In a foreshadowing of life to come, Jamie Lynn Spears celebrated her 17th birthday with only Casey Aldridge at the local Wal-Mart and Ruby Tuesday restaurant. Her mom, Lynne, and father, Jamie, and brother, Bryan, traveled to Brentwood, California to have dinner with the more important and non-pregnant-at-17 Britney Spears. Sources say there was no mention of whatshername’s birthday and everyone had a great time.
“Britney was beautiful and happy,” adds the onlooker, who said she acted “very polite and composed.
“She was giggling with her friend and having a wonderful time.”
Throughout dinner, the singer, 26, “was talking most to her brother Bryan, whom she seems to be close to. He seemed protective of her and shielded her from the rest of the restaurant.”
Spending the day at Wal-Mart because your family ditched you to go to the other side of the country to eat with your non-birthday sister is much more fun than it sounds. I mean, Wal-Mart is open 24 hours and they have, like, pet beds and stuff. Really though. The only way that Jamie’s birthday would have been worse is if her parents didn’t tell her they buried land mines outside the house before they left.
