Kelly Rutherford, 40, who plays Lily van der Woodsen on Gossip Girl, still breast-feeds her 2-year-old son, Hermés. Hermés is old enough to walk and talk but still sucks on mommy’s teat. Kelly explains:
“It’s an amazing bond with your child,” she said, even pointing out that the experience mostly benefits her body – not her kid: “I was thinner after my pregnancy than before, and I think a lot of it was the nursing.”
Okay. Dress it up however you like, but that’s creepy. Usually when your kid is fully cognizant and speaks coherently, that’s a good time to wean him away from your breasts. Normal people are a little freaked out when their son asks to put your nipple in his mouth. At least according to my mother. Personally, I think she’s just holding out on me.
