Ted Mosby played by Josh Radnor and she may even become a recurring character. Alicia Silverstone was also set to guest star, but her agents have since pulled her out as to not be overshadowed by Britney Spears. (Heh heh. Overshadowed. They called her fat.) This isn’t the first time Britney has guest starred on a show. She first appeared on Will & Grace in April 2006 before she went crazy.

Then there’s the bad news. Britney has been put on allowance. She will only be given $1,500 a week by way of debit card. Jamie’s lawyer says this is so Britney “can spend money, have her freedom, and make choices about how she wants to enjoy her life.” In contrast, Jamie, Britney’s dad/conservator, is given $2,500 a week.

It’s said that when Britney heard the news, she looked at her empty frappucino cup, made a sad face and screamed “Barbarians!”
